What should have been a visit and day of remembrance has become a nightmare
I went to a hotel in Felixstowe where my parents got married for lunch with a family member I don’t get to see very often. I parked in the car park and paid for lunch in the hotel. I did not see any ‘signage’ mentioned. None of the hotel staff mentioned I should pay either. I received the penalty notice from premier park on the anniversary of my mother’s death. VERY steep charge too!! DO NOT park in their car parks if you even suspect they may operate them. CLEARLY a scam!! Avoid!!
Centenary Square Premier Parking Bradford
Stayed at Leonardo hotel, Bradford and used this car park just behind the hotel on multiple occasions. This was on the advice of staff as discount parking available for hotel guests. Payment made for 2 days parking on their Park Bunny app. We were therefore very surprised to receive a parking ticket in the post. It appears that when you pay, for example, 2 days parking, this is not for a rolling 48 hours. We parked and checked in at 3pm but the company informed us that our parking expired at 6am on day 2, rather than 3pm. Will definitely not be using this car park again. AVOID!!!!
BEWARE: Predatory parking fines and aggressive debt tactics at Go Outdoors Plymouth store.
"I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment genuine customers receive at this retail park. I recently visited to shop, and despite parking safely and causing zero obstruction, I was slapped with a Parking Charge Notice by Premier Park Ltd.
I submitted a polite, factual appeal with photo evidence proving my car was safely positioned, which they rejected out of hand. Worse still, their email responses and rejections were filtered straight into my junk folder without my knowledge. Instead of showing any customer-focused discretion or sending a reasonable follow-up notice, they silently let the clock run out and handed the account over to a debt recovery firm—inflating a minor penalty to an extortionate £170.
Retailers need to realise that partnering with aggressive, automated parking enforcement firms actively punishes loyal shoppers and creates a deeply hostile environment. If you shop here, be warned: make a microscopic parking alignment error, miss an email hidden in your spam folder, and you’ll be thrown straight to aggressive debt collectors.
Safe to say, I will be taking my custom elsewhere in the future. Think twice before parking here!"
Dirty little parking attendant man outside Leeds springs
Dirty little man outside Leeds springs.
I have a blue badge and the little tramp looked at me and took sneaky pictures from the back of my car.
Not the front either where the badge is.
Evidence that you waste of space man in Leeds, springs.
I can identify you as you were so creepy looking at me like I didn’t have a disability.
What because I got up out of my car looking fresh.
I’m a young person with cancer you little dog.
Get a proper job or at least do this one right.
Beware of a Premier Park car parks
Beware of a Premier Park scam where their machine requests a contact less payment and when you do, the machine bleeps and issues a receipt. LOOK at the receipt because the machine does not contact your bank to take payment. Instead on the receipt in small print it says payment rejected. Please note that your bank will NOT have received a request for payment. I assumed that because it appeared that payment had been taken and a receipt issued, I had paid for parking. I received a fine of £60. The company ignores correspondence and eventually after 3 contacts, I received a reply saying I cannot appeal. DO NOT USE THESE ANPR CARPARKS which are run by charlatans.
Free Hotel Parking
I stayed for two nights at the Halfmoon Hotel in Sherborne, registering my car at the reception console as the hotel offers free parking for guests. A few days later, I received a £100 Parking Charge Notice for parking on the second day of my stay. I appealed through Premier Park’s website, explaining I was a hotel guest entitled to free the entire time. Weeks later, they emailed saying I hadn’t “proved” my stay. I found my hotel receipts and tried emailing them back, but the message bounced. I then sent them to an admin email I found online, which also bounced with a note saying they don’t read emails. Reviews suggest they also ignore posted mail, even if tracked. Premier Park seems to take an overly aggressive and intimidating approach trying to scare people into paying charges they don’t owe. The matter is still unresolved, and now I’m just waiting for debt collectors to call.
Parked by Exeter’s cathedral
Parked by Exeter’s cathedral, paid for parking in full and week later received a fine that I failed to pay for parking. When I sent them receipt they stated that I admitted to put plate number incorrectly - I never mentioned that
Premier Parking extorting money
Went out to a local pub for my retirement meal with a group of colleagues. Registered my car in the machine at the bar. Received a letter on 30/05/26 advising I had failed to respond to a letter sent to me on the 06/05/27 for parking on the 01/05/27. I have never received a letter before now. This letter advised I lost the previous letter hence I can no longer pay lower amount of £60. No information on letter to phone and discuss issue. Will now have to pay £100 out of my first pension payment to prevent the cost rising. Will not be returning to local pub as long as they have this parking company on site.
3:50 Sunday
3:50 Sunday
Wanted to buy a pair of shorts in GoOutdoors quickly.
Carpark was almost empty. Parked considerately away from the no parking sign(on tarmac)
As the shop was closing in 10mins i was back out within 10mins.
Miraculously a camera vehicle was there to take pics of my van.
Yes it was my mistake for not parking in a bay. I doubt ill ever be back to that carpark and the shops ever again.
Premier Parking gained my money but these shops at this location have lost my money.
No stars how do these oriole get away…
No stars how do these people get away with this surely trading standards should get involved .
Dont answer emails don’t answer letters Don’t ring back when they promise to …
Pulling my hair out !!!!
Warning do not use. A consistent scam with parking fees.
I received a fine after going over by 20 minutes on a four hour ticket after being stuck assisting some children on the water. The first that I knew of it was a 'Second letter' advising me that because I hadn't answered the first letter, the fine had gone up from £40 to £100. I had heard of this scam where they actually don't send the first letter out but have a copy on file and just send the second letter so that the first thing you know is that you have £100 fine. I wrote two letters to the company sent by recorded delivery advising that I hadn't had the first letter and explaining the extenuating circumstances leading to my overstay. I have since found out that they do not answer letters and the next thing I knew was that my fine had been bumped to £170.00 and debt collectors had been appointed. I made contact and had no choice but to pay, as my next fine to be imposed in a few days was going to be £340.00. I was advised that Premier Parking will not answer letters because they can just keep bumping the fine up by not answering the letters and that it is not in their interests for you to settle early or to do anything that expedites your enquires, so that you than pay the increasing level of fines. The payment that they receive from an overstay is 60 times the level of the ticket that you have paid for. The guy who I spoke to told me that they make more money out of doing this than they do from parking fees. I will avoid any Premier Parking sites in the future but if you do get a fine and write in, just be aware that they have no intention of answering you, hoping that the fine leaps up several levels while you wait for your reply.
Unscrupulous
Parked in a disabled bay bonnet first. In a major shopping area. The Blue Badge was clearly displayed on the dashboard. The parking charge notice showed 2 photos of the rear of the vehicle only, claiming that no disabled badge was on show. They hadn't even bothered to check the front dashboard. My appeal to them was denied. I have now appealed to Popla. This company is a disgrace and their unscrupulous methods of generating revenue is nothing short of open exploitation.
No courtesy for disabled people
0*
I parked at a shopping centre with premier park, my family member is disabled and we needed extra time for shopping. We went over the time limit. I tried to appeal the decision of £100 fine (£60 if payed in so many days… how generous) and they denied it.
I will never park with them again.
Disgusting.
rip off company
Parked car in derby paid £4 FOR 4 hours parking. only there for 2.5 hours got £100 fine. appealed unsuccessful. went to POPLA this was unsuccessful
complete waist off time going to POPLA
Had a valid ticket got copy off there print out showing a £4 fee paid but still fined for NOT entering REG number
Absolutely disgusting corporate…
Absolutely disgusting corporate behaviour. Paid for a ticket more than covering parking period but didn't notice incorrect capture of registration number. Accept that it technically contravenes T&Cs but still quite clearly identifiable as my car. If user error, an honest one. Received a PCN and appealed to POPLA submitting photo evidence of ticket. POPLA declined appeal and these shameless cowboys called in the original £100 penalty. Not worthy of even a single star.
PCN Altered
I received a PCN from Premier Parking Ltd for a 'contravention' on 18/12/24 at an Asda car park in Charlton SE7, 06:26.
Time and date stamped with photo evidence but no contravention given. Definitely my car, showing it across a bay, but with my reverse lights on. Yes i was still in the car. Only problem was that I was on the bus to work at that time. I gave this information to their associate on the number supplied, and refused to pay. This was passed on to a debt collector, but with a new date
(15/12/24),
contravention of overstaying permitted time limit, but no time or photo evidence supplied. Now they have passed it on to another debt collector. I am in the process of offering Parking Premier Ltd the opportunity to revoke the PCN within 30 days or I will be seeking legal action. Now, on to trading standards.
Shocking daylight robbery
Shocking daylight robbery . I took my mum to the range in Stevenage and to KFC . She’s old slow mobility . The range is a big store to look all around . We bought lots then ate after at KFC . Thought we had enjoyed it . But then Premier park fined me £60 it came through the post . I looked online they have done this to a lot of customers for staying over 90 mins by a tiny bit . They are catching people out knowing 90 mins is not long enough to visit all shops in that leisure park . I’ve paid it but feel rotton . We won’t go there ever again . They are making the shops lose business as everyone is taking it as a lesson not to go back . Absolute daylight robbery . It’s best to stay in and order online off Amazon , that way you can’t get fined . So much for supporting your local shops ay !!!
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers. Failed to issue the parking permit I was entitled to, started sending demands through the post, wasted hours of my time on the phone with them and the legal firms they use to make threats, sending dozens of illegitimate demands every month. They have my tenancy agreement and the chain of emails from my landlady requesting a parking permit and they're still trying to threaten me with legal action and more costs. Total joke of a company.
Traveling on the Lincoln by- pass I had…
Traveling on the Lincoln by- pass I had an emergency as a 80yr old to go to the toilets, I have Chronic Kidney Disease and Prostrate problems, went in what I though was a normal service area. Did not see any signs,Came out very quick. Then received a fine for parking for 11 minutes. Appealed but refused it seems the appeal tribunal is made up of other parking companies. To day received a threat of a Debt collector (who has no authority).. So now I’m looking forward to my day in court, where I shall call them out as unscrupulous thieves, So please do not give into them.
P.s it’s put my blood pressure up by 45% but I’d rather die than succumb to these bullies.
Absolute disgrace of a business
Absolute disgrace of a business, received fine for parking in carpark in swindon used signage shown paid for parking app displayed. Recieved a fine appealed with proof of payment .. with no repose for months .. no contact details no email no appeals status offered. Then received next stage letter threatening further action. my guess is they presure people through making communication impossoble to frighten people to pay fines … shame on any authority that allows this practice ..
