At this point

At this point, from my own experience, I can only warn everyone not to fill up at the machines at Q8 petrol stations in Italy with cash or a credit card. You either get no fuel at all - I put 65 euros into the ATM - or less than you paid for. Or your credit card will be charged the full amount of 100 euros even though you filled up for less. And you won't get your money back no matter how many forms you fill out. So don't fill up at Q8 in Italy under any circumstances!

Do not use Q8

Do not use Q8! They erroneously charged me for petrol twice in Italy. When you try to call them, they only respond in Italian. English queries have to be raised via email. Their customer care will then ignore all emails (I have sent already 8 of them over a period of 1 month, without any response).
