This company states 60day no quibble return policy. What a joke they receive goods back you send proof and nothing, You email them nothing, how does this company keep advertising they must be a scam company. State they have chat on their website this does not exist
Avoid at all Costs.
This company accepted the return of a faulty extractor fan.
They refunded the money to Pay Pay but did not complete the transaction.
The refund was timed out by Pay Pal and not credited to my account.
Several e mails were made to complain. I was told proteus have refunded the money.
No customer service. No phone number to speak to anyone and chat facility available.
This company is a scam and will rip you off
**DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM**
No goods or reply to my emails .
complete and utter waste of time
Ordered some plumbing parts on 3rd August, delivery on the website stated 2-3 working days which should have been by the 8th August. Order is still not dispatched 25 days later. Tried to contact twice by email but no response, there's no phone number on the website.
Looking at other reviews it seems consistent for all shoppers and they've hidden their google reviews to avoid most people seeing it so Trustpilot is all we have.
The website says "over 20 years experience" but the company was only founded last year, the website would appear as a well established company but I suspect it's a white-label or dropshipping site, their registered office is also listed for sale currently so please draw your own conclusions.
Logged a chargeback with my bank to get my money back and I'll order from a reputable company next time.
Poor delivery time. It is very easy to order from their website, but the stated 2-3 day delivery took 18 days to arrive! I emailed twice to ask for an update, and even these replies took about a week, and by then my order had arrived!
This company promise competitive prices but don't deliver. On the 22nd June 2024 I ordered a part for my boat and the estimated delivery date was the 28th - 29th June. It's now 15th July and still waiting. The company don't replie to emails or comments via their online contact form. AVOID.
1 star is still too many.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS USELSS COMPANY. I have reported to PayPal. PROTEUS may even be a scam and it definitely is in some ways that's for sure. I have sent x10 emails to cuatomer service (that's a joke, there isn't ANY service) ZERO replies or acknowledgement and I mean none. Needless to say the item has not showed, tracking is virtuly none existent, no detail at all and in any case it hasn't moved from.l when I ordered it!
Thank God I paid via PayPal, full refund from them.
How companies like this manage to exist at all is beyond me. The owners are either useless, arrogant or probably both.
AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!
I very strongly suggest you avoid this store. I placed an order for a commonly available engine water pump. As per the other Trustpilot and Google reviews, the delivery estimate came and went, with there being no sign of the order being even close to despatch after a week. Multiple emails to the only contact email address have gone unanswered, leaving this heading rapidly towards a credit card section 75 claim.
Either this supposed store does not actually have the stock it claims to and instead works on a dropshipping basis, or is so disorganised that it has no regard whatsoever for timely customer service.
Good website with good prices and easy ordering ... HOWEVER ...
They do not have a phone number so you cannot call to chase. They take days to respond to emails and then it appears (now looking at the reviews on Google) that they have a standard response to blame the carrier of their suppliers.
We ordered a part which was stated as in stock and requested a quick delivery option, paid the upgrade and expected arrival within one to two days (as per the order confirmation). Took a week to get a response to emails. When we cancelled, they ignored our email. Had to threaten credit card action to get a refund.
Such a shame
Companies are often measured when things go wrong.
- Pros: Low Prices. Easy Returns process. Collaborative once we were connected.
- Cons: Lack of a phone number (but they later explained this is to keep costs low). Initially slow to communicate.
I purchased 2 x BlueSea T-Fuses and a BEP T-Fuse holder with the exception of delivery in 2/3 days. The order arrived minus the T-Fuse Holder 5 days later. Tried to get in touch but no contact number and a delayed response to my email query. When we did connect on email, the problem was resolved quickly and they had a simple to use returns approach via Royal Mail (who collected from my door).
