Excellent equipment and efficient after-sales service

I had a problem with my order: the company in charge of delivering the Gamma-Scout messed up and the product was sent back to Germany. The after-sales Service could handle the problem efficiently and I received the product only 2 days after.
The product is very well designed, light and with the possibility to connect a USB data storage electronic box. The tests I could partly undertake showed a pretty good behavior in terms of of the coherence of the displayed measurements (I cannot give a feedback on the precision of these measurements as I have no specific equipment for calibration). The detector operates 24/7 (no ON/OFF switch) and the battery is supposed to have a duration of a few years.
I am very satisfied with this experience with RadonTec. Many thanks to the team !

RD200 ABNORMAL values

The device works well, but I'm not so confident about my RD200 purchase. Since my first device after 6Y shows abnormal values (600 Bq/m3) I've tried a second one. But, just few days after this order, an other RD200, bought in Italy by my son, started showing abnormal values too after 5Y (700 Bq/m3).
On 25/6/2025, I've asked your help, but I've got no solutions. So, you can imagine my frustration. Relevant photos are available. Regards. Dino Baggio

About nine months ago, you requested a wiring diagram for the RadonEye. Unfortunately, as a reseller we do not have access to such internal technical documents, which is why we referred you to the manufacturer Ecosense directly.

Your first RadonEye was purchased in September 2018. These devices are generally designed for a service life of around 10 years, although in rare cases this can be shorter. The new RadonEye you purchased on 07/01/2026 should, however, provide reliable data. All RadonEye devices are calibrated before sale, and they are considered among the most accurate consumer radon monitors on the market. That said, as with any technical device, exceptional faults can occur.

From our experience, we also often see that changes to a building—such as replacing windows, improving insulation, or other measures that make a building more airtight—can significantly increase radon levels and may explain rising values over time.

If you have serious doubts about the measurement accuracy of your new device, please contact us again. We’ll be happy to review this together with you and find a suitable solution.
