Yet another scamming Esim service
I purchased an unlimited 10 day Esim profile from Rapidsim, received the QR code and loaded it. The profile connected to the Orange Network here in France. Unlimited was a joke, when in or near a city speeds were good, on 5g 150meg+ - in rural France and many campsite, 4g only with speeds ranging from 200kbps to 750kbps, that's correct, not even 1meg.
I contacted tech support, their reply, 'Everything is fine on our side' well that maybe so but they were not on my side, no resolution? I eventually had to purchase a local pay as you go standard sim to fill in the times RAPIDsim was unusable! Over the 10 day period I used approximately 10gig, an expensive 10gig.
At the end of the 10 days, I topped up for another 10 days, you would think I had learned my lesson!
This time the top up didn't work and created a new profile despite following the top up instructions. Tech support had to resolve the issue.
My mobile was having issues and had to be factory reset, following this the profile would not load, I contacted tech support, and have been stonewalled by them, no response, I have emailed them on 4 occasions and am being ghosted.
Refund my money immediately! stop scamming honest people.

The eSIM you received was valid and successfully activated, as confirmed in our system and through our support team.
Regarding the network speed, please note that performance can vary depending on location, coverage, and local infrastructure — especially in rural areas, which are often subject to weaker 4G signals regardless of the provider.
You used approximately 10GB, which aligns with normal usage for a 10-day "unlimited" plan. As explained in our policy, "unlimited" plans may be subject to fair usage, and speeds can be deprioritized depending on network congestion — especially with local roaming partners like Orange France.
When your phone was reset, this automatically deleted the eSIM, which is a technical limitation of all eSIMs, not just ours. In such cases, a new eSIM must be issued, which we did.
Our support team responded and provided a solution regarding your second eSIM. If you haven’t received a reply since your last email, we encourage you to check your spam folder or resend your message — we never intentionally ignore a customer.
We remain at your disposal to investigate further or to assist you if something is still pending.

eSim - did not work, ghosted me
Bought an eSim from them that did not work. Kept getting an error despite following all the right configuration. (Is simple enough, have set up and used many other eSims).
Reported the error. No resolution.
Asked for a refund. They ghosted me.
Wrote a review on their website. It's hidden/doesn't show.
Update:
1. Despite claiming to have made a refund I have not received any refund.
2. If they can identify the problem now, months after me reaching out to them (when I actually needed the help), they could have identified the problem back then, and resolved it.

eSim did not work and request for refund ignored
I set up the sim (as I have done with previous eSims). It is usually fairly simple. I am in IT so such configuration is easy for me.
However the sim did not work. I communicated over several days on email eventually asking for a refund. The response went in circles, never addressing the issue and ignored my eventual requests for a refund.
I wrote a review of my negative experience on their website...but this was never displayed (my guess is they do not display negative reviews).
I eventually had to pay for a local physical sim.
I do not recommend them. Plenty of other good service providers out there.

They sent me e-sim which is already used at some other device so I could not activate it. They didn't want to send me normal unused e-sim- they didnt offer me any explanation. AVOID THIS PROVIDER!!

I never received my esim. I placed my order in May 2024. In July I reached out to them asking about my order, and even though the order status on their site was showing 'confirmed/you *will* receive your esim' the service representative kept asking me to check my spam folder. after a few back and forth messages with the support rep, I asked for a refund, after which they stopped responding. basically they stole from me $35 and some precious time. Simply avoid them.
