I can see that you purchased the Motorola XT420 radios. Within the product description, it does note that range can vary depending on the environment, with typical coverage in built-up areas being around 1–2km. It also advises that if you’re unsure about coverage, our sales team can arrange a free trial.
Having reviewed your business, it appears to be a large, multi-zone family attraction, including indoor and outdoor areas, a fairground, and a multi-level indoor play structure. Based on this type of environment, we would generally recommend licensed radios, as these offer greater coverage, improved building penetration, and operate on private frequencies to reduce interference.
When you contacted us yesterday, you mentioned the radios were not working effectively within the steel indoor play structure, which would indicate that a higher-powered (licensed) solution is more suitable. You also provided images of the six radios you wished to return. From these, it appears that three units remain unopened and in resalable condition, while the other three have been opened and the original packaging has been disposed of / damaged.
As a result, we are only able to offer a refund on the items that remain in a resalable condition. However, as a gesture of goodwill we also advised that, should you wish to proceed with a licensed system, we could offer a discounted rate - though we have not yet received a response.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
When you contacted us last Friday, you reported that the charger was sparking where the power supply connects to the single charging unit. This is not an issue we have encountered before and, given the nature of the fault, our team advised during both calls that while we would normally request photo or video evidence prior to arranging a return, it would not be necessary - or safe - for you to reconnect the item to capture this.
Instead, we offered to arrange a free of charge collection so the charger could be safely inspected at our warehouse and, if required, returned to the manufacturer under warranty. This would have allowed us to confirm the fault and arrange a replacement where appropriate. We also followed up with an email outlining the collection details and next steps. However, when we contacted you again on Monday to confirm the courier collection window, you advised that the charger had been disposed of.
As outlined in our terms and in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we are entitled to inspect goods to verify a fault before proceeding with a repair, replacement, or refund. As the item is no longer available for return, we are unfortunately unable to progress this matter further with the manufacturer.
We appreciate this is not the outcome you were hoping for. However, we did aim to offer a safe and appropriate resolution and followed up multiple times to support this.
