Very very very slow payment......

As the previous post implies on both occasions I had to chase them to get my money - this last time it took nearly four weeks to get the money out of them ( although promised as of today I still have not received it)
so they may offer the best rates but the payment is so slow as to be snail paced - you should not have to phone up five times to get them to send your money!!!

Waiting for payment

Recyclemymobile received my phone on 19th July and I was promised a cheque for £106.00 for my phone. Up to now I have received no cheque despite their website saying they would send the cheque out within 5 days of receiving my phone. I have tried every day for the last 3 weeks to phone them and nobody ever answers the phone. I havesentl e mails to them but as yet they remain unanswered. If you are thinking of sending them your phone I would seriously think twice before you do. They might be offering you a good price but it will take you ages if at all to get your money.

Still awaiting payment 3 months later...

A month after I received an e-mail confirming the receipt of my phone there was still no sign of payment so I e-mailed them, chasing payment. I received a reply from Mark, who apologised and said he'd send the cheque. Another month later there was still no sign of payment, so I e-mailed again. This time there was no reply.

Another month later, and I have been ringing their office at various times throughout the day. No one answers.

For such a petty amount of money I have wasted far too much time chasing payment. Absolute joke of a company, avoid at all costs.

1 star is generous.

Still awaiting payment!!!

Having read alot of these reviews I can now assume I too am being mugged off. No reply to my email. Not answering the phone during their 'open' hours. I know they recieved my phone 2 weeks ago now and it's all gone surprisingly quiet.....

Legal action will ensue if it has not been dealt with by the end of this week.

Scam

My experience is that its just a scam to get you to pay for their 'engineers' time, who concludes that your perfectly good phone is faulty in some way (mine is apparently barred on all networks - funny that cause I use it on O2 all the time).

Waiting forever

After 16 days waiting for my cheque I have just been informed they will despatch my payment within the next 48 hours and I have to allow up to 5 days for it to arrive. Unfortunately it is £9.00 less than the agreed price. I will never use them again.

Lost my package - Then found it and couldn't make payment!

Luckily I sent my phone tracked or else I don't think they ever would have 'found' it, but once I sent my tracking number they said they'd send out a payment.
They would not give me a quote for it and whenever I asked by email they kept dodging the question. Eventually though we agreed on a price and the payment was supposed to be processed and go into my paypal within 24 hours. Well, I waited just under a week and still no money. So I emailed them again and they didn't understand why it never went through and sent a £1 'test' through to my account which I DID receive. So I am now waiting on the full payment which they will hopefully send - Still its over a month since I first sent my phone to them and I have a feeling that if it wasn't tracked it would have never been found...

I didn't get proof of postage... and lo and beyond, my package "never arrived"...

Sent them my Blackberry Curve, which was in excellent condition, together with a number of additional unused bits and pieces and documentation that came with the phone in the original box. Guess what... apparently "it never arrived". What are the chances of that? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They can tell when the pre-paid envelope arrives whether or not you have taken it to the Post Office to have it tracked. If you haven't (like me...) then the chances are they will use the scam that "it never arrived" and you haven't a leg to stand on.

They pay slightly over the odds on comparison websites and I can remember thinking at the time that I should go to O2, or some company that has a better reputation. But... that promise of an extra couple of quid lures you in..

I would be interested to know if anyone else has had the same experience??

Very bad service. Large delay in sending payment,

All that seems to good to be true usually is too good to be true. Been waiting over 3 weeks now for the money to arrive. Phone was received by them before the end of March. The company made some excuse that they cant send the cheques all out at once, sounds like a cashflow problem to me.

UPDATE.

The owner Mark went out of his way to put my money in the bank within an hour of him learning of my problem, I have revised my original review to reflect the good handling albeit late of the person in charge,

Thumbs up for better service after a bad start.
