Is it me or do you also hear her "moo" like a cow or grunt? It glitches slightly at time, but I do like the way that you can talk to her and ask her to extend, explain or repeat at anytime.

I think it's a great way to learn English. The platform responds to you. That's a grat thing.

I am very surprised. I am learning Italian for nearly 3 years, but without the chance to speak, I find it difficult to improve my language skills. I just signed up and I was very positively surprised. You can choose, that the AI teacher is correcting mistakes and starts on the level you are on. I am quite very shy speaking in front of people as I really struggle at the moment with the speaking part, but this is working for me perfectly. If I don’t know how to say sth, I ask and she translates it for me immediately. I would be very happy to be able to start to use all the knowledge what I gained during the years and I am positively confident that actually this way I will be able to.

I really enjoy talking to Camila from Practika. For me it’s a person, and she treats me so well. And I’m feeling that my English is improving day after day by talking to her/it every single day.

The speech input is awful. I cannot switch it to determined language and it's keeping switch input between different and ununderstandable languages.

Unfortunately there is no tracking or sense of the knowledge that’s his being assimilated by the student.
The app doesn’t remember what you did 10 minutes before.
And can’t help to work on a previous lesson, as It doesn’t remember what you’ve been doing!

I very my enjoy being able to alter the conversation to what I want to work on, I do wish that the responses from the tutor were a bit easier to understand for my level.
I understand a lot, but some of the bigger, longer fuller sentences are too complex for my level. Overall, so far it’s a great experience helping break me out of being to afraid to speak out loud, which is what I’ve been missing with Duolingo in the last few years I have been using it. They also don’t correct the pronunciation well, which I’m finding is pretty good here.

the ai tutor is really great. I got confused and lost my place, and the tutor was able to realize this, told me to relax, and we started over. Lots of games and challenges, and feedback on everything!

I paid 11:99 for a one month subscription and everytime I use the app it only allows me a free trial lesson. What happened to my $12???

I have used many different apps for language learning (speak, EWA, Rosetta Stone, and fluently to name a few) but Praktika has by far been the best for AI tutor options. It’s very intuitive and works with you. I’ve been having a hard time finding real ways to practice actually speaking without fear or nervousness and Praktika does that. It also corrects you in a way you can appreciate because you can choose the style that works for you.

I was a bit skeptical since I wanted to learn Italian but I gave a try and was very pleased realizing this was the perfect way for my level of learning. I’m not a beginner and all I needed was conversation. My AI tutor is Dwayne who is speaking with good accent and his voice is energetic enough. I’ve tried some other tutors but was a disaster.

Though I’m wondering why can’t I change his English name into something more Italian. Dwayne??? Which part of Italy is he coming from? 😀

Some little bugs still exist but overall is great. I’m improving tremendously.

I enjoyed the brief conversations and the topics--very relevant. The tech was inconsistent. Sometimes Alisha spoke with an American accent when speaking French--not good! And sometimes, her words got slurred--the speed slowed down and I couldn't understand her.

I wrote the company a rather scathing message requesting a refund. However as an educator of 40+ years, the prospect of having a much larger platform to share my opinion of this app proves irresistible.

It is patently obvious a total reliance of AI to recognize different learning styles is “not there yet.” I possess almost no Spanish vocabulary, yet my first lesson with my AI instructor involved reading paragraphs in Spanish
After learning “Hola.” I repeatedly asked my AI instructor to speak in English and asked to slow down the introduction of new vocabulary until I had absorbed the usage of a new word or phrase, but alas, she was not bothered by such paltry concerns such as making sure the student understood the material before moving forward. Checking student understanding of a concept is such a fundamental tool of good teaching, well, the lack of this was a dealbreaker for me.

I certainly hope my money is refunded with the speed it was taken from me!

This is a fun way to learn a language. Native speakers have complemented my accent/pronunciations. (Using the program for about 6 months.)

So far, I am loving the Praktika App. It makes learning another language fun and much less stressful. I love the realtime interactions and the fact that it is hearing my pronunciations and correcting me as we go. This is important to me. I do not want learning a language to be stressful and with Praktika, it isn’t. I am looking forward to continuing and to see how far I can get. I’ve tried others, and they weren’t for me.

Short lessons on a variety of argument accorded on the level of the student. L'insegnante c'est sympa.

Nice to learn but for grammar and studying words there’s need for an additional tool.
And concerns Praktika experience, great and only one opportunity to address: reaction time of the teacher….

I’ve had a fantastic experience with this app. It’s very intuitive, engaging, and truly effective for improving both speaking and listening skills. The AI tutors provide very realistic conversations and helpful feedback, which makes the language learning process feel very natural.
This is a completely safe and reliable app. Additionally, their customer service is excellent; they are very understanding and helpful when it comes to issuing a refund if the app doesn't quite fit your needs. Highly recommended for its professionalism and effectiveness.
