Kamil Charzynksi- Instructor
I would highly recommend Kamil Charzynksi to anyone learning to drive in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. He was reliable, supportive, and confident in me from the very beginning. He always gave helpful tips and took the time to go through each lesson’s progress clearly, which really helped me improve. He’s calm, patient, and very friendly, which made every lesson enjoyable. Thanks to his guidance, I became a confident and capable driver and felt fully prepared for my test. I’m very happy to have passed within the four months I set as my goal.

Really nice Driving Instructor
Met one of RED driving instructors outside the SALE Test Centre today 8 am. His student was doing a test. We only went to see how things work as my family friend son had a test this Wednesday in his own car. The instructor from RED was fantastic gave us so many tips even though we were not his student. It so refreshing that there are people like this. It a shame I didn’t get his name as he definitely needed a shout out. He is a credit to you organisation.

Dangerous driving under instruction!
An instructor allowed a student driver to dangerously overtake me while I was on a scooter. When asking for the dash cam footage and complaining, they told me it was not available due to the length of time since contacting them, which was less than one week!
Terrible customer service and their instructors are clearly not up to the job. Go with someone local and reliable, not a lunatic hiding behind a company that won’t hold them to account.

I passed my test first time today in Mitcham test centre all thanks to the amazing Biniam Brhane I can’t thank him enough! Not only does he know how to adapt to your style of learning he’s extremely patient. He had just over 4 months to get me test ready with a lot of emotions and ups and downs he always made sure to see the positives out of every lesson. So to anyone in and around that area I highly recommend to ask for him, I’ll miss our weekly lessons!

Iam super grateful for all the tips and knowledge that he has given me during my time learning to drive and helping me make this pass happen, 100% recommend him, especially for highly nervous learners like myself.

I did my driving lessons with Andrew. He helped me achieve a pass within 3 months of starting lessons with him. His teaching was fun and supportive. I couldn’t recommend a better instructor for the task of achieving your full UK driving license.

Aron, the saviour
after failing my first test, a friend of mine recommended me Aron, who i can confidently say is the best driving instructor out there. The difference between him and my first instructor is tremendous, he is very calm with you, no awkwardness during lessons, visually shows you what to do in different scenarios and most importantly he teaches you HOW TO PASS. I give my full credit to him being the reason i passed yesterday and couldn’t reccomend him more.

Great Coach - Cherag Miah
My coach, Cherag Miah, has been nothing but great so far. I really appreciate his patience and practical attitude to lessons. As someone who struggles with being asked or told many auditory imputes (especially in an environment that requires a lot of concentration), I find his directions and teaching style very helpful.
I would highly recommend.

Driving Lessons with Andrew Cowell
I did my lessons with Andrew Cowell (based around the Reading area). Great instructor and very reassuring which helped with my confidence in driving. He also gives helpful feedback on what I should pay attention on improving every lesson which definitely helped me pass. Very chill guy would recommend booking lessons with him.

Laura M in Aberdeen
Laura M in Aberdeen is the most phenomenal driving instructor there is.
After MANY hours of driving lessons for over a year with my previous instructor and no real progress, I had to look for a new instructor. I finally signed up to Red, and Laura came up as an instructor available in my area.
After just a month with Laura, my partner told me he didn't fear for his life anymore when I drove. And a few months later, I passed my test.
She was incredibly patient with little anxious me. Anything I did not understand, she would either explain to me or show me with the tools she had. She had the most creative ways - from stickers to toy cars to videos. When I made mistakes, she would analyse it, walk me through it, allow me to redo it and do it right.
Laura really would go above and beyond for her learners. And teaching beside, she was also amazing company and had a brilliant sense of humour.
I have my license now, and have my independence back, driving my tiny elderly Suzuki around, and it's all thanks to Laura.

My experience with RED Driving School has been extremely disappointing.
I have been driving abroad for over 15 years and already had extensive driving experience before taking lessons with RED.
The lessons were not because I needed to learn how to drive from scratch, they were primarily to familiarise myself with UK driving standards and most importantly, to have an instructor and a suitable vehicle for my driving test.
Unfortunately, just before my test, my instructor informed me that he would be undergoing surgery and would be unavailable for at least two weeks, meaning he could no longer accompany me to my driving test.
While I genuinely sympathise with anyone experiencing health issues and wish my instructor a full recovery, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of contingency planning and support from RED. When a student has invested considerable time and money preparing for a test, there should be a clear process for attempting to arrange an alternative instructor, particularly when the cancellation is due to circumstances entirely outside the student's control.
Instead, I was left to contact customer services myself in the hope of finding another instructor at very short notice. There was no proactive assistance, no meaningful effort to minimise the disruption, and no reassurance that RED would help resolve a situation that has left me at risk of losing my test date.
As someone who already had years of driving experience, the main value of these lessons was securing an instructor and vehicle for the practical test. Now, despite investing my time and money with RED, I find myself in exactly the position I was trying to avoid, without an instructor for my test and facing the possibility that much of that investment has been wasted.
I fully understand that unexpected illness cannot always be avoided.
However, the true measure of a company is how it supports its customers when unforeseen circumstances arise. In my experience, RED failed to provide the level of customer care and professionalism I expected from a national driving school.
I hope RED reviews its policies so that future students are not left scrambling to find an instructor days before their test after placing their trust in the company.
