This dealership was a very frustrating…

This dealership was a very frustrating experience from start to finish. Within just a couple of days of receiving the car, I identified serious issues including mould, a loose door, and numerous other defects, and I immediately exercised my legal right to reject the vehicle.

Despite acting promptly and well within the 30-day rejection period, my request was not accepted, and the process became prolonged after I reported the problems. In my experience, this showed a lack of professionalism and urgency in resolving the matter. Even after repeatedly making it clear that I did not want repairs, this option continued to be suggested, with my rejection described as “unreasonable” given the condition of the vehicle.

It also became apparent to me, based on available evidence, that the car may have sustained prior damage which was not clearly disclosed. The vehicle had come from auction, where reports noted issues such as a deformed door, scrapes, and paint damage. There was also MOT history indicating failure and structural concerns. Despite this, these issues were described to me as “normal wear and tear” for a 72 plate car with only 34,000 miles, which I do not agree with.

Overall, I found the experience difficult and felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. It was only after my broker became involved that the issues began to be acknowledged, although a resolution was still not straightforward.

Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution when dealing with this dealership.

Quality P/X Southall

Bought a BMW 1 series from them and traded in a corsa. The BMW had a brand new MOT only advisories being worn discs not including the loose handbrake cable and the rear wiper not functioning. Anyway I’ve had the car since June 2025 and I’ve had to replace-
Nox Sensor
Oil pressure sensor
Clutch
Rear Wiper motor
Refurb Injectors
4 spark plugs and 4 Coil pack's
Rocker gasket replaced
Thermostat
Aux belt and tensioner
On top of this I ended up getting a speeding ticket for the Corsa I no longer owned which he told me he had scrapped because the chain had broken which obviously was a lie but managed to prove I was no longer the owner of the Corsa so that got sorted.
I would not recommend this garage based off my experience it’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car by far!!

Extremely dishonest and disingenuous trader. MUST AVOID

Extremely dishonest and disingenuous trader (Hassan)

I purchased the car in May 2025. After getting MOT and service done today, there were a number of underlying issues with the car that were not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I believe the previous MOT was carried out by a dodgy garage. Shock absorbers, brake disks, and 3 tyres needed replacement.

I part exchanged my previous car to get my current car. When the trader realised an issue with my car, I financially contributed towards some of the repairs needed, even though this was after the exchange and I was not contractually obligated to do so. I did this for my conscience. Clearly, this did not apply for Hassan. When I have tried to contact the trader, he has not responded. Very dishonest, I have learnt my lesson the hard way.

Quality Part Ex Southall: Category 'S' Vehicles: Be Careful When Buying

Bought a car from them (via Autotrader) which was clearly marked as an 'S' category (this means it had suffered structural damage previously and had been written off by an insurance company). Fair enough, but offering it for sale, I thought meant it had been sufficiently repaired and was roadworthy. I also asked for a pre-sale MOT test to be done, which was completed and reported nothing anomalous. Thinking all was good, I paid for the car and had it delivered. Shortly after taking receipt of it, the seatbelt warning alarm kept sounding intermittently and I noticed a knocking noise coming from somewhere I couldn't determine. I took it to my local garage where it was inspected and I was informed that the car was unsafe (and was provided with various photos illustrating this). There had been some inadequate repairs carried out in the past but they did not render the vehicle roadworthy (or safe to drive on the public road). I asked for a refund and they collected the car. I was curious as to how it had passed an MOT test as well. After a couple of weeks or so, they refunded me for the cost of the car and included the £40 MOT test charge I'd paid. So I have given them two stars for this but Quality Part Ex should not be offering for sale any vehicle that it not roadworthy. The caveat for buyers is to have any vehicle independently tested prior to purchase and particularly any vehicle that is category 'S'. A history of MOT tests is insufficient to prove roadworthiness (although you'd think it should!)

Absolutely Appalling Experience- HUSSAIN

This dealership, and particularly the salesman Hussain, sold me a car under completely false pretenses. It has been one of the worst, most dishonest car buying experiences I’ve ever had. Here’s everything that went wrong:
* The A/C was broken, but Hussain regassed it to make it seem functional, only for it to stop working days later.
* The window shutters don’t work.
* The clutch was worn out and needed replacing.
* The car had 4 YEARS of missing MOT history, which was never mentioned or disclosed.
* The wheels were cracked, but they were covered with polish on the day of sale to hide the damage.
* There is severe corrosion underneath the car, which was also not disclosed.
* No service history was given. When I asked, I was brushed off and told: “It’s over 10 years old – don’t expect a full history.”
* Within just 3 weeks, I had to replace all four brake pads and discs – the car was sold with almost no brakes left, which is a serious safety hazard.
To make matters worse, Hussain was very forceful and aggressive during the sale, pushing me into a rushed decision. Once the problems started piling up, and I tried contacting him to resolve the issues — he blocked me completely.
He knew exactly what he was doing: offloading a dangerous, high-risk vehicle and then vanishing.
This is not just bad business — it’s deception, and in my opinion, borders on fraud. The lack of honesty, accountability, and basic human decency is shocking.
I’m now in the process of filing complaints with Trading Standards and other relevant consumer protection bodies.
⚠️ Please do not make the same mistake I did. Avoid this dealership at all costs.
Your safety, your money, and your peace of mind are not worth the risk.

Awful experience with this dealer

Awful experience with this dealer - purchased car in October and had problems with it ever since. Vehicle eventually completely broke down. Communications were cut from the dealer on their side and only reinstated when I mentioned complaints and Trading Standards. Solutions they offered were comical. Avoid.

DO NOT TRUST THEM

With a court date pending all I can say about Quality PX of Surbiton is avoid at all costs. There is absolutely nothing ‘Quality’ about them. Purchased a car from them and turned out to be an absolute ringer! Lied their way through the whole process and only when challenged with legal action did they offer a pittance compared to the money paid! Couldn’t lie straight in bed! Even when the last warning of legal action went in they had the audacity to stall and delay with a call back! Too late my friends! They claim to be AA assured car sales, well let’s see how long that lasts! Court case will undoubtedly demonstrate their failings and will inevitably cost them a lot more than just taking the car back and giving me my money back, but hey ho, I’m in now for the long haul!
My advice is to stay away from this bunch of charlatans, it’s simply not worth it!

Avoid these Cowboys

This company appears to be a 1 or 2 man operation who just want to get the cars out the door, then ignore their customers. It has been 4 months of emails back and forth, with them promising to reimburse me for a missing SD card for the Sat Nav, but apparently they haven't got the £99.00 to send me. They did however manage to deposit .99p into my account. Then they go quiet. They are just disorganised, and apparently either too dishonest, or too broke to reimburse me. Do you want to do business with a firm like this? (They don't even appear as a registered company on Companies House.. that should be a warning in itself)
If you want to save yourself a big hassle, I would avoid Quality PartEx in Southall. It just isn't worth the trouble.
