While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This company took a deposit of £2000 six months later no install and no return of my deposit.
They are now saying the company that took my deposit and no longer trading so will not be return the money to me.
After booking the install they cancelled the date 6 times spanning over three months, in the end I decided enough was enough and demanded my deposit back. They told me this was not a problem and they would process it, this continued for another month with them telling me it would be processed. Still no return of my deposit so I have handed over to a debt recovery company who have been chasing for 2 months being told that PV supermarket is no longer trading and the sequential dynamics are not responsible for the debt even though the emails after I made payment were from sequential dynamics.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!
If you are thinking of using any PV Supermarket (or any of the connected names below) I would suggest you consider other providers.
My initial communication with this firm was positive at the outset, but it started to show signs of issues which should have been my warning sign.
I started my search for a solar system back in Jan of 2021 for a system that would suit me with a property that had shading.
I agreed to proceed with PVSupermarket on the 5th May 2021
My issues are as follows:
• Deposit is taken without confirmation that they had the stock to supply. Had to wait till supplies were available. I was ok with this as this is a new world we are in, but still, the deposit should only be taken surely if the stock was available?
• At the time, it was promised that PV Supermarket would take care of any planning consents required. (as per agreement) Still, nothing to this date evidencing that this was or ever will be done.
• Installed a 4.5kW System with inadequate IQ7+ enphase inverters which in effect stifles the system by 22%.
o The maximum output of IQ7+ microinverter is 295VA so 295*12= 3,54kVA
o Should have supplied the IQ7a as they can process 366VA so 366*12=4,392
• No supply of any required documentation within the specified time or even an adequate time.
o This is against regulations and has not enabled me to register the system to a provider (still fighting to acquire these and the other docs to be with the system via MCS Certified.
• Not completed the Enphase inverter profile on the system to show the benefits of the inverters which was a decisive factor in the purchase of the product.
• Saturday 17th July - the Inverter fell off the wall causing Damage to the inverter.
I opened what I thought to be a sensible dialogue with PVSupermarket via the FB messenger (as that was the only way I ever got a response) and no help was provided at all.
Following an inadequate resolution directly, my course of action now rests with MCS Certified who are trying to help - but I fear that this company is just phoenixing to avoid their responsibilities.
