Do not sell to this company. No communication. When you ring up they answer the phone as if they have no idea what they are doing then dismiss the call. Have not paid out for my device and now I’m forced to take to small claims court. I have checked with companies house and they have 1 employee and their accounts do not look great.

Is this a scam website ? They’ve had my headset for 3 working days !! No same day payout as advertised !! Absolutely zero communication.. and won’t reply to Emails or answer your calls. I appreciate it has to be tested.. But Geez, they’ve got your goods and your bank account details. Instead of reassurance with the process your filled with doubt that you’ve been scammed !! Avoid at your own risk !!

I ordered a refurb laptop from Recycle Pro via Backmarket. I have had very smooth experiences with Backmarket before, so I wasn’t concerned. However, I realised over the weekend that the tracking information assigned to my order was not correct, and seemingly my laptop (or whoever’s parcel it was) was heading to a completely different destination.

You’d think this is something that could be figured out from a quick phone call, but Recycle Pro never answer the phone, don’t respond to messages or emails and left me having to navigate the joys of modern AI customer service, looking for answers via Backmarket and the courier, TNT.

Before receiving any sort of specific update or follow up information and without prompt, Backmarket refunded the full payment and seemed to think this was a sufficient end to the matter.

I still have no idea what happened here or why. Where is the specific laptop that I spent ages researching and choosing? I think the reality is either Recycle Pro are a scam, or they accidentally sent my laptop to the wrong address. Either way, the fact that they couldn’t be bothered to answer calls or respond to emails is enough for me to advise people against using them.

I am now also hesitant to use Backmarket again, which is a shame.

Definitely a scam sent in a laptop last week not heard anything from them sent in about 5 6 emails and phoned them and not heard anything from them definitely sell your devices anywhere else

These people do not pay out the same day as they receive your item, the get your item and don't pay you or contact you at all. They don't answer messages or answer the phone at all. I have contacted Trading Standards as they have breached their contract, they stipulate that they pay the same day they receive the item unlike the others, they don't detail any exceptions in their Terms & Conditions. The fact that people on here say the customer service is great is beyond me, there isn't any.... I've not been able to speak to a soul. It makes me think that they are talking about a different company or they aren't real?

Sent 2 phones back on Monday, received money in my bank account on Wednesday AND gave me extra £8 because I had incorrectly identified one of the mobiles

I have used Recycle Pro several times now to sell Garmin watches, an Apple Watch and an iPad. I find their communication to be excellent and payment is prompt, keeping me informed throughout the process which is efficient and easy. They even honoured a quotation for an item that went missing in the post on its way to them using their Royal Mail service. I recommend them.

I cannot find fault with this company at all. What they promised, they did. Excellent service, quick and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.

They accept non mainstream phones, which is better than most other phone sites.
The service was fast and the price offered for the unit was good. Prompt payout to PayPal, which many other sites also don't offer.
Will use again, very happy.

I sent my Nothing Phone 2a for trade in on 18th March & have heard nothing from Recycle Pro. I have since come to learn that my parcel was lost at Birmingham Central Post Office & the company are making a claim and paying me the agreed fee as a gesture of good will.

Recycled my phone. Great price and great service. Couple of days and sorted with money in my bank. Would recomend

Sold my Mum's old Realme 7 Pro and my partner's Oppo A72.

Both in immaculate condition, but these guys didn't send one single stupid question. Just an email to confirm receipt (and that they're being looked at by their tech guys), followed by another advising payment had been made.

Could not ask for a smoother process.

Order processed within a few days of receipt and paid what was quoted. However, no one responds to their online chat function or picks up the phone when calling.

Michael is so great, personable and very helpful. If you're in need of getting rid of stuff, I highly recommend calling Recycle Pro's. They respond quickly, so you can use the newly freed up space.

Sent off phone in perfect condition. Heard nothing for over 2 weeks then get an email saying that there are deep scratches on the back of phone with photo proof. I also have photo proof of the back of phone in pristine condition.
Would strongly urge anyone considering using recyclepro to find another reputable company and avoid these scammers, who damage your phone to pay you less than agreed

Do not use them I've been with O2 for nearly 15 years I went to upgrade my phone in their Mansfield branch who were really good. I'm disabled and have two contracts with them I was told I could recycle my old hand set and receive 145 pounds for it as it was after they had looked at it in branch in A1 condition so I did this after I was in hospital for a short time and during this was sent a text saying they had now found a fault with my handset and they would now give e me 46 pounds and some pence for it due to me being in hospital I couldn't see nor reply to this text t if I had I'd of asked for my handset back and sold it privately or indeed given it to one of my friends, I contacted them today to ask what had happened to the money 145 pounds to be told I have been given enough 29pounds for the hand set and they are unprepared to do anything else as it's not their policy. I offered them the £29 back and asked them to return my handset as its not worth anything to them to be told this is not an option due to their policy, please do not be CONNED do not use this service.
