Rapid Travel Money Reviews 

This is the first time I’ve used this company but I used them this time as their exchange rate was good. Their website was easy to use and I had no problems. The currency arrived in the morning on my selected date. There were a mix of different value notes even though I forgot to request specific notes. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them.

This company had one of the strongest exchange rates at the time I was looking and so I went with them. It was quite daunting to actually spend that much money and to do it via bank transfer (option is also there to pay via card), I did it quite late too so my transaction was showing as pending. It was good to have an account set up as I could see what what was happening and I got an email the next day to say that my transaction was confirmed. You can ask for any notes you want and can specify the date you'd like to receive the money. It came the day I'd asked and it was sent special delivery. Pretty decent company to use.

Simple, straightforward service offering good exchange rates. When I had a query (see below) it was dealt with by an intelligible Brit who was polite and helpful, rather than a remote subcontinental call centre. Thoroughly recommended.
Take care when ordering a large amount of currency. There is a daily limit and if this is exceeded the screen just freezes, without a warning message stating the limit: something they need to put right.

I have used Rapid Travel Money (RTM) several times in the past and always received very good rates and great service. However on this occasion, whilst I got good rates, I selected a delivery date of 27th July, knowing that I would not be home on the 26th, 28th and 29th. I received the delivery email confirming GUARANTEED delivery by 1pm on the 27th. However, it did not arrive as GUARANTEED and I won't be home tomorrow or Thursday to take delivery. I will now, most probably, have to pick it up from the post office or wait until RTM contact me to let me know how/when I can take receipt.

This is the second year I have used RTM, I needed quite a large amount this year in two orders. This was one of the best rates I could find. It's always slightly unnerving sending a large amount by bank transfer, but I received immeadiate confirmation of both transactions and the currency arrived exactly as promised.

I ordered £1500 worth of Turkish Lira from Rapid Travel Money, the rate of exchange was fantastic, the website was easy to use and delivery was on my chosen date, more importantly it was safe and secure and I will most definitely use the company again.
