The parcel didn’t arrive on time for the occasion. It was not delivered and asked to collect from post office which was not made clear at the time of order. A bit disappointed that it was arrived on Friday and post office is closed over the weekend.

Usually, Australia Post delivers directly to your address, but if no one is home to receive the parcel, they leave it at the nearest post office for collection.
Your parcel is currently available for pickup at Gosnells Post Shop, open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Alternatively, you can contact Australia Post to arrange redelivery at your convenience.

Thank you for your feedback. We checked our system and found that your order was placed on 2nd August with the standard 5–6 working day delivery option. As 2nd was Saturday and 3rd was Sunday, your parcel was picked up by Australia Post on 4th August. Based on the selected service, the expected delivery date was 11th–12th August.
For urgent occasions, we do offer Express Delivery (2–3 days), which was not selected for this order. We hope this helps clarify the timeline. We truly value your support, and if possible, we’d appreciate it if you could update your review as it has a big impact on small businesses like ours.

Never had in issues in past but this time rather delivering it to the address it was kept for pick up and rakhi got delayed as my family could not go as they were working. Would have appreciated if it would be delivered at home rather than pick up.

We understand your disappointment about the parcel being sent to the post office for collection instead of being delivered directly. However, there are a few factors we’d like to clarify:
As you mentioned, your brother was working during the day, which meant no one was home to receive the delivery. In such cases, Australia Post cannot leave the parcel unattended.
Your order was large and could not fit in the mailbox.
Since your brother lives in a unit, Australia Post cannot leave parcels outside the door due to the risk of theft.
These procedures are in place for customer security, and they work in a similar way to New Zealand Post’s delivery process.
You’ve mentioned that you have never had issues in the past, which means your experience with us has generally been positive. We kindly request, if you feel our explanation addresses your concern, that you consider updating your rating to reflect your overall satisfaction, as reviews have a big impact on small businesses like ours.
