I didn't find Promovendum by my side
While sitting home, someone crashed into my parked car and totalled it on 23 January 2022. After a couple of phone calls, I managed to have them send an independent expert for the valuation of my car. Three-four days later an expert came to my car and I am informed that the process may take 5 to 14 days. After a week or so, the valuation expert called me and told me the value of my car, which was under the current market value of similar cars. I told him that I won't accept it. I also called and informed the Promovendum that I won't accept this value. They told me that they will let me know once they receive the Valuation Report. A couple of weeks passed no one called/emailed. Around four weeks after the damage, I called them to ask if they received the report. On the phone, I am informed that they haven't received the report yet. I requested immediate action from them to get in touch with the evaluator to ask about the report. They called me back and told me that they contacted the evaluator and he is re-sending them the report, which had been sent beforehand but anyhow lost in their inbox. In this call, once again I let them know that I won't accept the current valuation. Then nobody called. On 23 February and called them to ask if they received the report. They told me that they received and sent the valuation report to the other insurance company without letting me know. I wrote down a complaint to Promovendum on 23 Feb. On 3 March called them to learn about the latest they told me that they didn't read my complaint letter yet.
Do you expect such an insurance company to solve your problems and be on your side when you have a problem? Once I told them that I will not accept this valuation they told me that I need to find a new valuation expert, pay for it and bring them a new valuation report. All need to be done by myself. Even though the other party accepted all the responsibility, I am paying the costs for this damage. My insurance company, Promovendum, is not taking any responsibility to help me in the process. Even though it says on their website, I will be given a rental car in case of damage (WA+Beperkt Casco), they evaded the responsibility and told me that I need to pay the %20 and the rest will be paid by the other insurance company.
In short: I lost my car, lost a lot of time, lost money, still didn't receive anything, and the money that I will receive at the end of the story will not buy me a similar car that I lost.
