For too long the Mezzanine Floor industry had been a rather boring place to be. It had been filled with stuffy technical jargon due to an engineering led approach and less than average client service. After speaking with businesses throughout the South West and South Wales. We found that there was an extensive requirement for a new breed of Mezzanine supplier. One that was client focused and was willing to work with the client to assist in the growth of their business by providing tailored solutions. And Premier Mezzanines was born! We have supplied and installed Mezzanines Floors at our parent company for a considerable time, with our team having over 30+ years’ experience. However, our directors knew that to provide the level of service we aspire to, a standalone business needed to be formed. By establishing this standalone business, we have enabled our specialist team to focus solely on what they do best – Mezzanine Floors.

Refused to give money back
When I first started speaking with these guys everything seemed positive. Martin then came out to see us and look around the shop, and gave timescales and details of what to expect during installation. Based on this information we proceeded to drawings and survey, and paid a 50% deposit. We were then given dates for work to commence, and the timescales had doubled the amount of time we would have to close, and closure had become mandatory (initial conversations we were told we could remain open during suspended ceiling installation if we chose to). I explained that we could not work to these new constrictions and cancelled the order, however they have not refunded in full on the basis that I cancelled after they incurred costs. They are refusing to return my money even though we would never have taken it this far had they given us the correct information to begin with.
In response to the reply from Premier Mezzanines:
Everything I have stated is the truth. This project was supposed to springboard my new business into looking amazing, and I was working with the information provided by Martin.
I have left you this review because it is an accurate representation, and you certainly shouldn't be proud of your service.
Please note that it was actually me who decided to close whilst the ceiling would be being done, so to claim in your response that I would be willing to remain open is another inaccurate depiction from your side. If I truly wanted to just cancel, why would I now be starting the project again and be looking for another supplier?!
In response to the remaining 5% being to cover costs incurred, as told to you several times now these costs would not have been incurred had you been honest with me at the beginning as I would have said then that it was not possible.

Dan, we are very disappointed that you have left this negative review on our company. Unfortunately, your review contains several inaccuracies. Firstly, no timescales were quoted when we visited site to measure the area. Secondly, we would never suggest building a suspended ceiling whilst your customers or staff were walking around the area, as we take health and safety very seriously. Surprisingly, you seem prepared to allow this to happen. We quoted for this work in April, then, during the next 2 months, several emails and discussions regarding the final design, the order was placed in June. During this time, again, there was no mention from you of your required timescale on the project and how long you could close the shop for. The deposit was paid, so we then sent our surveyor to carry out the detailed survey, we produced detailed structural drawings, which you approved, we then designed the steel fabrication and ordered certain materials. Then, we confirmed a potential start date and timings. This is when you immediately emailed us and said you wanted to cancel the order. It appeared to us that you had already changed your mind and did not want to proceed with the order, so you have come up with your “Version” of what was discussed. We paid back 95% of your deposit and retained a small amount which partially covered the costs incurred at the time of cancellation. We pride ourselves on our excellent product and service. It is a real shame that our dealings with you panned out this way and we wish you all the best.

They completed the job on time, on budget and on spec with zero fuss.

Great service with good communication throughout the design and installation process. I'd certainly recommend them and also if ever we need a mezzanine again, we will be in touch.

Mezzanine floor installation in factory
Premier are an excellent company to work with. From the beginning to end of the project you receive support, advice and suggestions all of which make the process very smooth. The pricing is also very competitive which is always a bonus.
The workmanship is very very good. Working area is kept clean and tidy with consideration for the employees working around them.
Our Sales Executive Martin was excellent - he guided us through the whole process - faultless service and support
