Taylor and Shefali really make this class fun! They create personal examples and make learning feel easy!

My instructor was Taylor Trautwein, and she did an amazing job teaching the Prep Expert Strategies! I learned new ways to approach all types of SAT problems. Taylor made the class very engaging by relating her own SAT experience to the class strategies. It is also very motivating to see so many others in my class also working hard to maximize their SAT scores! Thank you Prep Expert!

My experience with Prep Expert was absolutely fantastic! Miguel was an excellent instructor who helped me sharpen my skills in areas that were lacking. My scores on my practice tests have gone up a tremendous amount and I feel that I am extremely prepared to take my upcoming SAT.

The curriculum is extremely well organized and well thought out. The inclusion of strategies as well as the opportunity to take practice SAT modules and challenging questions trained my mind into what test day is comprised of. Taylor Trautwein was the instructor for the sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays during my six-week course. She was very friendly and thoroughly explained each strategy.

I loved the structure of the class, and how the practice tests felt like a real college board test. I think using college board questions really helped me practice certain types of questions. The strategies really helped me improve my score and will continue to use them.

I am thankful for my experience at PrepExpert because of all the material and practice problems they provided which really helped me feel
more confident in the material. All the strategies we learned in class with Mr.Miguel Chavira also contributed to my score improvement and I hope to continue using the resources PrepExpert has provided to further increase my score. I appreciate the methods we learned to just generally take the test since test-taking is such a big part of our lives even after the SAT. I recently completed Miguel Chavira’s 6-week SAT Prep Expert class, and I can confidently say it made a huge difference in how I approach the SAT. From day one, Miguel was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. He doesn’t just teach formulas or test-taking tricks — he breaks things down in a way that actually makes sense and sticks.

What stood out most was how he explained the “why” behind every strategy. Whether it was reading comprehension, grammar rules, or math shortcuts, Miguel made sure we understood the concepts deeply. He was also super approachable and patient whenever we had questions — no matter how small.

Over the 6 weeks, I saw a noticeable improvement not just in my practice scores, but in my confidence. I felt way more prepared and less anxious going into the test. The structure of the course, combined with Miguel’s teaching style, really helped me stay on track and motivated.

If you’re serious about improving your SAT score, I’d highly recommend this class. Miguel truly cares about his students' success, and it shows.

This course was amazing, I was able to improve not only my SAT score by around 200 points but, I was also able to learn many skills to improve my learning habits. Prep Expert has allowed me to learn a ton of useful skills for the SAT and with their skills and methods, I'm sure I will be able to improve and get close to perfection, not only on the SAT but, on many standardized tests.

The experience in my 6 week SAT Flagship Course taught by Mr. Miguel Chavira was like no other. Through ample homework assignments and class instruction, I was able to increase my score about 80-100 points. One thing I liked about the class was the repeated instruction of material if something was confused about it.

What made my experience great was the improvement I saw in my skills as the course went on. Questions started becoming easier to solve and less difficult. Learning in class proved to be way more effective, and the teacher was very helpful in answering my questions.

The instructor was informative and helpful and same for the class which made me feel more prepared for the both the PSAT and SAT!

Tips were very helpful and extra feedback and correctional advice/tips were good, instructors gave extra tips along with the course

The live lessons were very helpful because I learned many things that are important to understand the test itself. I really appreciate that we were able to ask questions and they were always answered by our tutor. All the resources provided, such as the homework, the cheat sheets, the vocab lists, etc were a great complement that helped me improve my SAT score.
