On 6/2/21, I made a $169 online purchase from Proline Products. I purchased a SportRack SR1010 roof rack for my 2014 Nissan Juke SL. The website's fit guide claims the rack fits my car. It did NOT fit my car. The back clips do NOT stay in place. I contacted Proline and they advised me to use different measurements than what is listed by the manufacturer. It didn't work. I asked for a "RA#" number in order to return the item within the time frame stated on the site. I was told that the item is a "verified" fit, and I could not return it unless a tech from the manufacturer (Thule) verified that it does not fit. I went to two stores who deal Thule and they both said it would not be a safe fit. After weeks of emails to and from Thule, they verified the incompetence of the rack and they do NOT recommend changing manufacturer measurements. Etrailer has also confirmed the rack does not fit any car well. I never got an RA# number from Proline, so I paid $86 to ship it back 8/27. UPS verified receipt on 9/2, 10:30am. I have not been refunded for the item or the shipping cost.
