Couple Redfin Realtors weren't helpful
Was looking for a condominium in the Denver area. Met with a Redfin Realtor, Dan, in Arvada and was touring a condo with Dan and the seller broker. Due to health concerns, I asked the seller broker if smoking was prohibited in the building. Dan responded "you're not in Boulder". At another condo with a different Redfin Realtor, I met with Enrique who tried rationalizing the problems I brought to his attention.

I found Redfin to be an exceptional experience for me. I was trying to sell my condo and the first realtor was not organized and didn't seem interested in helping me sell. Then I found a Redfin realtor that sold another condo unit in my building and hired him.
The most impressive items were: the Redfin realtor and staff were always available for a phone call. All the paperwork was organized and both were available for asking questions and it sold in less than 6 weeks. Then I found another property and the same Redfin agent helped me purchase my new property, and to top it off, both selling and buying of these 2 properties were handled in the same day. Once again, Redfin is very professional, customer service exceptional, excellent online PDF signing of documents, the best realtor rate in the marketplace, and very honest. A fabulous experience x 2. I believe Redfin will be the future of home selling, buying, as well as renting.
Service of realtors is poor
Redfin is good for online tours if you are out of town. However, when I wanted to make an offer on a property I got no response. The lead realtor was rude. I changed realtor and I'm waiting for my new build home to be ready. I would never use them again.

I'm located in Illinois and utilized Zillow and Rent.com through Redfin to promote my rental property. I incurred no cost with Zillow, while I paid $99.99 to Rent.com. Zillow generated 33 leads within a week, whereas Rent.com resulted in only 2 leases. I strongly endorse Zillow based on my positive experience.
Redfin gets a ZERO from us
Redfin gets a ZERO from us. We are closing on a home tomorrow (our 10th) and the Redfin agent was of no help. Couldn't care less about us, did not help with negotiations, was unresponsive from contract signing until today. They are not commission based and have no interest in getting the best deal... only getting A deal. Told us to accept a 3K price reduction or "You'll make the seller unhappy." We bypassed him and dealt directly with the seller's agent. Got a $25k reduction. Never, never again. The only positive was the ease of making showing appt. However, it's just not worth it. Always deal with an Agent who works on commission. They care about referrals, want happy customers and it costs the same! Redfin agents don't need referrals (they come from Redfin) so they don't care about the customer being satisfied. Never, never, never again.
Fake initial offer
Fake initial offer. I was ready for up to $100,000 deduction for repairs. They had an inspector and photographer come out at their expense. However before even deducting repairs they reduced the initial offer by more then $90,000. Did not cost me any money but wasted 3 weeks.
I was blocked from looking for homes in…
I was blocked from looking for homes in my own province by redfin! I found out about some realtors that are caught up in a scam called (steering) to make big money for themselves. I know most of they're names and just waiting to find out more. I have a excellent lawyer and I will be reporting them to the CREA. Stay tuned on what's going to happen.
Quick but Terrible experience.
Should've listened to the reviews saying bait and switch, thankfully they were very quick with their offer so I didn't waste too much time. Quoted $1.475M for my house, repairs came out to $34k which was a lot, but I thought it would be fine to continue to go with them because of convenience. Then I was told they re-assesed the property and was quoted $1.35M not including the $34k in repairs. Also, this whole process took about 5 days, so basically within 5 days, they said my home went down in value by $160k lol. Decided to go with a local realtor.
Absurd incorrect offer, 40% under Redfin's own estimate
I had been very impressed with Redfin the website and with Redfin agent's I've spoken with, both to sell and purchase a home.
However the RedfinNow process has been atrocious and destroyed any positive impression I had of the company.
1st - they wouldn't provide any offer at all until a video call was scheduled. That is always a bad sign. Pressure selling and trying to deliver bad news in the best light.
2nd - Their RedfinNow representative sounded like a call center scammy sales person rather than an intelligent knowledgeable real estate professional.
3rd - Most egregious. Their offer. I can only assume it was a mistake. Their price was 20% below even RedFinNow's own price range before fees and repairs, and 30-40% below Redfin's own estimate of our home value. Our area has seen explosive price appreciation over the last two years. They claim they had to look at 2 year old comps. Makes no sense. Even our 5 year old tax valuation was higher than their offer.
It has destroyed my impression of Redfin. You cannot rely on information from them. Do your own research and due diligence. Redfin Now is by FAR the worst. We've dealt with Opendoor and OfferPad. They both have more reasonable value estimates and sound more professional and less scammy on the phone.
Redfin was Great!
We recently assisted my elderly mother sell her home. We spoke to a few local traditional realtors but didn't find anyone we liked. We took a gamble and reached out to Redfin. It was a great experience, they helped us through every step.

Got a call from Scott out of their…
Got a call “After” my scheduled appointments with Sellers Agents ( Friday April 12,2019 with Katie, April 13 2019 with Kelly and Greg on April 15,2019) that were missed or canceled by Scott out of their Tempe Arizona Office on Sunday ( April 14,2019) refusing services and to interview & hire one of the 3 agents in Peoria Arizona. I was wanting to do my due diligence before hire an realtor. Which everyone should do!!! Right??? What do you have to hind??? Scott states he did Not want me to interview the agents from his company before Hiring One. Was Very rude.....
I am filling a complaint with the Arizona Realtor Board, with the Attorney General Office for discrimination, and the Disability Act of Arizona.
Once again....... I never met Scott or any agent from Redfin!!! Maybe check out “ Purple Bricks Company “ instead. They offer the same services but maybe won’t discriminate???? More professional. Not Shady????
