I bought the full monty in 2000x1800mm. Initially, the delivery took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. However, after finally completing the installation, I can honestly say it was worth the wait. I absolutely love the Pivot Bed!

It’s a great investment if you want to create a multi purpose room. My space is set up as a gym about 90% of the time, but when my family visits, I can easily transform it into a full bedroom within a minute. When the bed is set up, it genuinely feels like a proper bedroom rather than a temporary sleeping solution.

Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to maximize space without compromising on comfort.

I'd also recommend buying it with the Gungnir barbell. It fits perfectly in the barbell storage and is the best on the market. Together with an adjustable dumbbell and your gym is complete.

the Pivot bed could be the the best investments I’ve made.
We installed it in our spare bedroom, which doubles as my home office. The funny thing is it completely removes any excuse not to work out — the rack is literally staring at me all day while I’m working. It makes it so easy to stay consistent and train before work or after work without needing to go anywhere.

The quality is excellent and it feels like a proper strength setup, not a compromise like many home gym options. I can continue getting stronger without needing a full gym space.
What I love most is the flexibility. When we have guests staying over, it folds down into a bed in minutes and the room instantly becomes a normal bedroom again.
Financially it also makes sense. I was considering joining a gym again, but when you think about the cost of memberships over time, this is actually a much better long-term investment.
I’d especially recommend it to women who want to strength train but might feel intimidated in traditional gyms. Being able to train at home, on your own terms, makes it so much easier to build strength and confidence.
For anyone who enjoys lifting but doesn’t have space for a full home gym, it’s a brilliant solution

We have had our PIVOT bed installed for a few months now and have had a lot of experience using it as both a gym and a bedroom.

Installation: The installation instructions were very straight forward and easy. All required tools were provided so there was no need to look for screwdrivers or allen keys. We had one issue with an incorrect part but reaching out to Col was very easy and the matter was resolved within the week. We installed our PIVOT bed to the wall studs and have no concern with the stability or safety of our bed.

Build quality: You can tell a lot of time and thought has gone into the engineering and design of this bed. Every supplied accessory has its own place and setting up and tearing down the rack is straight forward and simple. The only accessory that gives me a little hesitation is the dip bars. Though we have had no issues with them so far, when under load you can see the crossbars flex slightly as you move up and down. Additionally, it would be nicer if the locking pin for the dip bars was long enough to slide through both holes on the square tube. Other than this one concern, everything else is made with high quality materials and is designed well.

Customer Service: Col was very communicative with us during our wait period as we had ordered when the PIVOT beds were on backorder. He gave us updates throughout the process and we were not worried despite the long wait. Once we did get our bed, we had one part that was missing. Col resolved the issue as soon as we brought it to his attention and despite being in the US he shipped the part expedited to our house. You can tell he takes pride in this product and our experience with this company felt very intimate.

Summary: Before we purchased the PIVOT bed we had been weighing purchasing a murphy bed and a separate folding squat rack such as the wall mounted one from Rogue. Our concern with the PIVOT was that combining a murphy bed and a squat rack would result in a bad murphy bed and a bad squat rack. That could not have been more far from the truth. As a murphy bed, the PIVOT is competitive in price with other murphy beds we were looking at. The build quality is such that it feels incredibly rugged and industrial, something overengineered for a home. At first glance you may not thing this bed can "feng shui" with the rest of your farmhouse style guest room, but honestly with the right decorative choices even our guests were shocked to find out that the bed they were sleeping on during the holidays was the center piece to our workout room. As a gym, the PIVOT can scale from a simple PRX and pull up set up all the way up to a proper bench press and cable set up. Despite how much we are using it, I still feel like we have not unlocked all of the potential of what we could do with this rack. It has been great for us to be able to have our guest room as a function gym without having to worry about an unannounced visit from the in-laws and no place to stay. Amazing product, service, and price.

Best bed frame that will carry on

This product has served us well with the available space and visitors. The quality is amazing, and its purpose meets expectations for both health and living aesthetics. It looks amazing. The gym quality is sturdy, like its rack competitors. Also, when I set it up for visitors to stay over, everyone just "wows" about the product. Though the price can be hefty, the quality is well worth it. Storage and space alone are expensive. With this product, you are getting that, respectively, as well as a home gym, great-looking and strong/sturdy furniture, a long-lasting impression on friends and family, and an additional room for overnight visitors.

All the material received is of high quality, and Col is really close to his customers: he always answered each of my emails and always gave good advice (not just to "make his sale"). You will not be disappointed by your experience as a consumer, nor by the quality. No bad surprises!

Col and the team at pivot have been amazing to work with and consider their communication and customer service the best I’ve ever experienced with any company before. I will recommend this bed for life. I’m a US customer and got the queen size bed and using a 12-13 inch tempurpedic hybrid mattress with no problems at all. Setup was a breeze, took me about a full day as others have mentioned. Col has answered all my questions and made sure this was an amazing buying experience.

Cannot express just how good Col's customer service was. Wasn't even buying a big ticket item and he was incredibly attentive and responsive. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I cannot recommend this product and company enough. I’m writing this review after using my home gym for over six months, and its quality, endurance, and utility are matched only by PIVOT’s awesome customer service. When my Full Monty was delivered by their shipping partner, one gas strut arrived opened and damaged. When I emailed support asking for help with how to proceed, there were no nagging questions. The very first response I got back was confirmation that they had express shipped TWO new ones free of charge and advice about which parts to continue assembling in the meantime. Since fully setting it up, I’ve made my one-bedroom apartment feel like a two-bedroom because I get so much use out of the space. It’s also helped me stick to a weightlifting routine: the whole reason I invested in a PIVOT gym was because I tend to feel horribly gymtimidated at communal fitness centers. I’ve been making great progress on my physical goals, and my hidden gym is chic and the world’s best house party trick lol. If you’re on the fence, please take this as reassurance that (1) setup is not intimidating, just involved—I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t even know the names of the standard tools that were packaged with it, but I managed just fine with one other person’s help one night only—and (2) it’s going to be your coolest and most enduring investment. I know I’m taking it with me to my next home :)

We've now had our gym/bed for several months and can't say enough good things about it. The PIVOT team were incredibly transparent throughout the entire process and their customer service was great.

The material and build quality is second-to-none. Everything is heavy duty, meticulously packed, and fits as it should. The attention to detail in design is top notch, making transitioning between workout routines and the bed intuitive and easy. Even the tools provided for assembly are solid and will find a future use.

Expect to spend a number of hours, likely over a few days, putting it together. The instructions are very detailed and I/they recommend reading them all, thoroughly, in order to have a pain-free experience. That said, the final product is undeniably great and having the flexibility of a home gym that converts into space for guests is incredible.

Switching the equipment from work out mode to bed mode solo is by a long shot one of the easiest transitions I’ve had to manage (and I am a petite female mind you). The Murphy bed head board that we purchased in the Mustard Velvet is gorgeous!

The equipment is top-tier. Col and his team did not cut any design corners as their products are state-of-the-art that offer a wide variety of strength training. Everything is durable, sleek, and ergonomically designed to help you perform your best. The mirror accessory is perfect to support motivation and technique. It comes with a mat that absorbs weight shock and is gentle on the joints.

I just want to thanks all Pivot's Team. My experience was prefect form the purchase to the assembly part. I always had someone present to answer my question in a really short time. The bed is made with really strong materials and well finished. If you got used to DIY project, the assembly part will be a fun part. I would recommend Pivot Bed for anybody who's looking for a home gym.

We live in a 50 sqm house (not quite a tiny house, but close) with three family members and three pets, so space is always at a premium. That’s why we decided to invest in the Pivot Bed, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. We picked up our Pivot Bed in 2023 but only finished setting it up this spring, as we weren’t sure which mattress to buy or how much weight we wanted to mount on the frame. We've been using it for roughly eight months now, and it has truly transformed how we use our home.

We use the Pivot Bed in our living room as a couch and convert it into a bed when guests stay overnight. The ease of switching between modes is incredible—it only takes a moment to transform our living room into a gym or free up space for activities like games or hosting large dinners.
While the 1.4m-wide bed initially seemed bulky for our small space, we quickly got used to it and now appreciate the space it saves when in its upright position.

The bed itself is remarkably stable. Unlike some Murphy beds, the Pivot Bed feels rock-solid in both its sleeping and gym configurations. There’s no rattling, squeaking, or shaking, even with regular use. The gym components, including the rack and J-hooks, are built to handle serious weight without bending or giving way. The only wear we’ve seen is some paint chipping on the J-hooks, which is purely cosmetic.
We did notice a little bit of movement with the pull-up bar when mounted to the extendable rack. It’s not a big deal, and we’re planning to fix it with a small piece of wood for extra stability. Other than this, the bed has been flawless in its functionality.

The assembly process was a bit tricky, but the company’s support was amazing. They answered all our questions quickly and guided us through the setup. They were also incredibly helpful with organising the pick-up when we first bought it. Maybe it’s worth mentioning that newer models have an updated design and likely an improved assembly process, so future customers might not face the same challenges we did.

While we still go to a traditional gym for heavy lifting and access to more equipment, the Pivot Bed has been great for quick 20-minute workouts or squeezing in a few pull-ups or squats during a work-from-home day. It’s nice to have the freedom to work out at home without dedicating an entire room to gym equipment.

Overall, we’re thrilled with the Pivot Bed. It’s a versatile piece of furniture that makes living in a small space so much easier. If you’re short on space but want the convenience of a home gym, we’d definitely recommend it. It’s been a fantastic addition to our home.

I had my pivot delivered to Australia. At first I was worried but the Pivot team helped organise the customs and import process.

The system was well packaged and secure on a pallet. I got a mate of mine to come over and help me. Took about two hours to put together.

Had my pivot bed for about a year now. It’s perfect for what I needed. Can use the spare bedroom as a gym without it having to look like a gym 100% of the time! The fabrication and design is incredible. Customer service is great too.

I ordered a US Queen sized bed, bundled with the Full Monty package, for a fitness room / guest room setup.

The product I received from PIVOT is a high-quality, space-saving solution exceeding expectations. The craftsmanship and materials are excellent, resulting in a sturdy, reliable product. Assembly, while a two-person job, was manageable with clear instructions. (All parts and tools required were provided, with some extra hardware in case of mistakes or misplacement.) Customer service kept in touch with me as my order progressed through the fulfillment and overseas shipment process to CA-USA. The bed is comfortable and easy to fold/unfold (with a mattress I provided myself), and the squat rack is stable and robust. This product significantly improved our living space and fitness routine, justifying its cost. Highly recommended for those needing efficient use of space.

I appreciate their genuine and transparent communications. As a new company they wear their hearts on their sleeves. I was one of their earliest backers on kickstarter, and after having the product in use at home for a year and half now I’m surprised at how little I even think about going to the gym I maintain a membership for - ok, there’s a sauna there so I do go from time to time. Colin and team are navigating the entrepreneurial waters as best they can. Their product is solid. I highly recommend the PIVOT bed for those serious about a home gym that also has to serve as a bedroom.
