The environment scan process took 45 minutes, which felt excessive. Being repeatedly (over 7-8 times) asked to rescan the room, walk to the other side of my desk and office, open drawers on the other side of my desk (makes no sense), to lift up items made me uncomfortable and gave me the impression I was being unnecessarily scrutinized. It was a poor and stressful way to start the test.

This is an absolute scam
This is an absolute scam, choose another company if it's at all possible. At very least, DO NOT TAKE the online proctored exams. I was violated for "looking" away from my screen three times before I could reply and I "failed" the test. However, I was not looking away, I was looking at either end of my very wide computer monitor. They didn't care, they brushed me off, said it would take 2-5 days to review, THEN HUNG UP ON ME! It's not a mistake that they do not have a direct contact number on their website, they are obviously extremely dysfunctional and unprofessional.

Extremely Frustrating and Unacceptable Experienceed my exam with PSI
I took and passed my exam with PSI on June 26, and weeks later, the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology still has not received my scores.
For the past 2 weeks, I have called PSI Customer Service almost every single day. Every time I call, I get nowhere. No one can explain why my scores have not been sent, no one seems able to actually resolve the issue, and despite multiple requests, nothing changes.
This is not a minor inconvenience. PSI’s failure to transmit my exam results is delaying the issuance of my professional license and directly affecting my ability to work.
It is incredibly frustrating to complete all of your requirements, pass the exam, pay the required fees, and then have your professional license held up because a testing company cannot complete the basic administrative task of sending exam scores to the licensing board.
The lack of accountability, communication, and effective customer support has been extremely disappointing. After countless calls and two weeks of trying to get someone to actually fix the problem, I am still in exactly the same situation.

Do not trust PSI!!!
I have called them and I have reached out by email. They have not responded to my emails. I was finger printed at one of their testing sites. The testing site gave me someone else receipt. They told me to contact PSI. PSI tried to blame the testing site but the testing site told me that the respites go to PSI and they use PSI machines. PSI has not responded to me with any information, no updated details about the receipt or any other information. Horrible service!!

Completely incompetent
Completely incompetent system, proctors sat for 30 minutes saying my computer setup wasn’t adequate but not telling me how to fix it. Tech support couldn’t help either, when I finally thought I had figured it out the proctor said to exit and reload the test and I was locked out of taking the test. Do not recommend taking any sort of online proctored test from them if you want to actually get anything done, take the extra time and go take it in person somewhere.

I do not know why the department of insurance in CA uses this company at all. I have had several agents take exams through PSI. They are super frustrating to deal with. Their customer service is outsourced and not helpful at all. They won't correct errors in their own system and they charge you even when the mistake is on their end and they basically say "too bad". Their log in is unnecessarily difficult to navigate and then getting your results is impossible. Error codes come up on their pages and they tell you to call back 7 days later to get your results that should be instant. When you ask them to tell you by phone what your score is they won't. CA dump this company and use a company in the US that can actually help!

They were super unhelpful when my valid…
They were super unhelpful when my valid id was on my phone and i tried showing them another ID. They canceled my exam and forced me to reschedule and pay the fee for rescheduling. They are so bad at understanding.
