Service so bad it's shameful. Wifi cuts out multiple times per hour, sometimes in quick succession. Network speed is wildly inconsistent at all times of day, and sometimes downright unusable. Seems to... See more

They go door to door at 7:30-8:00 at night!!!!! The most unprofessional thing strategy EVER!!! Nobody want to have their door knocked on at night. It is not safe for anyone.
Customer Service Horrible from India
So it seems like customer service moved to India. You can barely understand the person then they keep repeating same thing over and over like if they are reading. It's horible.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Modem broke and they wouldn’t get anyone to come fix/replace for several days.
Quantum cut our internet and broke our gate
We don't even use Quantum but they came to our yard to install an internet line for a neighbor. In the process of doing so they cut our internet line AND broke the fence gate to our backyard. Horrible customer service on top. Don't recommend ever using them.
Do not waste your time with Quantum.
Quantum Fiber is not a serious internet provider. I set the service up and paid my fee and it never worked. After 3 hours with them on the phone they scheduled a technician to come out then canceled the appointment and canceled the service. No explanation. Do not waste your time with Quantum.

Our “pod” went out and we asked if they could overnight it explaining we work from home. They told me they could not. I kept calling back and they just told me to be patient. It’s been 5 business days and it still has not been mailed out. I’m going to leave them. When Xfinity’s customer service is far superior I know it is bad. In fairness I do think Xfinity has improved.
Quantum fiber is TRASH!!!
One of the worst companies doing fiber. Their door-to-door sales people are pushy, don't take no for an answer and continue coming back to harass you and your family over-and-over until you threaten to call the police. Digusting, sleazy sales tatics! I would advise EVERYONE to stay away from this company!
Unprofessional. Waste of your time.
Quantum Fiber stood me up on the first installation appointment, discovered I didn’t have fiber run to my house on the second, sent a crew out to pull in the fiber without any notice, stood me up on the third appointment because they weren’t ready on their end. I have been waiting for installation for over a month and missed four days of work.
Quantum Fiber obviously is extremely disorganized and does not care about your time!
I returned my equipment and they charged me $500
I moved, had to cancel service because they didn't have capability to give me service at my new address. I sent the equipment back and a month later was charger $493 for no return of equipment. I was furious. Then when I called they made me provide tracking I wasted over an hour of my time over the phone, they said they will refund it cause they can see It was in fact returned, so now I'm out $500 for multiple days til the money comes back. I asked for something to be done for royally screwing up my money up after christmas leaving me broke after my home was flooded and I'm currently displaced from my home and now broke and the supervisor said they can't do anything to make it right. This place is garbage, they are commiting robbery trying to charge some outlandish amount of money to people who didn't do anything wrong to try to make a dollar. It's disgusting and I wouldn't recommend these clowns to anyone.
Please listen to these reviews not only…
Please listen to these reviews not only does their service suck but when you cancel they don’t credit you for unused services. This is absurd. I’m kicking myself in the butt for going with these guys. DO NOT GO WiTH THEM. Xfinity has better pricing for better service and I was able to get my modem the same day I signed up.
Terrible Customer Service
My review is based on a call I just had with customer service about the options available in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, fiber isn't here yet so the rep told me about the DSL options. I told her I would do some research and call back when I've made a decision. She asked what research I would need since she just told me everything about it. I said I would look online at reviews, especially in my neighborhood and before I finished my sentence, she hung up on me. I know QF internet is solid and will happily sign up if they ever install it in my neighborhood, but what kind of people are they employing in their call centers??
FRAUD/SCAM COMPANY
THIS WHOLE COMPANY IS FRAUD/SCAM & SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!! MY BF PAID THE BILL FOR THE MONTH & THEN TODAY HE GETS AN EMAIL SAYING THANK YOU FOR CONFIRMING YOUR CANCELLATION…WE DIDNT REQUEST ANY CANCELLATION. MIND YOU, THEY DID THE SAME THING TO ME A FEW MONTHS AGO WHEN THE SERVICE WAS IN MY NAME!!! QUANTUM FIBER IS TRASH STR8 BULL
They are the worst ISP in the history of terrible ISPs
CenturyLink fiber for 5.5 years....3 outages, longest one was 12 hours. Quantum buys up the CL fiber service and 6 weeks later we're now on day 5 of it being out. The only update I can get from them is that it will be at least 2 more days before they restore service. Literally a rock solid fiber loop for 5+ years and it took Quantum less than 2 months to catastrophically screw it up. Day 3 of the outage I called T-Mobile fiber, who also has a loop in my neighborhood. They came out today - install took about an hour, and it up and fast as heck. I saw 3 different T-Mobile fiber trucks in the neighborhood, so guessing everyone else is switching too. Quantum is a terrible, terrible company. I would choose cable or satellite over them every time.
Quantum Fiber
I would give this a 0 rating if I could.
All the reviews for this subject are 100% Truth. I have had quantum fiber for at least 4 months, which has been good for while, but I have been without internet for 3 weeks. Why am I paying for this service, and not able to use it. Trust me, it is a scam. CenturyLink forces you into this service, if you have their internet, wifi, they will cut off your internet, forcing you to call customer service to restore it, and try to set you up for a appointment to get quantum fiber installed. 2 years ago I tried, and had to reschedule 4 times, because no one showed up. I eventually cancelled.
They will attempt to get you to reschedule by offering gift cards, which you do not get until 9 weeks after installation.
2 years later I tried again, and it all went swell.
Figured some f'ery would happen eventually, because now there has been an outage for 3 weeks, and I have had no explanation on why its happening so often. It really is a scam. In about 10 years they should have this fiber thing figured out, and I will try again.
Terrible from the Start
Terrible broke my fence, constant problems long wait. No response wish I never would have changed Quantum sucks
Stay away! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
Quantum is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They just cancelled my internet without notification. Yep, just out of the blue. When I called to ask why, I was told my account had been transferred and they gave me another number for me to call. When I said, you did this without notice? Yes. So, I just won't have internet tomorrow? That's right, I was told. What kind of company does this? The number they gave me was to Century Link. "Our sister company" I was told. And they would have answers for me. If Quantum is this bad why would I ever want to deal with its sibling? Stay away from Quantum!
The place is dei to the max and…
The place is dei to the max and therefore nobody knows what the hell they're doing.
if I could give no stars
if I could give no stars , that would be most appropriate. Constant issues with connection and bandwidth , terrible customer service, calling Comcast back today, after a year of aggravation.
This is the worst internet system I…
This is the worst internet system I have ever used. The system simply does not work. I contacted customer support, in India of course, they said my problem was that I needed another pod. My home is a patio home, only 1500 sq ft. I waited 4 days for the pod to arrive, hooked it up, tried multiple times to stream on my Tv with the pod right next to it, constant buffering. I checked my speed, was supposed to be at least 500mbps, I am only getting 300 mbps download and 75 mbps upload. It keeps dropping from my Smart TV and then I have to go back into setup and redo everything. After the 5th time I unplugged it. I will be cancelling first thing in the morning. This system is a joke, don’t be fooled by the hype or the price for life guarantee, those promises are not worth anything if the system doesn’t work. It was installed on 10 December and I am already cancelling. I would have cancelled on the 12th of December if I hadn’t waited for the extra pod that made no difference. $50 wasted
Speeds way slower than advertised
Not even close to the speed I am paying for. When I had CenturyLink fiber, I was literally getting 900+ Mbps up and down. Now, it's about 500. I know, you're saying, "Well, that's pretty fast." But, it's not what I'm paying for and certainly not nearly as good as is possible. I'm sure they're rate limiting me... at a speed less than I pay for.
Alternative, though... Xfinity. It's like choosing which STD you'd like.
