Beecraigs with Real World Riding…

This was my fourth time on a coaching session with Real World Riding. The previous sessions were group events, this time I booked a 1 to 1 session.
Steve is an absoulutely fantastic coach, very patient and able to recognise errors in technique and work through how to rectify issues. He also is very keen to make sure you enjoy your day. I've booked another session next month and can't wait. Thanks again Steve for a great day

Had a 1-2-1 coaching day at cathkin…

Had a 1-2-1 coaching day at cathkin braes with Steve. I asked Steve to totally strip it back and start from the beginning with my riding. Explained everything really well and broke everything down perfectly. Feel like I improved already, now to crack on with the home work. 5 ⭐️ from me.

Mtb enduro practice

We booked Steve for a full days bespoke enduro race practice, we worked on body position, corners, braking and line choice, Steve is really insightful and was able to point us in the right direction and help us with our objective. Would definitely recommend him and I’m sure we’ll use him again either for coaching or guiding

full day 1-1 MTB coaching

I booked a full day 1-1 MTB coaching with Steve after seeing some of his reviews on Facebook and engaging via email to discuss my needs. We agreed to meet at Glentress and while a whole day seemed a bit daunting I wasn’t disappointed: Steve is endlessly patient and while he will test you, he never pushes you beyond your limitations. There was quite a bit of discussion around my skills and experience before even starting, with the day going at a pace that suited me. There’s a lot of psychology involved as well as the technical aspects and Steve excels in both. I definitely achieved more than I thought possible during a hugely enjoyable day, with Steve keen to stress it was my day and important that I enjoyed it. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend RWR for beginners, intermediate or more experienced riders, would definitely consider booking again.

Great course!

Highly recommend this course, and Steve. I’m definitely not a natural biker and was booked on the course by my husband (who is a keen biker). The course with Steve was fab and I really enjoyed it. Small group numbers meant it was not intimidating in any way. Day was structured logically, with a gradual build up of skills and then putting those skills into practice on the trails. It was a really good foundation to begin biking. If you’ve always wanted to try mountain biking but weren’t sure where to start then this is the course for you!!

Attended an open group training session…

Attended an open group training session on mountain bike fundamentals. Steve was great, gave lots of information, answered loads of questions, demonstrated techniques carefully and build up gradually from basic to more complex stuff.
I got more than I was expecting from the day and wouldn't hesitate to attend another course or recommend it to others.
