Excellent, Reliable, Professional Agents

Redrose Lettings have been our agents now for over five years. Throughout that time, we have had a very satisfactory relationship with all of their representatives and a quick, response to all enquiries or issues. Recently Redrose have handled a delicate situation very professionally and achieved an extremely satisfactory outcome for all concerned. We are extremely grateful to Karen Hadden for her conscientious , committed and professional input in resolving our problem. We would happily recommend Redrose Agents. Unprofessional and Frustrating

I had a frustrating experience dealing with this estate agency, particularly with Cathy O’Grady. I initially contacted the main office via email after seeing a property listing and received a response from her. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, many of the key questions I asked in my initial email were overlooked. This led to me having to repeat myself multiple times across several follow-ups, some of which are still unanswered.

Responses were slow, and even then, they frequently failed to address the actual queries I’d raised - prompting me to chase them up again. Instead of getting clarity, the communication just kept going in circles. In the most recent exchange, before even addressing my latest email, Cathy insisted on clarifying something (before even addressing my email) that had already been clearly confirmed in my previous message - again, if it had been properly read like my initial email introducing everything, she would have her answer instead of cutting me off.

Overall, the lack of attention to detail, slow responses, and general poor unprofessional communication has left me extremely disappointed. I would not recommend dealing with this agency based on my experience.

What a friendly local business

The ladies that dealt with us at Red Rose, Karen and Cathy, were friendly, professional and thorough. They went above and beyond for us as new renters and made sure we understood the process. They don't only look out for the landlord but they look out for the tenants as well.

Happy tenant

Very easy to deal with. Inspections are dealt with professionally, and any repairs organized quickly. My latest inspection was carried out by Karen Haddon, who is always very nice to deal with.

I had a viewing scheduled with RedRose…

I had a viewing scheduled with RedRose Estate Agents to see a rental property on Friday, and I made sure to arrive promptly at the agreed time. However, after waiting patiently for 15 minutes, I was informed that the agent didn't have the keys to the property
.
This lack of basic preparation and organization is completely unacceptable. It's not like I just showed up unannounced; they knew well in advance that I had a viewing scheduled. To be left waiting like that without any prior warning is a clear sign of incompetence on their part.
Following that disappointing Friday, I made arrangements to reschedule the viewing for Saturday, as it was the only day that fit into my schedule. Despite my reservations after the previous mishap, the letting agent assured me that the viewing would proceed as planned.
To add insult to injury, when they finally got back to me and that was on a Wednesday ( 2 days before our viewing), they had the audacity to tell me that the property had already been given to someone else. It's beyond frustrating to have my time wasted like this, especially when it's coupled with such blatant disregard for my inconvenience.
If they can't even get something as simple as having the keys to a property right, I have serious doubts about their ability to manage a tenancy effectively.

Cathy at red rose estate agents buckshaw has been fabulous with dealing with our house move! So efficient and has been so efficient dealing with all my enquirys and making sure I was up to date and totally informed at every stage.

Poor customer service

Absolutely terrible experience, very childish ways of talking to adults & charged for completely no reasons. Unethical standards & ways of treating people, I have never been made to feel uncomfortable & mocked as a part of my customer experience. Very disappointed & upset from the experience of having to deal with the firm that is so rude. Nothing was organised properly for me & there was so much wrong with the flat that I couldn’t live there & they declined to sort it out. I would avoid at all costs

Awesome team

Awesome team. Every one of them.

I'm ashamed to say I've been letting my property out with Redrose for about five years, but didn't even think to leave a review (usually I only think for buying crap from the web and such). They are an awesome group of people who do an amazing job, speaking from a landlord's perspective. They are fair to both landlord and tenant in my experience, and I have had some challenges which they readily helped with.

All I can say is great job guys!

Excellent estate agent.

I find the personnel at this estate agent’s incredibly good at communication. They are friendly, polite and honest.
I have been dealing with them now for about 3 years and they have always been consistently reliable and professional.
I thoroughly recommend this company.

RedRose excellence

RedRose deal with our rental properties and very recently with our main residence move
In both cases RedRose have provided excellent service
If you are looking for house sale or letting expertise in the Buckshaw, and indeed the greater Chorley area, then these are the people to approach
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company for all letting and sales needs

Five years ago after selling our…

Five years ago after selling our business we decided to purchase some properties to rent. We looked long and hard at various estate agents to manage the properties in the end we choose Redrose. We have not been disappointed. We have always found them very professional yet friendly great interpersonal skills, with the attitude “ Problem! No problem”
Nothing runs smooth all the time and there has been the odd hiccup these have always been solved quickly and efficiently either face to face chat or over the phone.
Chris the Office Manager is always at the end of the phone/email with help and advice on the properties wether it’s maintenance, rents, selling /buying.
Beth the Letting Negotiator is exceedingly good at what she does, she regularly checks the properties this allows us to sleep nights knowing they are being looked after. Would we recommend this company? Absolutely.

We have recently left a property managed by this firm. We were there for over 5 years and had numerous inspections with no issues with the house. During the time the only maintenance they would carry out were when we insisted. The carpets were over 10 years old and were only replaced after numerous requests, as soon as they were replaced the rent went up. They would only replace the minimum amount stating that the landlord can’t really afford to pay out for it. However they were happy to take over £40,000 over the period of the tenancy.

We reported a leaking gutter which would keep us awake at night, this was never repaired. There were two leaks in the roof which were causing damp, these were never fixed. We also reported rats/mice in the roof, nobody ever attended and we had to try and fix the issue ourselves. There are droppings in the loft, these have not been removed. When we were due to leave viewing appointments would be organised and not kept, appointments would be made and we were not notified, every time you ring the office nobody seems to know what is going on.

Upon leaving the electrics blew the day before we left leaving us unable to hoover and stem clean appliances. I offered to get a cleaner in to remedy the situation but this was ignored. Instead they have insisted we pay an exuberant fee of £80 for cleaning and want a carpet cleaning (which has not been hoovered due to their faulty electrics) for a further fee. They refuse to provide any sort of breakdown of costs and ignore any emails that pose a question unless they want something. They will not listen to reason, their only loyalty is to a landlord who has not decorated the house in years. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Highly recommended

Rented a property for 3 years with Red Rose. They were always a pleasure to deal with. Particularly Bethany. Inspections always ok, maintainence requests always dealt with promptly. Fair when it comes to moving out. Highly recommended.
