I did the metal enamel jewellery making course on 29/5/25 with Eleanor. It was fantastic. I have not done any other enamel courses but it is difficult to believe there would be a better introduction. Eleanor is very patient, vastly experienced, generous and in no hurry to end the day. We were encouraged to finish everything before we left.

I had a fantastic fused glass workshop with Eleanor and loved every moment in the studio. She was welcoming, passionate, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Eleanor is simply an amazing teacher! She explained all the steps super clear and created a great environment for us to make our glass work and at the same time get to know each other. I have learned a lot from the workshop and I would highly recommend taking a class here!!

An inspirational day which was chokka block full of information and new learnings.
Eleanor is welcoming, knowledgeable, encouraging and patient and we all produced some lovely pieces of glassware which I can't wait to see once the kiln has worked it's magic.

Brilliant service from Richard in replacing the ornate glazing in our Victorian front door. Lots of cracks and difficult to remove but he did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Eleanor was honestly so generous and supportive and knowledgable! Would highly highly recommend anyone to go on one of the Rainbow Glass Studios Courses! As a student on a budget, I was blown away by the value for money and genuine desire to empower each of us to gain a confidence in enamelling (despite me having never done it before!). After going on the copper bowl enamelling course, I came away with not just two bowls, but the two tester small curved bowl-shaped pendants which she put on great quality chains for us and let us keep at NO EXTRA COST!! She also let us stay long after the session ended just to make sure we had finished and tried everything we wanted to so we could go home with something we were truly proud of. She was so encouraging and tailored the day to our individual skill levels and needs, and she genuinely wants to do everything she can to help you get the most out of the day - far exceeding any of our (already high) expectations! The quality of the materials (the really wide range of power colours-if anything was so large it was hard to choose!!, and the various gems and flower pieces and enamel chunks for melting onto, and so many stencils to choose from as well as books to flick through for inspiration!). The depth knowledge she shared about so many different type of enameling and also other methods such a small fusing glass was SO inspiring!! I will be telling everyone at my uni (Central Saint Martin’s) to come and do this course because it’s SO worth it!!!

I had a wonderful day with Eleanor at RainBow Glass Studios! A brilliant day of learning the techniques of applying Enamel to copper. Eleanor was both clear and concise with her teaching. she was inspiring and embraced my ideas. I am excited to explore more of the Enamelling process. thank you Eleanor.

I had an amazing day @rainbowglassstudios learning how to enamel. I went with an idea to create something specific and Eleanor graciously helped me to achieve what I needed. I also had enough time to make 3 beautiful pendants which I gave as birthday gifts to family members. I learned a lot and I'm hooked! Thank you Eleanor for your patience and guidance - I highly recommend this class to anyone wishing to learn enamelling.

We had a superb day at Rainbow Glass Studios doing a Christmas decorations class. Eleanor catered for all levels and experience and taught complete beginners to those with experience and taught me something new! It was a great day and my complete newby husband, totally enjoyed it! A wonderful day. Highly recommended this. Just SO much fun!

Richard has helped me through a few projects at both work and at home. They have all turned out beyond expectation.

Had a superb day with Eleanor at Rainbow Glass Studios. Eleanor gave an informative introduction to the principles of how to apply enamels to copper. Using a step by step approach, allowing time to try out the basics for ourselves and develop our confidence. Eleanor provided guidance in creative techniques and offered a wide range of examples for inspiration. We had plenty of time to try out our own ideas with Eleanor on hand giving support and suggestions if needed. Lots of fun, and great to be able to take home and wear what you’ve made.

Eleanor is an excellent teacher who explains all practical procedures carefully and is able to answer all questions. She is patient, supportive and very good natured. I was working with one other student and the atmosphere was friendly and we worked as a team. Eleanor encourages the creative process with lots of examples to stimulate the design ideas. There is access to a large variety of materials to help create the students' pieces. The course is well paced and leaves the students confident and ready to put into practice the techniques learned. The day was most enjoyable, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in enamelling with a kiln.

Lots of fun and lots of learning. The day was packed full, and I have come away with inspiration and a complete stained glass panel to my own design. I would like to continue with further courses at Rainbow Glass studios

Having just had my second glass lesson with Eleanor I want to say how very much I enjoyed it. Eleanor explains everything so well , is so patient and is always kind and upbeat of our work. If something goes wrong she helps to improve it and never makes you feel you haven’t done well
The day goes so fast and yet we got an enormous amount done

I had a great time on the Fusion Glass day course! Eleanor explained everything very well and was really encouraging, offering ideas and techniques. I can’t wait to see my finished bowl! This was my second time and am already planning to return. My sister loved it and made coasters, small bowls and hanging pieces. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure to work with Richard for a very special project, I was very much impressed by his kindness and availability the whole time.. The final result was absolutely perfect. Super recommended if you’re looking for a high quality glass work!

Appalling experience...booked a glass fusion course for my mums birthday as her surprise gift, paid the £320, arrived at the studios after a long travel only to wait 2 HOURS. Had to run around neighbouring shops to ask where to find them/contact them, since I was getting no response. We were then told via another shop that he’d messaged to say he has sent out a notification of cancellation to those who had booked the class. This did not happen at all. Frankly shocked and disappointed at such unprofessionalism, I’m sure the glass fusion process itself is wonderful but such disorganisation is beyond acceptable.

A really lovely glass studio, so friendly, helpful and welcoming! I first visited last year to do one of their day courses in glass enamelling and have returned many times since. The beginners courses make fun and engaging days out either on your own or with friends, and you come away with so many nice pieces that you will want to come back again to try the advanced and evening classes!

This is a brilliant place if you are into glass art. There are great lessons in fusing glass, stained glass, glass jewellery, glass painting. Then there are workshops where you can create any number of glass projects with wonderful support from Eleanor. The music is something else, the most eclectic inspirational selection. If you are into glass, this place is a must.
