I’m so grateful to Putney cars for getting me to work on time and driving through the most terrible traffic even though it is the summer holidays and supposed to be quiet on the streets of London! John in particular is a fantastic driver!

Booked last minutes after two cancellation with Uber, I have called Putney cars they swiftly despatched a driver to my address. I met very professional driver who assisted me with my bags, I also very pleased the cleanliness of the vehicle.. We arrived at Heathrow on time.. thank you Putney cars - I highly recommended them

Our 6am pick up failed to turn up so we called Putney Cars to come to the rescue and get us to Kings Cross for a 7am train to Edinburgh. Ben (Speedy Gonzalez) turned up 10 minutes after our call and managed, quite amazingly, to deliver us with minutes to spare - a tense start to the day but great driving from a delightful driver. Ben saved the day - thank you!

We booked a taxi (4 days in advance) to collect us from a wedding. The car arrived 45 minutes late, our baby was cold and tired, and we had to contact Putney Cars to find out where they were - they didn’t contact us to let us know they’d be late. We had to call twice and each time was told they’d be arriving in 10-12 minutes. So we kept waiting outside. There was no apology on arrival from the driver either, in fact no greeting or explanation at all. The car seat provided was also not the car seat we discussed and confirmed in our booking. I have since sent an email complaint and have had no response either. Absolutely terrible service and I would never use them again.

Excellent service. Today The driver escorted my elderly mother from his car to the door where she was going .
This is just the most recent example of the excellent personal and business service we have had over the past 10 yrs using Putney cars .

1st July 2023 my daughters wedding. Both drivers turned up spot on time in clean cars. Both drivers courteous (a big thanks to Said!).
Priced fairly.

Easy to book and reliable but the drivers can sometimes be a little wobbly on the road! But not all! Good value and always there when you book to go!

Great overall service. After several letdowns from Uber (accepted and cancelled my trip continuously for 35 minutes!) I called Putney Cars. It was very easy and quick to book a cab and the driver arrived promptly. I was able to track his movement and I was fully informed of the drivers details. Cab was clean and the driver was professional throughout. Their fee was also very competitive. Highly recommended service. Will be using them again.

I have used Putney cars for drop off and pick up from Heathrow airport. They have provided a great service, at a very competitive price. When I had an issue not related to the schedule they resolved it quickly and effectively. I would recommend this service to all family and friends

I called to book a cab to Heathrow this morning and I was very pleased that they had a cab available within 8min the cab came, Everything was ok until here the when i got in the car I could smell a very strong smell as if someone had left they donner kabab from the night before in the car, I politely told the driver he took it very personal and answered no it’s not true. Ok then I asked him which way you taking to Heathrow he didn’t understand my question first so I had to repeat to Repeat the question ask you did not understand English very well, he said Fulham Fulham that point I did not want to have an argument with him and so I kept quiet until I got to the airport.
Experience as a first time using Putney cars was very good but this particular driver I would not want to go in his car again he drove blue VW Sharan his name if I can spell it correctly was Abdelrasak driver number (08).
