Great customer service and the models look amazing. Really happy with my order-thank you :)
I have had several Warhammer: The Old World armies painted via Ravens nest as well as a Bolt Action army and some Eldar for 40k. In every case they are attentive and helpful, the armies look fantastic and they tolerate my lack of patience extremely well, replying to my many emails quickly and efficiently. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
The team were attentive and helpful to my requests, and worked hard to capture the nuances right of what I asked for. The model looks fantastic and the entire process was easy.
Him and his employees feel they have every right to talk down to you. They will call you stupid for having your own thoughts and tell you, that you have to much time on your hands so you’re a conspiracy theorist. Don’t worry even if you’re calm they will still call you stupid!
Cute reply you left out how I said “talk to your employee” but no right your so right calling people stupid is the right thing to do.
Your employees exact words “lol people like you have so little do in your lives you say stupid nonsense like this”. Promoting that kind of behavior when working with the public is shameful. I never suggested phsycial violience I just said no one would miss someone who hates one people for no reason. Wild how you wanna turn it around but keep in mind I screenshotted everything. Meaning you tryna twist my words wont work. Its kinda sad you reasult to shaming people online to get visits to your site!!
Even better the owner came onto my personal account to try and create a post to defame and shame me even more for his employee being an ****** so yeah hats the guys your working with. Anything but good people

Excellent painting services! I have used the company twice now and both times they have delivered an extremely high-quality service.
Matt, Jess and the artist Paul smashed it out of the park. I love this company and will definitely use them again.
I ordered a large Grey Knights commission with lots of specific requests for conversions and magnetisation. I was also extremely specific about weapons, poses and themes.
So some specifics about the order and why I think it was delivered to a five-star standard.
Quote. I requested the commission online. I used there form and also the warhammer 40K app to specify the load out. I also sent specific notes on basing etc. I estimated a rough cost based on their pricing system but actually the quote come back in slightly better than expected. Because of the size of the order they also offered me some carry cases which I took them up on (to my surprise later they were actually comped by Ravens Nest which I really appreciated).
Service and Communication. I have to say, everything with Ravens Nest was very clear. They expressed a timeline, when it was slightly delayed (the artist injured his hand during the commission) they explained the delay and offered work arounds. I told them I was happy with the delay and we continued as normal. The artist was brilliant at communicating and clarifying. He routinely sent me photos and progress as and when needed. He asked questions if he was unsure and if something I wanted didn’t quite make sense, he offered alternatives (all of which were better than I had initially requested). The service and communication was fantastic throughout.
Timeliness. Because of the size of my commission I wasn’t expecting it fast. What was great about the team is they expressed the waiting time to start my commission due to other customers being ahead of me in the queue. They then expressed an estimated time of the work being completed. And as it progressed they gave me updates. Overall, I’m really happy with the timeline which was only marginally longer than initially quoted. I also added some of the delay myself as I was away and asked for postage over the weekend which the team were more than happy to accommodate.
Standard of Work. So, this is the best bit. I ordered level 2 high tabletop and basic basing (I don’t like fussy bases) as it was the one advised on the website……….. it’s way, way better than expected. I could not be happier. The artist was exceptional.
Delivery. Thanks to the cases provided by the team, my models arrived in brilliant condition through special delivery the day after they told me it was posted. Perfect. They passed the tracking details and packaged the models really well. I had one minor damaged piece of a very delicate iron halo on my dread knight but it was a clean break and easily glued in second (I had over 120 models, three tanks, five dreadnoughts and a knight - one minor break is exceptional). If you’ve played the game you know this is just part of like on the tabletop and nothing I didn't expect. Overall, the packaging, especially thanks to the very kind promotional gift cases, was brilliant. The team took the time to custom areas for my models meaning that there was as little movement in the cases as possible. The cases I was given were the dreadnaught tyrant cases and they are brilliant.
Overall. I’m an extremely happy customer and will definitely use this company again. Without question.
Thank you Matt, Jess and Paul.
Matt and jess have been very helpful throughout the whole process, from the initial qoute to final product.
The commissions speak for themselves, the work is outstanding. They send updates on the progress and helpful if you have any questions.
The timeline was a little longer than expected, but Matt did explain the reasons behind it. Overall very happy with the experience from ravens nest!
- UPDATE -
I would like to write although my review is genuine and a true reflection of my time with raven nest, since posting my review Raven nest has reached out. I have received an apology, an explanation to some of my points and feel very pleased that raven nest are doing what they can to rectify the situation. Because of this I am happy to say I will higher my review stars, and would consider working with them in the future one again.
I decided when I wanted to get my miniatures professionally painted that I would use Raven nest. After doing some research I was impressed with the website, and found the pricing to be reasonable so I enquired about my first commission piece. To start the communication was very good, and from the beginning I thought overall what a good experience. After being pleased with the results I got more pieces commissioned through them, sadly this is where it started to go wrong with the time frame batchs was 4 and 5 were both overdue buy a longer period then originally however batch 5 reasons have been made clear and I now had an apology for batch 4
Overall, started very promising but as time went on the commitment from Ravennest slipped This is highly disappointing because I would rate the quality of the paintwork very high and would recommend. Its just time frame that has put me off a little
I placed an order with Raven's Nest which was initially a little slow to get started due to availability. I had some concerns later on when the work was being finalised as there were further delays and a lack of updates.
However once Matt was made aware of this, the reason for the delays was fully explained to me and he did everything he could to rectify by way of frequent updates, a discount and even an additional gift.
Models were received today and I am very pleased with them. All was as shown in the photos sent throughout the work and arrived safe in perfect condition.
While the overall delay was unfortunate I do believe this was an exception and I would be happy to use them again in the future.

If you're scanning the web trying to work out which studio to use, stop now and email Raven's Nest.
First off, the quality of the final product and skill of the artist is exceptional. I am thrilled with the results and I'm already looking forward to being smug in front of my mates. My miniatures are even better than I had hoped.
Great communication with the allocated artist (Paul, in my case), including regular picture updates and conversations to ensure they get the style, intent and details right. I was happy to wait slightly longer than I thought, because I was kept well informed throughout.
Finally, the prices are mega competitive, easily beating some of the other studios that might be closer to the top of your Google results. Simply put, I have another batch of minis that will be going straight to Raven's Nest, and wouldn't bother looking elsewhere.
I never left a review before the service these guys provide deserves it.
So first things first as its the only reason you'll read a review, the quality Is 110% there! I wouldn't go else where after using these guys.(just for context I had all thousand sons characters and 30 rubrics and terminators done and each and everyone of them done to the same great standard)
Communication was easy and open, it took about a week or two between emails but that's is a bit below the waste as I was informed the person in charge of admin was ill so I had no problem with that.
I found for what I had done the price was good compared to other quote's I got back and after slowly seeing them come along bit by bit through the updates at each stage I was able to make slight adjustments as to what was done so to capture the end result I was after and the adjustments were always taken on without a problem, even after I changed the base scheme twice it.
All in all an absolutely amazing service and completely worth it!
got some commander units at level 3 to serve as centrepieces of my army and they look incredible, will defiantly be using them again.
Just received my first commission from the team at Ravens nest and couldn't be happier. The models received were absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to use them. The team are responsive and helpful and kept me updated along the way. My models arrived in perfect condition and great care was used in packaging them. Will definitely use Ravens nest again.
