I have had the property me app now for approximately 16 months.
In that time my estate agents have been able to leave the company that they have worked with and leave inaccurate information regarding my rental payments.
And keep their window open as the property manager.
3 different agents ,
Now my question is where do I stand with this.
Property manager 1 that is still active says I am currently 200 days overdue ...
Property manager 2 whom is still active doesn't return my 1 email regarding $850 in credit .
Property manager 3 is currently my property manager but I rental feedback from a nother employee regarding my rental status.
As a property owner/investor I have a number of properties which are managed by property management agents who unfortunately use Propertyme. The agent sends me property inspection reports and when I log in I am unable to read my reports due to an obvious glitch and Propertyme don't seem to want to talk they just want to send emails giving me the run around. Quite honestly I do not think that they deserve the 1 star. When appointing an agent to manage your property just make sure they do not use propertyme
I can't find anything positive to say about the experience with this service, it's all just a pile of frustrating shit.
As a property owner, PropertyMe does not provide a good service. The rent is paid by the tenant then PropertyMe hold that money for around 4-5 days. The only reason I can see for this, is that they benefit from investing in the short term market. With huge sums of money coming through the app, this would be very lucrative for them. It is also difficult to see the details of where dispursements have gone or see the actual bills. It also means that my cash flow is disrupted for their gain. I am disappointed that the agent I signed up with uses PropertyMe and I would have this as one of the deciding factors in choosing and agent next time.
A one way system that only allows property managers to TELL property owners but does NOT owners to reply within. This disallows fluid communication, is biassed to the agent and wastes time as owners need to communicate and manage their own records outside of the system.
PropertyMe, still as bad as ever. Pay your rent before the due date and then get an email from your real estate agent saying you are 3 days in arrears. By the way, PropertyMe, don't email me.
as an owner, i was forced to register as apparently a simple pdf of the inspection report was too much trouble. I admist, I fluffed the online registration, which then descended into hours of confusion and time dealing with zendesk. website needs to be foolproof. Don't hate the fool - hate the foolish programming.
Edit: it gets better. Despite now having access - you can't print inspection reports (pdf). It's there - on the screen - pictures and notes. Do you think I could simply pdf it for a hardcopy? No - that would be too obvious and useful.
My rental agent uses property me. I have just spent days doing my ingoing inspection report to get to the end. There are 2 people on the lease agreement. I noticed a sentence saying only 1 signature required. Mmmm
It's won't accept 1 signature so I try 2 signature no luck there either.
So I emailed the property manager with snap shot of the error.
I revisit the next day still have the same issue.
The next thing I get a reply from property manager who says I download it and email it. There is no option to download my file.
So I email property manager saying no option to download.
So she says she will close it . So all my comments have been removed but my photos appear to be there. I can't guarantee they are all there. However it's her signature on my photos I know this as it states Tennant's photos.
Im being told that I have to do it again manually.
I'm sure they should be able to use IT department to recover my information.
I feel I should invoice them for time wasted in doing this again it's bad enough to do once.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
The application only gets worse, takes payments and does not record them against the accounts yet the transactions have come out of my bank account. Illegal stuff here, they are terrible
My real estate has recently forced their tenants to use the PropertyMe app. Like so many others who have complained about this app, I received a "red banner" against my name for rent in arrears despite paying on time! This app took 4 weeks rent out in one week, & is claiming that I am only paid up 2 weeks in advance. Another reviewer on a reddit thread said the app did the exact same thing to them! I contacted Fair Trading & they told me it is illegal to demand tenants pay more than 2 weeks rent in advance. If the PropertyMe app puts "a red banner" against my name again next week, I am filing a formal complaint with Fair Trading, & with the Consumer Watchdog (the ACCC) This is completely illegal & unacceptable. So beware of the PropertyMe app! I do not believe they are going to rectify this problem. People have been complaining about this exact same problem since the PropertyMe app's inception, and they do not seem to care! I do not recommend. Would give no stars if I could!
I already have a account with them .After signing with a new agent i cannot register with the agent as propertyme aks me to activate my already registered email ,when i try to activate my email it tells me that my email already exists then then i cant proceed. Then they tell my agent that I refused their invitation, why in gods name would i refuse when i am trying to re sign up. I have given up on this useless dysfunctional software and the clowns that run it and work there.Life is too short.
I absolutely hate this app, glitchy and not user friendly, even the real estate who is forcing us to use it, cannot work it out.
avoid.
My experience has been limited as a new user: but my impression is of a company that has some good staff and some who can not deal with frustrated users and would do better at a milder role. The email support is poor and often just one line of text. It sometimes takes many hours to get a response. The company lets itself down badly by providing minimal technical support and staff who can not deal with angry frustrated users which the company itself has created by its modi operandi. Namely, the person who answers the phone can not help solving technical issues so all the caller can do is vent their frustration. The staff then tell them they are being rude. There is a definite power imbalance here and I feel that their faceless structure is abusive.
My agent just changed to Propertyme. As a Landlord their service is terrible.
I will be changing estate agents to stop using their product.
Their statements are poorly written and hard to read, with no explanation as to what some charges are.
The statement is the most valuable piece of information for Landlords and their statements are worthless
As an landlord, when I log in, all I see are my personal details (phone. Email etc). I cannot access any information about my property, money in and out, maintenance requests etc.
A useless service. was forced to use propertyme by my real estate agent. If I could give no stars, I would have.
Mostly a great product. Has some glitches but I would definitely recommend the product. Unfortunately I have been spoken to very rudely by 2 customer service representatives and they have definitely tarnished my opinion of the company. Very argumentative and rude even though I never said anything to deserve to be spoken to in that manner. It's like I caught them on a bad day and they decided it was okay to treat me like a lesser human. Most of them are really nice and a pleasure to deal with so it was very disappointing to have these unprovoked experiences.
Unfortunately I was forced to change to Propertyme from a MUCH better system. It is clunky and as a landlord it does not allow me to send messages to the tenant (something I used extensively in the old system). I would change back in a flash if it was an option. Not impressed at all.
[Edit 1] To be fair, the company has contacted me (see below) and I await a reply to my emailed question. Well done for taking the time.
[Edit 2] OK they quickly got back to me, and I was right! There is NO WAY for the LANDLORD to send messages to the tenant. Poorly designed system.

Very Flaky, poorly tested, lots of bugs.
Using as an owner.
Couldnt download any statements, just the whirling wheel.
Today I cant even view the pages,
Logging in takes me to a blank page with their watermark logo.
And when I can get on via a page link I only see my profile and all menu options just refresh the profile page or i get a blank page.
Having to do lots of workarounds to use properly.
Tried on several devices and browsers, each one a different result, all with issues.
