Termination of Family Tree Private Care After Bad Experience

I am actually submitting this on Family Tree Private Care, formerly Professional Caretakers. The letter I sent them today sums up what I want to share with others. People need to know what we experienced in an already very stressful time. Family Tree Private Care only negatively impacted us further. Beware.

This is the letter I sent them:

Effective immediately (October 8, 2026), the family of xx will no longer need the services of Family Tree.

Many reasons are behind the selection of another 24 hour care provider. At Family Tree there were numerous tardy arrivals, several no shows, one caregiver departure before the next caregiver arrived and lack of basic communication from and with Family Tree. All of these examples caused our family confusion and chaos.

The final reason is the most serious. Our Mother, xx , fell while in your care during the early morning hours of October 7. The fall was not reported until our family friend caregiver arrived at 8 am. We immediately contacted our Hospice partner and are currently working with them to alleviate the additional pain, and potential fracture, this has caused our Mother.

We feel it is important for you to know the reasons behind our severing the relationship with Family Tree. The stress level you added to an already stressful situation was untenable. You let us down.

Please contact all caregivers scheduled for today, October 8 and forward, and let them know not to report for their shift.

If you have any questions, you may contact us.
