Publishing.com is a company that cannot be trusted to give you complete information about their AI Automation Academy (AIA) program and the self-publishing business. In their promotional webinar, they fail to disclose the substantial additional costs, over and above the $1,995 sign-up fee, that are needed to get a self-publishing business up and running. This is a deceptive, manipulative, and irresponsible business practice apparently designed to induce those unaware to fork over the $1,995 sign-up fee.
As a retiree living on a fixed income, I am unable to afford these undisclosed additional expenses, and when I requested a refund for the AIA program, I was told by Chantel that my request was "not in line with our standard refund policies." So basically, Publishing.com refuses to acknowledge its unscrupulous business practices, and in addition refuses to address legitimate complaints about these practices.
As a consumer listening to the promotional webinar, I had NO REASON to expect to incur these additional costs. I had a right to know this cost information BEFORE I decided to purchase the program. If I had known about all of these additional costs needed to start a self-publishing business, I wouldn't have purchased the AIA program in the first place. And now I'm seemingly stuck.
My advice is to stay away from this company.

I did sign up with the company and was lucky enough to have gotten connected with Josh Booher for my "one on one". I am unsure what that "one on one" entailed. As soon as I received the text from Josh, it hit me, that name, it was familiar and not in a good way. I had known someone with that same name and my feeling was too strong to let it go. I searched publishing.com and Josh Booher and found a photo and it was the same person. I had a brief encounter with him when he worked for a real estate company trying to steal my home from me. I immediately requested a refund. I ran...so should you.

A few can and do make money. Most will be frustrated and lose money. Do not let them talk you into “The Accelerator” program. I will be two years getting out of debt. I was lied to. The “coaching” is a joke. I have not heard from my very expensive coach in two months.

I tried to get there $221.67 program and they tried to charge my bank $1999.00. This is a dishonest company.

I consistently return to Brian's coaching seminars because I know he will be thorough in his coverage of the topic at hand.

I would like to voice my opinion with my experience with publishing.ai and Publishing Accelerator. I had started approximately 7 months ago (August 2024) from having zero experience. I want to say that life isn't perfect or easy, but having a coach or a teacher along the way is an invaluable asset. Working full-time and trying to work on publishing part-time, I would say that having the BEST coach/ teacher along with me on my journey is the one difference that kept me going when I was experiencing self-doubt, or going through a hurdle I felt impossible to get through on my own. However, Brian Chang is both the best teacher (through his patience in the class), but a ROLE MODEL for what it takes to do good work. He went through this process from the very beginning as a student himself, so he understands the process (which has helped me press forward when I wanted to stop!). Thank you for being an inspiration, and giving me the attitude to never up (and please let Karina know that she is a part of the mind-set setting that takes HARD WORK!!!)

I have learned so much! AIA Publishing has taught me so much about the inner-workings behind writing books and I am hooked. All of the support and information provided has continued to help me move forward and stay encouraged to continue the process. The course lessons, in addition to the personal support offers that added motivation to continue on the journey- I am excited to continue working with AIA Publishing and learning so much more each day.

As a lifelong reader and writer, I always wanted to publish my books, but the early days of publishing required an agent to hawk my book to NY literary agencies. Now I know how to publish my own books and bring them to market. The AIA Academy at Publishing.com taught me how to create and market quality books using their unique training and coaching program. Sure, it involved a commitment of time and money, and I was tentative at first but the time and enthusiasm invested by coaches like Brian and Lorilee and others inspired me to proceed. The software created by Publishing.com is innovative, and the leadership team shares newly emerging market trends as they arise, but the human element provided by superior staff and coaches puts Publishing.com over the top. With a step-by-step guide to keep novitiates on track, success can be, and is, achieved daily among us. If you have books inside you waiting to be released to the world, Publishing.com is the one choice to turn your publishing dreams into reality.

I would like to give a shout to Brian Chang. As one of the PA student I participated in multiple workshops. I was always impressed by Brian's knowledge and his commitment to help all the students. He had no issue to stay overtime and provide an extra help as requested. It shows really a great professionalism and says a lot about the entire program. Thank you, Brian!

Workshops are a game changer.
Brian makes workshops simple to understand. There are no bad questions. I always get something out of a workshop even if I have been to the same topic more than once. It is well worth your time.

I attended another terrific workshop with Brian Chang on Amazon Ads. It was so comprehensive and easy to understand that I am no longer intimidated by starting my ad campaigns (as soon as my first book is published, that is). Thank you, Brian!

I just participated in the "Group Coaching with Brian," and I simply can not express strongly enough how much Brian's style of coaching has helped me understand the different processes of the program. He is very direct and to the point, whether he points us back to our video lessons for the answer or gives his expert guidance on our completed work. Brian is one of the most patient and knowledgeable AND compassionate coaches you have on the Publishing.com team. His actions show that he truly cares for us. I am SO grateful.
And I REALLY hope to win that 1-on-1 session with him. ;-)
