I believe the enterprise is a scam. They show beautiful clothing at great prices, then at checkout, overwhelm you with all sorts of complicated and conflicting offers and discounts.
Their customer service is terrible. You can only reach them by leaving an email. Sometimes they contact you back. sometimes not. They also repeat to you what they think you told them - and get it wrong every time!! This happened 3 separate times during my transaction. And it requires another email chain to connect with them. The order was never fully corrected, buy was sent anyway. When the merchandise arrived it was of very poor quality - nothing like advertised - and the sizing was all wrong. Both items requested were mens size L. One was so small, my 98 lb wife could not fit into it. The other was slightly larger - akin to a US size Small.
I just wanted to return everything at that point. So - I looked for return instructions in their materials and on their web site. They actually referenced a "button" to push on the page to generate a return form. No button. I went to the home page to look for it. It was also referenced there - but no button. Got back on their customer service merry-go-round. Then got the song and dance about how I'd have to pay shipping to a non-US distribution center. I finally settled on a 25% discount and will donate the items to a local charity.
My advice - STAY AWAY. This is not a credible US company despite nice looking web presence.

Based on my direct experience, this company operates as an absent retailer. We attempted to initiate an exchange pursuant to the company’s stated 30-day return and exchange policy; however, despite multiple documented attempts to communicate via email, no substantive response was ever provided.

There is no functional or responsive customer service channel, no reliable point of contact, and no meaningful effort to address post-sale issues or honor published return obligations. As a result, the company effectively prevents customers from exercising their stated return and exchange rights.

The company’s apparent business model appears limited to selling merchandise and collecting payment, with little to no accountability once a transaction has been completed. In my assessment, customer engagement, post-sale support, and policy compliance are not operational priorities.

Due to these practices, I have formally filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the New York State Attorney General’s Office, requesting review and investigation of the company’s operations, including its failure to honor its published return policy.

Additionally, the merchandise received was, in my opinion, materially below reasonable quality standards. The product appears to be low-cost, mass-produced goods sourced internationally and resold at a significantly inflated price point, without corresponding value, quality, or customer support.

Consumers should proceed with caution.

The leather "bomber" jacket arrived. I immediately tried it on (excited) but as soon as i pulled it from the package, i knew it was lightweight crap. I dont know what material they used but it wasn't leather or leather-like. It smelled just like the cheap Halloween costume I bought from...CHINA! Yup, that's where this crap was made. I actually tried it on and I could barely get my arm in the sleeve. SKIN TIGHT! It's definitely not a New York product. If so, NY is worse off that I thought. Avoid! Haven't tried to return yet, but by what I'm reading, its almost not worth the hassle.

I placed the order on 12/16/25 after reading the reviews on your website how orders are shipped in 2-3 days. Your company name gives the impression that you are based in NY and your website states that you are a "trusted US brand"   very deceptive not telling the customer that products are made overseas and take forever to get here through customs.  It took 3 weeks to get these sweaters (which were gifts) , which would have been ok because I explained to the recipient that they would be delayed and they looked online to be really nice sweaters. When I finally got them, they were similar to something that I would buy at Walmart. No way could I give them as a gift. And trying to return them was a joke...you have to pay return postage and custom charges. Those charges are almost equal to the cost of the sweaters. What a scam company! And I will make sure to share this on every review platform possible. Quality is horrible and customer service is even worse! Stay far away from this company!

The quality and construction of their clothing could be better for the price level. The return policy doesn't refund you the full price paid for the item purchased. Preston will deduct inflated international shipping fees from your refund and give you a small refund percentage of the cost. Do not order from Preston-NYC.

The ad makes it looks like a nice fabric sweater, but the actual garment is a cheap printing of a sweater pattern on a flimsy fabric. It's total garbage. This company is a scam. When I wrote to them to complain, they basically did nothing about it. Avoid this company.

I paid $60 for a $10 sweatshirt. Oh, the pictures made them look like good quality knit sweaters, and I fell for it. What came was 2 flimsy sweatshirts that cost my $60 each and a women’s turtleneck, that was $50, that was supposed to be fur lined and it turned out to be a flimsy sweater that is fleece lined. This website should be shut down and the people arrested for false advertising. Don’t fall for the pictures and the address.
