We purchased a variegated ficus from Prickle after our old one was killed by spider-mites after we’d loved it for 25 years. We decided on a 1 metre tall specimen to grow on ourselves. There were plenty of size options at various prices. The reason we tried out this mail order service was that none of our local garden centres had them in stock. We were a little concerned about the delivery as we often receive damaged items from other vendors and ficus plants do not like being moved. Honestly we felt it was a gamble but we were prepared to complain if our plant wasn’t of good quality. However, we needn’t have been worried, the courier service Prickle use are extremely careful and our plant was very securely packaged with clear markings to keep it upright. The delivery driver actually waited for us to answer the door and carried the plant into the hallway for me (No knock-a-door run here!) There were plenty of plant specific care instructions on an enclosed leaflet, which also informed us that the ficus may shed some leaves after transportation. Ours only dropped a half dozen or so leaves and is now flourishing in our conservatory.
The website was easy to navigate with clear ordering procedures and there were lots of photographs of every plant we looked at.

I love Prickle Plants. I have 4 now in my sitting room and 1 on my decking. The plants have all been thriving on delivery and very reasonably priced. I won't buy plants from anywhere else now.

Bought two large plants and a pot. One plant (zz) came out of the packaging very leant over and with a couple of broken stems. Think I might have to repot in order to straighten it out. Other large plant (yukka) and pot came very well packaged and without issue.
Update - Emailed the company as advised a week ago - still not heard back from them. Lop-sided plant has lost more branches and a number of those remaining are turning yellow. Pretty dissapointed.
2nd update - Have sent two direct emails and one using the form on the website. No response. The plant is 80% dead.

Great little selection of cacti and arrived in 2 days very well packaged.

I haven't received my order...
They are claiming I have received it but are getting mixed up with a previous order I made 4 weeks beforehand. My order PRI#42791 is yet to be seen! And still no news from their customer service...

Excellent service, delivered with care for my Yukka Plant

Prickle plants not responding or atemting to communicate with me the plants i bought was disgusting it had been pruned to fit into a 20cm box sent them pictures still no reply seems there's no customer service no phone number they have a email but don't reply i need to have a conversation with them 😑

Delivery speedy and efficient. Would have liked guidance on the size of the pot needed for my dracaena. I ordered the largest pot and it isn't big enough. Not blaming them at all, more my fault for not paying enough attention. Plants arrived healthy and look good

The plant is beautiful but a lot smaller than what I expected and it doesnt really show the hanging effect I was hoping for.
