There is great control over spending…
There is great control over spending limits and companies for which a particular card number if valid.
This company is amazing
This company is amazing in terms of allowing me to shield my true identity when purchasing things, especially online. You never have to worry about giving out your true name (or even address unless you are having something shipped to your home) to other companies. Using this service in combination with one that allows you to also shield your phone number is a magical combination for those of you who value your privacy. In short, it has been an absolute GAME CHANGER for me.
We used to use the virtual credit card…
We used to use the virtual credit card feature of one of the big credit card companies but they neutered their program so that is is almost useless for protecting consumers. We switched to Privacy and have been very happy with the simplicity and flexibility of setting up virtual cards within the Privacy App.
A great way to secure transactions
A great way to secure transactions. Virtual credit cards can be created as one time use or attached to a merchant. Then setup if desired to only allow a specific max dollar amount in total or for a specific period of time. Privacy does not reveal any personal information to the merchant. The setup took time before they accepted me as a customer. I have never had an issue with Privacy. Credit backs work flawlessly. It is great to be able to hide the transactions from the bank. The first time is a bit of a shock. You will see all transactions under Privacy. At first it looks suspicious until one remembers I did that setup. I did have one issue. I did not receive credit for recommending this to another person who did join. More important that the service is excellent.
Online Shopping Resource
Privacy.com has been a great way to manage my online shopping. I love the controls provided for each card I create. The only limitation is foreign transaction fees so I don't use it for foreign purchases. I have had no trouble with fraud attempts through Privacy like I've had on my main visa card. I recommend privacy very highly.
Great Service to Offer
This is a simple and effective way to create a credit card. Once youget the hang of it goes fast. There are a few thing that could be made clearer but I figured things out using common sense. I was thrilled to find out such a service existed.
The Apple card does not have a Google…
The Apple card does not have a Google version. I don't know why Google has not offered a physical card and generation of virtual numbers through the Wallet app. The Privacy service provides the most useful part of the solution with on-demand virtual cards and a full featured app to manage them. It's where security and my money are best friends. ©️🙂
Smooth and Powerful
Once set up, very smooth and fast card creation and use. Has become a surprisingly powerful addition to my financial privacy.
Privacy policy could be better.
The service seems to work very well. My biggest complait is that the privacy policy could be stronger.
So glad I found Privacy.com
So glad I found Privacy.com! After getting my debit card numbers stolen multiple times I needed to find a safe way to shop online and pay securely and Privacy com was the answer. I love the fact I can pick multiple card types to pay, i.e. one time use, merchant locked, etc. I can even put a limit on what each card can spend. Don't wait, get Privacy.com and stop the worrying!
Virtual Cards are awesome!
Really like the ability to use merchant-locked and price-capped virtual cards to manage different accounts, contain rogue subscriptions, and flag when activity needs review. Been using the service for over a year and have had no problems using their virtual cards online. Had one brief interaction with support during setup, and it was positive.
Control that card issuers should have built in
This is a consumer protection feature the card industry should have offered years ago - I have used Privacy.com for roughly three years, and it has become one of the most valuable services online.
The ability to generate virtual cards, including single use cards and merchant locked cards, is exactly the kind of control consumers should have had from major credit card issuers from the beginning. In practice, many subscription and trial based businesses rely on inertia: lengthy terms, easy sign up, and cancellation flows that are just inconvenient enough that people stay billed longer than intended. Traditional cards do little to help customers prevent that pattern.
Privacy.com fixes this by letting me limit where a card can be used and by making it easy to stop unexpected or unwanted charges without disrupting my primary accounts. It is a simple idea executed well, and it meaningfully shifts power back to the customer.
In my experience, their service has been reliably and consistently customer aligned. As of Jan 2026, I highly recommend it, and I expect to keep using it. And I hope they do not shift their core values and policies in terms of services provided.
Privacy.com makes it extremely easy
Privacy.com makes it extremely convenient to track payments to payees, limit and prevent unexpected charges, and keep our company's expenses organized.
Finally! Online Shopping Without Fear!
I find the online services from Privacy.com to be very useful and convenient. I like the peace of mind that comes from knowing that I'm not sharing my card details with the whole world whenever I shop online. Thanks.
Privacy.com is an indispensible service…
Privacy.com is an indispensible service in our cyberthreatened world. I feel safer and more confident in doing business online when I have a Privacy.com "credit card" to use. The features such as monthly or annual limits, and one-shot use are extremely useful. I'd recommend Privacy.com to anyone who is concerned about their digital information.
0 stars if possible
1. Takes way to too long to sign up 2. A very long waiting period after giving every single piece of info a person has to use the service. And I was able to link a bank account somehow without providing a password to said account, in my opinion that's very sketchy and makes the company seem to be involved in the very thing they say they prevent.
Site sucks ass
Site sucks ass. Never even sends confirmation email when settings up account. Who would trust a website/service that cannot even send an email. If 0 stars was an option that is what this worthless site would get.
I genuinely love Privacy.com so much…
I genuinely love Privacy.com so much man. Thankfully, websites accept the virtual cards over some 95% of times at checkout. It has saved me from so many forgotten free trials and fraudulent charges from sketchy websites. I would attach screenshots of declined transactions from free trials if I could.
Convenient Bank Privacy
This is a convenient system that keeps your bank data private. Settings must be precise, though, and if a merchant tries to run the card and cancels for some reason, Privacy will still treat it as a duplicate charge and deny it. This has only happened once.
