Poor customer service experience

This company is big on automated customer service; emails, promotions, etc.
But actual customer service? Not so much. Waited a week and a half for an order to be shipped. Their promised dispatch date came and went without any updates. They are very slow to respond to emails. Too slow. Shop elsewhere!

Ramp champ company bad organisation and promises.

I think I have already written a review on this company but was awaiting a answer so I will start again. I purchased a ramp made by Ramp champ company and the boss name was Matt. I waited on and off for four months maybe longer complaining that the company made it so high by mistake that the door would not open. At their cost He said finally, they sent people to look at it while I was not home, and once when I was. He had it shaved it down slightly but still the door would not open. The boss was promised to ring me, I was told, but never did until I got a phone call while I was at the Doctors which I couldn't take and told him I would not be home at this time. He was always to busy to take my phone calls. I did get some one to measure the ramp on. My behalf, as I could not get on the floor. Part of my disability. That was the plan that was sent to the company. But because they made it too high even further 9cms, it sides became like cliffs, they were suppose to be a slant from. The door to The flat concrete. there was no way around fixing it unless the company would take it back and have it properly shaved back from the 2nd company who made it. It was so heavy as it was made with steel so it could not move. The guy delivered with a portable fork lift. All I asked for, was them to fix it or replace it.or I would go to the media but I think here might get to more people. The last phone call I got from Matt the only call ever from him after promising heaps of call backs was he would only give me a discount on another one. What am I suppose to do with this enormous ramp stuck on my porch and could not move when they could have shave it back. I would have been willing to pay the travel as well as it was partly measured wrong by a company man I asked for help. It would have been cheaper to take it back and shave it to the right height instead of sending people to do nothing.which would have been the right thing to do as they made it wrong too. They should fix a problem they stuffed in the first place. And he cried poor by saying he was a small family business etc. All companies have insurance for these types of things and this ramp took up half of my verander with no way of moving it. People were tripping over it and I informed the company this, as they had moved it into a dangerous position. I had people look at it and said they can't do anything, they didn't know what to cut it with, and the guy who was suppose to shave it said it was going to break the motor of his appliance a planner, and he had another job. He was late to my job. So now I was stuck with a large rubber ramp which could not be used and could not be moved. . I had a friend who said he would try but can't guarantee his work and I said go for it as the company refuses to help. And with his help and the help of GOD he managed to get it so the door would open. Now I have a ramp which isn't perfect but at least it's better than what the company did. I should probably have gone to some where like the media or legal aid. Which I. Threatened with he didn't care. These companies are getting away with murder and picking on the nicest disability people who can't deal with stuff like this. But I found this site and it I hope would go around the world. Make sure you DONT let them make you a ramp. Buy a ready made one. I couldn't because of my disability I needed specific type. As you will be sorry if you get them to do it. . They are so friendly to get your money and they give it to some other place to cut it. So you are fighting two company's. I have learnt the hard way. I found a handy man site from Ndis but they charge just as much as normal companies. The thing they have going for them is they deal with the govt. Hoping it's a true company The old saying is so true. "BUYER BEWARE" and always buy ready made. I have an old house and needed a size that could not be bought. From now on I will only buy what I can trial it but or ready made. It's not like the old days who begged for the job and did a great work and fixed their mistakes. These days it's let get the money and that's the end if it, no help even if it's their mistake and also saying they have a measure amount they can be higher or lower than the original plan. It was the amount the company made the mistake by, funny that hey. And I know it's a lie as I had a problem with a builder for doing my kitchen.and my wheel chair paid for by Ndis. So I am NEVER going to buy what's not in front if me. Hope you do the same. Thanks for reading my problem. It's a warning for you.
