Disgusted and furious that QBE has forced the closure of Notary Express - an excellent company that has provided me with great value conveyancing through two transactions

Disgusting that this big firm is forcing the closure of Notary Express in Norwich because they won’t insure them thus removing choice and competition from the market

Really sad to hear the closing of Notary Express due to QBE not renewing their insurance. I used Notary a handful of times and they eye reliable, efficient and value for money.

This is an unfair change from QBE who were only too happy to take their premiums from Notary Express in previous years with only a single claim made against the insurance.

This insurance company is a disgrace. Forcing notary express to close during these challenging times is a devastating blow to many people who trusted and relied on their exemplary service. Disappointed with the way some people continue to divide us when we could be supporting each other.

My wife and I have used Notary Express on multiple occasions over the last six years and found them to be reliable, efficient and professional. To withdraw their Professional Indemnity Insurance when they had built up a thriving company is disgusting and shows a total disregard for small a company run by real people. Your director's might be slightly richer for this, and your conglomerate now has less competition, but you have made the world a worse place and denied many people of an excellent company when moving house etc.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Disgusting disregard for clients. Withdrawing insurance at short notice for no good reason- simply a change in policy - having a devastating effect on a well established and well respected business and ultimately forcing closure. Shame on you QBE.

If I could give QBE zero stars, I would. To line your pockets and force smaller companies such as Notary Express our of business is disgraceful. Notary Express has been absolutely professional in handling our purchase and it is such a shame they have to close. Shame on you, QBE.

I’m so angry that you have forced Notary Express out of business. They were head and shoulders above the run of the mill solicitors for both pricing and work ethic. I used them several times and they offered an affordable alternative to overpriced high street solicitors and now because you have refused to re-insure them, they have been forced out of business. Shame on you.

This is a disgraceful company that forces small companies out of business. awful and totally not worth the attention.

I cannot believe that QBE has forced Notary Express out of business. Merlin and his team were brilliant, efficient, prompt and charging fairly, unlike many other firms. This reflects very poorly indeed on QBE.

I’m disgusted at your treatment of Notary Express.
My husband and I have used them for two house sales and recommended them to many friends.
They have been first class, utterly professional, hard working and compassionate.
You have destroyed this small company for no reason. Leaving thousands of disappointed customers and dozens of people out of work at a time of national crisis.
I will never use QBE insurance and urge others to avoid you like the plague. Shame on you!

Worst company ever! This company deserves 0 stars but unfortunately that is not an option. Forcing small, respectable and reliable companies (such as Notary Express) to close down is despicable. You should be ashamed, QBE. Hopefully you will be the next company to close down. Disgusting.

I think your decision not to insure Notary Express was entirely correct. The service received from that firm was very poor quality and jeopardised my daughter's property purchase

Causing the closure of Notary Express is a big mistake and goes to show how little this group cares.

I have used notary express and received an excellent service from merlin and his team I was about to ask him about some conveyancing I require very shortly but due to Qbe an amazing business is no longer able to operate .good luck merlin in the future if you can find the business lucky enough to employ you I will be in contact for future work .

This is absolutely unfortgettable that you actually closed such a fantastic firm as Notary Express... They can't function without a proper insurance and you didn't want to help them... Such a shame! We should help each other during pandemic times, not bury everything what really matters...

This is disgraceful that you stop one thriving small legal firm,Notary Express, from functioning. I found the firm very good what they did for me in last 4 yrs. Unless a public statement coming through from you in this matter urgently, you do not deserve even one star.

I used notary express and had a wonderful experience, so sad QBE has pushed them out the market so they now have to close. Shame on you QBE

Notary Express has been an excellent company, providing quality service at an affordable price. I understand you are refusing to reinsure them but, without the compulsory insurance, they cannot continue in business. People will lose their jobs and clients will have to go elsewhere, perhaps finding worse service at a higher price. Why have you done this? Are you in cahoots with expensive solicitors?

I am beyond appalled by QBE's treatment of Notary Express - a brilliant small and thriving business that has had to close because of QBE's refusal to insure them. That an insurance company can wield so much power and be so ruthless with it is clear evidence that their priorities are skewed and that they have no moral direction. And that they would behave in this way at such a difficult time indicates they have no concern for the communities they squeeze their profits from.
