I have been a loyal and consistent user of Quandoo over the past few months, primarily for bookings at Dum & Rum and Dosa Hut Aspley, which are both conveniently located near my workplace and home. However, my experience has taken a sharp and disappointing turn.
Recently, my account was suddenly blocked without notice, citing suspicious booking activity and questioning the authenticity of my bookings. Quandoo demanded credit card transactions or receipts to validate my dining visits. I promptly responded, providing clear evidence of my visits to Dum & Rum including receipts, card transactions, and reward notifications from their in-house loyalty program.
As for Dosa Hut, I explained that they do not offer a rewards program and encourage cash payments via discounts, a common practice, especially in today’s cost of living crisis. As a practical and budget-conscious customer, I naturally chose to pay in cash. However, since I didn’t foresee needing proof for such transactions, I didn’t keep receipts. Quandoo acknowledged my explanation and eventually restored my account, but what followed next was even more frustrating.
All my accumulated points were wiped, and no cashback was facilitated. Despite repeated follow-ups, I’ve received no response or resolution from the support team. It’s incredibly disappointing that, instead of investigating with their own partner restaurants for validation, they chose to penalize a loyal customer arbitrarily.
The complete lack of transparency in policy, unresponsiveness to emails, and dismissive attitude toward genuine explanations has left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned. I will no longer be using Quandoo. The only motivation to use this platform was the modest cashback program and if that is handled so poorly and inconsistently, there’s no point continuing.
With limited participating restaurants, poor customer service, and unclear policies, I would strongly advise others to reconsider using Quandoo. A platform that cannot handle its loyalty program fairly or communicate effectively with its users is simply not worth your time.

I booked a restaurant reservations and was charged a $90 no-show fee, even though we attended our booking. I have tried to contact the Quandoo service team, and have not heard a response in 3 weeks. Am disappointed in this, as my experience has previously been positive.

I had received an email saying I had points worth $15 & to claim them before they expired on 24/2/25. Firstly it was super difficult figuring out how to claim them, I even made another restaurant booking trying to claim them - but still could not figure out the process. I sent a mail to their only contact given,
on 21st & again on 25th Feb - no answers. It had first showed me that I had 1000 points worth $15 then suddenly it is showing me that I have claimed the points which I have NOT.
Nothing but a con website promising something & not delivering & not even bothered to answer back.... RUBBISH - Please Do NOT book through this website.
After putting this review on, Quandoo has reverted to me, clarifying about the points & the payment has arrived in my bank account

We booked through Quandoo who confirmed the booking, but when we arrived with our friends, we found the restaurant had closed a week ago. Quandoo should have known this and alerted us. I won't use Quandoo again.

I used to be a satisfied user of Quandoo, happily booking both personal and professional restaurant and cafe reservations through their platform. The cashback and occasional promotions were great incentives, and I accumulated a significant amount of loyalty points over the months. Unfortunately, this positive experience has soured recently.
Despite earning numerous points, Quandoo has stopped honoring the redemption of these points for cashback. My attempts to resolve this issue have been met with silence, as I’ve sent multiple query emails to their customer contact address without any response. There is also no mention of caps or restrictions in their Terms & Conditions, which makes this situation even more frustrating.
Additionally, Quandoo deleted my account without any explanation, and their lack of communication is incredibly disappointing. The marketing emails promising rewards now seem misleading. If my experience is common, it’s clear that Quandoo has serious issues with customer service and reliability. Avoid reaching out for help, as it seems they don’t respond.

This company has no moral. They rip off small business and have a terrible product.
It’s pretty unprofessional to direct debit my account and ask me to get the money from the new owner, even when I notified Quandoo numerous times I already sold my biz. What I didn’t like is charging me the usage fee for the month of July even when I sold my biz mid June. This is absolutely pathetic and unbearable. You guys can’t be trusted. I will not tolerate if Quandoo direct debits my account again next month as I got nothing to do with you now.

31/7/20 LATEST UPDATE: My bad review of Quandoo brought their attention to specifically look into and follow up on the matter below for me. It was due to Covid-19 and because of the offshore processing of the payments it took a little longer than expected. Now all my redemptions are in my acct. This is my first time redeeming credits and am very happy with the Quandoo service and app, so will continue to book all my restaurant reservations thru the app again in future.
17/7/20 ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been making restaurant reservations via quandoo for quite some years and have recked up some points where I've redeemed for credit payment into my nominated bank acct. It stated credit will hit the acct within 14 days. I've redeemed for 3x $15 credit on 30 June 2020, till today have not seen a cent! Not happy

This was a new experience for myself, Teppanyaki I'd only heard of it. I knew they catered to vegetarian/vegan. This was my birthday dinner, my daughter and I will go again. The staff and service was friendly and polite. Food was mad(great)💜💜💜✌😚
