AVOID. Used for tanking a section of our basement and installing ventilation. In short, did not perform the agreed work, lied to us and would have charged us for work that was never carried out. Tanking installed wasn't tanking and ventilation fan didn't even spin. As soon as it was clear the work needed redoing they stopped answering their phones or responding to emails. Apparently no issue trying to take advantage of an NHS worker and mum on maternity leave. Unprofessional, poor quality work - even the basic work that was done such as plastering is a poor standard. Avoid.

Quote provided really quickly, and when I called to follow up, explanation of detail was thorough and clear.

They wanted deposit a day before work was to start, but I had to chase up to make sure paperwork would arrive. I left details about access and parking at the property.

The contractor didn't receive my info about access and parking and because it wasn't straightforward he called me up in quite a fury and rudely expressed his anger and frustration at not having parking, saying he'd quit the job.
The boss helped to resolve this, met me at site and reassured me the access wasn't an issue.

For good reason, the work escalated and I asked the team for expected timelines, and for a new written summary of revised schedule and revised quote. This paperwork never arrived.

In short, the contractor told me one thing, The boss told me another. The timelines kept slipping. The work required kept changing. My agent had to keep revising the tenant's move in date (at cost). I kept asking for realistic figures and paperwork and none arrived. The work seems to be of good quality.

I had to query the final invoice several times as the figures did not add correctly, were not explained and the detail of the work carried out was lacking. It took ages to get the revised correct figures, and most explanation tried to blame me for lack of access to the property.
