Disrespect and belittlement around every corner
My client and I have had a few conversations with RA trying to figure out his next super bike and around every corner we were disrespected and insulted which is surprising when we are looking at dropping over $20,000 on a bicycle. Unfortunately, for one of his builds, I did use them to get some components that I couldn't source other places and around every corner they drop the ball. We were not notified that parts were on backorder, even though it said when I ordered that they were in stock and would ship within a few days. Another part they ordered the wrong size and along this process, they never let us know what was going on. I had to call to find out why I hadn't received something in a couple weeks and then again to figure out where his stem was. They never returned our calls, which meant I had to take extra time out of my day to call back numerous times. It is unfortunate that they are such a large distributor of Colnago bikes. There's no way I'm going to support this place again. They don't deserve my money and I'm upset about the thousands of dollars I've spent there thus far. It won't happen again.

IBought a new Colnago frame, when it arrived it was damaged from the factory. They didn't have another to send me so they refunded the bike's price but refused to refund the shipping, as they tried to say it was cosmetic and my fault.

DEFECTIVE CHINESE PRODUCTS NO WARRANTY
sold me a pair of defective fizik cycling shoes in 2021,the sole of the shoe peeled off after a few months of use found out ,they were made in 2015 in china. fizik has a 2 yr warranTy against defects but will not honor the warranty.reason .no reason given .they said ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM.,. racycles has a 1 year warranty owner cynthia gabbad will not honor this warranty reason ? no reason given other than too bad and tuff beans and ITS NOT MY PROBLEM...racycles also falsified the store sales receipt ..sale occured in late dec 2021 but they faked the receipt to date nov 28 2021..still under warranty though ..this place is a fraud and sells cheap defective old items made in china,, now i have to file with the new york attorney general and press charges against this rathole for deceiving buyers , fraudulently falsifying sales receipts , not honoring store warranty for defective products and colluding with manufacturers that do not honor their warranty for defective products...when the sole of a shoe peels off after 3 months of occassional use, they are defective ..shoes used indoors and are clean no signs of outdoor use and still look new ,and sent them 8 photos. i said i would ship them to them for inspection they said nope.NOT OUR PROBLEM .they charged me 12 bucks for shipping. too .so now im out of 112 bucks for buying what i thought were new shoes made in italy ..what i got were defective shoes made in 2015 made in china,, they can answer to the new york attorney general...DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!!

My review is for the online R&A cycles website. I have ordered several items from them during the last few years. All of the orders were delivered correctly. The most recent order for a Dura-Ace wheel set was missing one of the two small spoke wrenches. I emailed R&A and they promptly sent a replacement spoke wrench. My experience has been fine.
Not trusted bike shop
I trusted them with my bike & to my surprise, they messed up in service. My bike was working well before, I had taken it to Mt Diablo too.
I requested a guy to check everything as my century ride is coming up and he said we will degrease all, for which they charged me a good amount.
On my century ride day, my smaller chain ring broke (and my bike was just 9 months old), I took my bike to another service shop and he showed me that they didn't put two bolts properly on a smaller chain ring.
They messed my first-century ride experience and also cost me the double the amount in fixing my new bike.
It is a really bad shop with the good salesman and bad service folks.
I will never recommend this shop to anyone.

Worst company ever!
Worst company ever!! I saw a shifter pop up on my search and called them to see if they really have one in stock and they confirmed they did so i placed the order. I made sure my order wasn't going to get cancel or push to backorder since i had an opportunity to buy the shifter at slightly higher price but at least i finally have my final part to build my bike. And guess what happen this morning they emailed me saying your oder been push to back order till April. Now the shifter i would of brought for a slightly higher price is gone and i am back to searching for something that they promised me they had! WHAT A JOKE!!! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!
Great communication and international shipping
Ordered a Quarq D4 & matching crank (considered a large purchase for my pocket) from R&A and admittedly, hit the "order" to transact only to be surprised by poor online reviews and personally from a friend who had visited the store telling me staff members were aloof making him feel sort of unwelcomed.
I am pleased to say I have only the best experience with them. All their responses were within 24hrs, politely worded and thankfully reasurring that they have delivered on their SOPs as per their website.
And yes, I received my items in good time and condition. :)
Terrible customer service, never got my items
Ordered shoes, never received them. Tried calling them and lady ended up yelling at me saying "what world do you live in......??". Had to contact credit card company to dispute charge.

Got a saddle post last minute bc. my new bike didn't ship with one. Read the reviews after I made purchase and was quite concerned I'd thrown out my money.
Fortunately, this went extremely smoothly.
Not only was the price really good (italian brand, carbon post, I'm not a casual rider), but it arrived at my house 3 days later without paying beyond most basic shipping (which was still like 12 bucks or so, but whatever).
This will now be my new go to place for bike stuff that I'm ok to buy online.
R&A is a fraud
R&A is an amazing bike shop. Their reputation is something special, and it’s a good thing. Because it should have closed down a long time ago.
If you like being snubbed by an overly arrogant and disdainful staff, and a place where the customer is only there to pay through the nose, that is definitely the bike shop for you.
R&A has turned the table on its’ customers a long time ago it seems. Be prepared to pay for everything : $50 no matter what if you leave your bike in the shop, and since they are so “busy”, you won’t be able to avoid surrendering that “free money” to them. But if at least, the service was up to the highest standard, as their great marketing machine would like you to believe, all would be well.
But no, of course no. They are not even up to the task. They are so contemptuous, they mess up the easiest of jobs, because they are in such a hurry to take your money, and will demand that you praise them for the half-baked job they “performed” on your bike. They will even gloat at how diligent they were ( four days only, wow!!) to stick one seat post on your bike, when they did not even check it was properly secured. They are so unprofessional, it’s appalling, on the verge of being borderline negligent.
What could you expect from the greatest deceivers in the business? Listen to this one scheme they pulled on me : Supposedly a part had disappeared ( by the way free to them, a high end brand factory replacement part) and of course no tracking was available, so definitely lost for me. And they did not stop there, continuing with their dishonesty, they wanted me to believe their half baked lies. ( went back to inventory, oh no mailed it to you already, did not get it yet? Oh well, will get you a second replacement for the replacement part, right!!!). They probably sold the part and did not expect I would follow up on the search. They made sure to muddle the communications between them, the factory and me. The level of deceit is unbelievable, especially since they never admitted making mistakes, or trying to steal from me.
Conclusion: stay away from the most untrustworthy, unprofessional, petulant Highway robbers I have ever encountered.

I order online a TYR wetsuit size m and I received the wrong size (small instead of medium) and also a SIGNED SALES invoice of 60 USD instead of 704,49 USD which i paid. Sales FRUAD! I contacted them immediately they asked me to send a tag image of the size then they apologize and also asked me if i could find someone to sell it or give it (have this via their e-mail). I returned the wetsuit via their fedex account they received the wetsuit and they never CREDIT BACK MY account. FRAUD 2 ......... BE AWARE.......they are a total fraud.... I have not item and not my money lost 705 USD.
I proceeding with an EU consumer rights case, police case, IRS case with USA for wrong representation and credit card fraud case as well.
