I love RAAD shoes

I love RAAD shoes! I have 4 pairs converse style. Just know you will need to buy a size smaller and that it takes 2-3 months to receive them. They are made in China. Other than that I love these shoes and get mad complements on them!

Closed, but I had a great experience

Unfortunately, RAAD is closed at this time. They are a victim of the tariff wars between China and US. I wanted to give them their props anyway.

I ordered a pair of fitness shoes and a pair of boots. It took quite some time for the shoes to arrive (about 4 weeks), but when they arrived, they looked great, they looked like quality shoes. The shoes fit amazingly well, the boots were a bit larger, but with thicker socks they're fine. Price for the 2 pairs was great (a little high for a single pair). The BOGO is a game changer.

CAUTION

CAUTION! I was a satisfied customer of this company for years. But - there were never any complaints / complaints on my part! I always bought the same kind of shoes (boots) and always in size 41! Everything always worked out wonderfully! Now I have ordered 8 pairs of shoes of a different kind as always in size 41! And these shoes are definitely 1 nm smaller! It's a 40 at most! At 41, however, they are priced out! So all 8 do not fit now. Therefore, I have made use of my legal right of withdrawal and have been trying to clarify a return with support for 1 week now! They refer to the fact that the shoes are custom-made and therefore not taken back. Which, of course, is nonsense! The shoes were not explicitly adapted to the sole of my foot! And now the next hack! Nowhere on the Internet can a company address be "determined". The support does not respond to my revocation! For me, this is fraud and rip-off

A SCAM! Faulty shoes will not give refund

I ordered two pairs of shoes for my 11 year old son’s bday. He wears a size 5 in men’s but I ordered a size 6 since he’s growing very quickly at this age. He could not even get the shoes on his feet as the vamp is incredibly narrow on both styles I ordered. Now customer service is given me the run around about issuing a refund on their faulty shoes. They just keep asking me to measure my son’s foot and will not issue a refund! Do not believe the 60 day money back guarantee cause they do not honor it! The day the shoes arrived I tried them on my son and requested a refund that same day.

Love these shoes!!

Love these shoes! I bought two pairs of Classic style and loved them so much I ordered two more! Thanks for the BOGO! The fit was true to size, and I can easily remove the insole to swap in my orthotics. (The high top style didn't have removable insoles.) I have a lot of foot pain and need sturdy shoes. These shoes don't let me down, even on longer walks! If you're worried about them being too narrow based on other reviews, get the Classic style, which are wider. I had no problems with shipping. The second time took just a few weeks. Keep in mind these are custom orders, which takes time!

Look forward to purchasing again

I'm an athlete and need gym shoes that are flat to the ground. I was able to take advantage of a BOGO deal a few years ago so I got a pair for myself and my wife.

The RAAD logo started peeling off the heel pretty quickly so I just used a blade to smooth out the residual logo and it looks great.

I've worn these shoes (only to the gym) about three times per week for the past 3 years and they still look great. I've gotten several compliments on them and they serve my needs perfectly.

There is such a wide selection that I foresee making another purchase very soon.

Slow shipping- worth the wait

I have bought four pairs of shoes on two separate occasions. Each time I had to wait about a month for them to arrive but absolutely everyone asks where I get my shoes now. Love your product and that BOGOF sale just seems to never end. I love it!

False Guarantees

I ordered shoes that arrived FAR larger than described. Their site lists multiple 'perfect fit' guarantees, including a guarantee which states (per their customer service bot) "Our Perfect Fit or Your Money Back guarantee ensures that you get the ideal size. If the fit isn't right, we'll make it right or refund your money!".

When attempting to get a replacement/refund, the order page (only visible after placing an order), informed me that they will not accept any replacement or refund requests (contradicting their prior guarantee).

I reached out to customer service and never received a response.

EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: As previously stated, I did reach out to customer service (via the provided email address). I never received a response.

Extremely Poor Customer Service and Disappointing Shoes

I received my two pairs of Raad shoes today. One had a gorgeous print on it that looked exactly as the online photo. The other one, of cherry blossoms, was cheap looking and not well printed. When I tried on the shoes they fit, but both of them had a major crease in the fabric on the top of the shoe that would not straighten out no matter what I did to fix it. The top of the heel part of the shoe bends over as you put them on and takes lots of work to get it back up and laying as it should. When I looked at their return policy it stated that the shoes are "special order," so therefore they do not have to allow you to return them for a refund. I'm not sure how a shoe that is listed as an offered style is a "special order." A reputable shoe company would be happy to take a return if a customer was not happy with their product. As a huge shoe lover, I am always on the look for new and unique shoes. I purchased 2 pairs and would have purchased more in the future had it been a positive experience. I see why there are so many negative reviews for Raad.

EDIT AFTER RAAD REPLY: There was no confusion. Your return policy does not allow for customer dissatisfaction for any reason. I fail to see how you can call your shoes custom when I chose two designs that you offered on your site for sale to anyone. Choosing a size does not make it custom, nor does simply stating that it is custom. I have messaged RAAD directly and after their initial reply asking for pictures, there was NO response after the pictures were sent as requested. Why is it so difficult to allow people to return a product they realized they don't like once they get it?!

They do not honor their 24 hour order cancellation clause

I submitted an order following a Facebook advertisement that said they were in Canada.
Once I realized the funds were drawn in US dollars, I immediately requested a refund.
The company said I had 24 hours to submit for a return. They claim they didn't get my first email which is time stamped 15 minutes after the purchase. They waited for the transaction to clear with my bank on Sunday before initiating communication with me. They replied in line to the original email and the second email I sent in line and asked for a screenshot of the original email. They said they were waiting for the factory (which we all know is not true) to issue permission to process my refund. I know that this is not true because it isn't hard to find the information online that they're having the orders manufactured with a third party in China. Which means the authorization for returns lies in the hands of the RAAD shop only.
I am taking this to be a fraud and will be filing a complaint with consumer protections and my bank and providing all documented communications if I do not recieve the funds
