BEWARE of Chad Meadors and Patrick Wilkins aka Prestige Land Group THIEVES

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Prestige Land Group. Over two years ago, they accepted and have since held onto my $47,000 deposit for a ranch purchase in Bosque County, TX.  The county has now confirmed they (Prestige Land Group LLC) never had proper permission and approved plans from the county to legally sell the property. Their title company (Lawyers Title) was also either knowingly participating or utterly incompetent in handling the due diligence necessary to safeguard my interests. Their combined negligence has resulted in significant financial and emotional distress.

I've emailed and texted both owners Chad Meadors and Patrick Wilkins multiple times and they usually don't even have the decor to reply.

Given their glaring lack of professionalism and accountability and possible incompetence, I strongly recommend avoiding this company to prevent theft and potential harm to your clients or yourselves.

Doesn't Comply With Do-Not-Mail Requests

Received physical mail. Contacted company and politely asked to be removed from mailing list. Instead of ethically complying like the 20+ other companies I've contacted, the salesperson said something to the effect of "Who doesn't want good land? Just throw the mail away if you don't want it."

He then said his company wasn't the one that sent out the mailers (they were), and when I asked if he could send out an internal email, he agreed then hung up on me before I could give him any information.

Lack of email address or any social media whatsoever on their website adds to the notion that this is not a trustworthy company.

This feels like sleazy and unethical behavior that doesn't belong in the modern era. Prestigeland does not seem like a reputable company.
