Printify Customer Support is terrible!
I’m really disappointed with the customer service from Printify.
I placed an order and 5 minutes later my customer messaged me asking to change something in the design. Since it had only been a few minutes, I immediately went to cancel the order to then duplicate and edit it.
I’m using Printify Choice, which clearly says the order qualifies for automatic cancellation. I clicked the “Cancel Order” button about 8 minutes after placing the order.
Instead of canceling, the system loaded for about 10 seconds and then showed an error saying it would submit a “cancellation request” instead.
At that point I thought it wouldn’t be an issue since it had only been 8 minutes, so there’s no way the order had already been printed and since the cancellation request “went through,” the provider would be able to see it in time. Well… WRONG. 😑
Two hours later the order still showed “pending,” so I contacted support. They told me the order was already printed and there was nothing they could do.
I explained the situation and mentioned that the cancellation system clearly malfunctioned. If the automatic cancel button had worked correctly, this wouldn’t have happened. And if the request for cancellation was truly submitted on time, there’s no way this couldn’t be prevented. I also find it hard to believe that the printer fulfilled my order within 8 minutes. Btw, it still showing as “in production” on my end and it’s the next day.
Their solution was that they’ll “contact the provider to see if they WANT to cancel the order.” 🙄 Of course, later I received an email saying the provider declined.
So now I’m stuck paying for a product my customer doesn’t want because the cancellation system failed and customer support dismissed the issue and BLAMED ME because “they can’t cancel and order because I changed my mind”
What’s the point of having a request system if the provider rarely checks those messages or can simply ignore it? And why promote an automatic cancellation feature if it doesn’t actually work?
This is incredibly frustrating and I’m so upset. I’m currently looking for other POD provider.

Overall, this site has made it much easier to directly sell to customers on Etsy. I've only had one or two hiccups with production and they've been helpful in resolving those in a timely fashion.

As a brand new Etsy seller, I was nervous about picking the right print-on-demand partner. Printify made the whole process surprisingly straightforward. Connecting to my Etsy shop took less than 15 minutes, and publishing my first products was intuitive even for a complete beginner.

Very disappointing experience with Printify. I placed an order and realized within about two minutes that I needed to cancel it. When I contacted support immediately, I was told the order could not be canceled, even though it had just been submitted.

good system. just still expensive to make a shirt for myself. really really really would like to see more tri-blend color options and suppliers or even poly-cotton colors. I don't know who wears heavyweight cotton anymore and likes it.
