I received my renewal for house/contents insurance which had reduced in price from the previous year, a lovely surprise. I renewed immediately on line. Be warned, don't paint your house!....
I found out today that Quote Me Happy do not allow ANY external renovations to your property and you will be ask to cancel your policy mid term if you do. (Unless it's for accessibility reasons). This means you can't add a shed to your garden or replace a fence, paint your house etc. Forget a new patio, no renovations externally. I checked this with an agent and they confirmed you could need to cancel there and then if you wanted to do the above.. Crazy!
