Removalists who cannot fit 20sqm of stuff into a 36sqm storage space
Started with two removalists for a two bedroom apartment move. Then one of them suggested getting a third man and I said I would help instead- & I subsequently jarred my shoulder dping so. Then one of the removalist decided to call in a replacement ( as he had slipped and his back hurt) and they waited for that, while I kept loading. When the change over came, the replacement was haphazard and a couple of plastic containers were dropped from the truck and the contents spread out.on the entrance to the storage shed. But most surprising is that 20sqm metres of stuff packed into the truck could not fit into a 36sqm storage space. They left the big items last, leaving little room. In the end I asked what I should do with stuff that didnt fit, and they suggested I take it a friends place and store it there. They did offer to take everyrhing out and repack it, but they would chsrge another hour & a half. They were pretty rough, the thick plastic covering on my matress was torn in a number of places as they shoved the mattress between chair legs and table corners. Next day I spent 3 hours repacking the storage space( took video & will post to you tube ). It cost me $620 call out fee and 7 hours at $310 p/h, not to mention my shoulder and three hours of my time restacking the storage space.

If I could put no starts I would! Avoid all costs!
If I could put no stars I would! Avoid this company with all costs. Damaged my fridge before it got out the door of my property, packed everything on top of my dining room table completely smashed the legs off it. Day scheduled for my stuff to arrive it never turned up! no communication at all. So I had to wait another week or more so that cost me more money as I had to wash our clothes at the laundry mat which was $16 per load.
They damaged so much of my goods. They dented my fridge before it left my house. Scratches and dents on my washing machine and dryer, hole rubbed through wool rug. Legs completely smashed off my dining room table because everything was stacked on top of it, damage to my bed head and frame. Shed trolley wheels completely squashed. Every corner of my queen mattress has damage.
The men unpacking the container were rushing so fast I couldn’t keep up with them, I didn’t have time to check everything properly until they had left. I do not recommend this company. And out of Goodwill, all they will cover is part reimbursement of my table being fixed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
