THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR LIFE, TO PLACE YOU
You have a great job, but it is only 6 months; a young chap from the agency calls you, his boss also calls. A job in the City, a CONTRACT at top rate a day. WOW. You are interviewed and offered and pack in your job.
When you start to do the paperwork, you realise that the rate is less that originally stated, (you would have to work 11 hours a day to get the 600) worse you realise that as a contractor this is a "contract" on a salary/wages job and that destroys your tax status for the next 2 years. SO THEY LIED TO YOU TO GET YOU TO END YOUR OLD GOOD CONTRACT.
You are stuck, so do the City job and get an extention GREAT, TIME TO CORRECT THE RATE AND TERMS. The agency negotiates BEHIND YOUR BACK the rate for the extension without talking to you and LOWERS THE RATE WITH A VERY CASH RICH CLIENT. You get the paperwork to renew the contract with hope - ALL HELL LETS LOSE. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! THEY LIE AND DESTROY YOUR LIFE, HIDE ESSENTIAL INFORMATION.
Whoes fault is this? It is a lesson to us all on "trust". 60% my fault, I admit that I trusted them! Should you trust agencies especially from "Manchester" and not carefully check the paperwork first? Unfortunatly the paperwork was only given at the last minute. AVOID THEM LIKE POISON.
