Based on the provided information, it's clear that you have an unrealistic expectation. A warranty isn't the same as insurance.

It's very important that the user is careful with their device. Devices such as smartphones, tablets, and others are fragile, particularly the screen. In this message you admit that you're responsible for the damage. The screen broke due to a bump. User damage is never covered by a warranty.

Think twice ... before you pay twice

My pensioned father-in-law had malware on his computer and asked for help. And yes they were able to solve to problem ✅ but also offered and executed optional services. For an aged person in panic this sounded like a good idea.

Which resulted in a bill as large as twice the price of a brand-new laptop.

I do believe customer support excellence is supposed to be somehow different.

And very curious how they are going to respond. Because the e-mail exchange was non-productive, and the phone exchange was even less...

But maybe I cannot understand, because I have no knowledge in IT 🤔?

By the way - I'm an industrial IT Engineer since '96.

Er werd een correcte offerte opgesteld waarbij we aandacht hadden voor de urgentie van de aanvraag. Hierbij werd ook duidelijk gecommuniceerd welke herstellingen noodzakelijk waren.

We hebben kwaliteit geleverd. Het probleem is opgelost.

Indien er een gedeeltelijke goedkeuring gegeven werd, zouden er kosten bespaard kunnen zijn.

Unpolite , stalking shop member

Voorgekauwd denken, dominantie tonen, en koste wat het kost de goedkoopste en snelste oplossing zoeken om een leek zijn virtuele vaststelling te volgen — dat is geen manier van werken.
Consumenten begrijpen helaas vaak niet wat reparatie werkelijk inhoudt of hoe zij zich zouden moeten gedragen in dit proces. Wij zijn er niet om te dienen als klaagmuur. Dat een toestel snel leeg geraakt, betekent niet automatisch dat de batterij de oorzaak is.
We laten u verder in uw onwetendheid. De volgende keer adviseren we: koop zelf een nieuwe batterij en onderzoek het zelf.

SCAMMING YOUR MONEY, UNTRUSTABLE

Complete scammers. Never trust these people with your device. They will ask you to deposit around 100 euros to analyse the problem and come back in an hour. If after analysing if you don't want to repair they won't return your deposit back and give you a repair fee of 500 minimum. First I heard him explaining to another client what was wrong with his device. They took my laptop to analyse and after an hour said that my motherboard was broken and it would cost me another 580 euros to repair. Pretty much the same crap story as he told to the other guy. Plus i was warned that I should not listen while he is talking to other people. As if it was optional or private enough. I did not trust and took my laptop somewhere else and found out that the motherboard of my laptop is completely fine and I repaired it in a different store for 89 euros in total. These people are terrible scammers. After I got proof that nothing was wrong with my motherboard and asked them to return my deposit back, they kept saying that you made an agreement… agreement for what?? That you replace something that is not broken and charge me 580 euros for this?? If you are reading this, you know yourself at the first place. Do you feel comfortable living on the money you earn this way?
You are in the middle of the city center and have a little respect for the work you are doing and the trust of people who come to you. I have will start an official process to report these SCAMMERS. DO NOT trust these people.. 0
