I wish I could give this company the…

I wish I could give this company the same glowing review I would have written after they installed my windows years ago. The window installation went smoothly, and when I needed warranty service, they honored their lifetime warranty without any hassle. That outstanding experience is exactly why I chose them again for my siding, even though their price was significantly higher than other companies. I believed the extra cost was worth it because I trusted they would stand behind their products.

Unfortunately, that trust has been broken.

I recently discovered a small crack in one piece of siding and was surprised to learn that I would have to pay for the repair, despite the expectations created by my previous experience with their warranties.

My experience with the front door they installed last year has been even more disappointing. Just two months after installation, the door stopped latching properly and blows open whenever the wind catches it. On one occasion, the door opened unexpectedly and my dogs got out, creating a dangerous situation.

I contacted the company in approximately January to have the problem corrected. They scheduled a service appointment for July—already a six-month wait. About a week before that appointment, they canceled because of an emergency involving the technician. While I understand that emergencies happen, I was then told the next available appointment wasn’t until October. That means I’ll have lived with a defective front door for about nine months, and I was told there was nothing they could do to accommodate me sooner.

It’s incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices because you believe you’re receiving premium products and customer service, only to find that when you need help, you’re left waiting for months and expected to pay for issues you thought would be covered.

I genuinely wanted to continue recommending this company based on my original window experience. Sadly, my experiences with the siding and door have completely changed my opinion. Excellent customer service shouldn’t end after the sale.

The work on my house was excellent after service was bad

The work on my house was excellent, and I was very happy with the quality of the project itself. Unfortunately, everything changed after the project was completed and I signed the final paperwork.

They left the dumpster in my driveway for an entire week after the siding was removed. Even worse, after more than four weeks and at least eight phone calls, they still have not picked up the extra materials that were left on my front lawn.

To make matters worse, the dumpster company cracked my driveway, and every time I call Power, no one can give me a timeline or tell me what is being done to resolve the issue.

It’s very frustrating because they are a great company while they’re selling and completing the project. However, once the job is finished, the customer service completely falls apart. A project that started out perfectly has turned into a nightmare simply because they failed to make sure everything was completed properly after the work was done.

Disgusted…

Had my siding, roof and windows done with Power home remodeling. Lifetime warranty on everything out of 9 windows 6 are failing they are telling me I have to pay 180.00 per window to be replaced and they will give me a lifetime warranty on the windows they replace for the windows that I have a lifetime warranty already this is bullshit so I have to pay over a thousand dollars to replace lifetime warranty windows. Very Disgusted you would think that I have spent enough money with them already that they would take care of this not my fault the windows suck it's their problem

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We sincerely apologize for any frustrations or inconveniences you experienced throughout the warranty process. We'd like to provide some additional context regarding this product's limited lifetime warranty.

Unfortunately, the product in question was discontinued by the original manufacturer, who elected not to develop an alternative replacement solution. In response, POWER invested heavily in developing a compatible replacement option and retooling a production line so that replacement products could continue to be manufactured. While we have worked to preserve support for these products, there are additional costs associated with production, and a small portion of those costs are shared with the homeowner.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please know that this situation is not ideal for us either, and we continue to invest resources to support affected homeowners. I rarely write negative reviews

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Power Remodeling Group has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had.

Approximately six years ago, I invested over $13,000 in a bow window from Power Remodeling Group because I believed I was purchasing a high-quality product backed by their lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, about two years ago, I noticed that the glass had developed spots between the panes and the window itself appeared to be shifting out of position.

What I expected to be a straightforward warranty claim turned into more than a year of endless delays, canceled appointments, and broken promises.

During this time:

Appointments were scheduled and canceled repeatedly, often at the last minute.
Installation crews came to my home on two separate occasions but left without completing the repair.
I had to take time off from work for multiple appointments, resulting in lost time, stress, and unnecessary inconvenience.
Communication was inconsistent, and every attempt to resolve the issue seemed to lead to another delay.

Most recently, after waiting yet again for the repair, my appointment was canceled and rescheduled all the way to December 2026. That is simply unacceptable for a warranty issue that has already been ongoing for more than a year.

A lifetime warranty has little value if the company does not honor it in a timely and professional manner. When customers spend this kind of money, they expect quality workmanship, dependable service, and respect for their time. Sadly, my experience has reflected none of those expectations.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Power Remodeling Group. If you are considering investing thousands of dollars in replacement windows, I strongly encourage you to research other companies that stand behind their products with responsive customer service and reliable warranty support.

I hope the company improves its customer service because no homeowner should have to spend over a year chasing a warranty repair after making such a significant investment.

Major rewindow job

Major rewindow job - experience was very good. A little more expensive than we were anticipating but not a problem. Excellent crew work - 22 windows replaced in 1 day. Then 2 doors in hot Phoenix weather. Had 2 warrantee issues (glass does break...) and only complaint was that it was not clear how to get updates on warrantee issues within the PowerPulse application or website.

Good product. Not so good service.

Firstly, we love our windows. The product and installation is great. I’ve marked them lower because the process was not so great. On the day of our install the crew no showed. After waiting several hours we called only to find out the person never came into work that day. We had to reschedule which was fine but they never rescheduled the inspection so then the inspector shows up and is super frustrated, rightly so. Installation day comes and goes. We have someone from power come out for a quality review, which we later found out was just a sales pitch to sell us more stuff. This was very annoying. This was on top of multiple calls and emails asking for feedback. We were staring to feel a bit harassed. Then a couple month after installing our windows they tell us the inspection was never closed and they need to send out an inspector again. At this point we no longer are living in the home and have to coordinate with our tenants. It’s now been several months since installation and they are still calling us weekly asking for feedback. I’ve asked them multiple times to stop calling us. It’s way overboard and feels like harassment.

We can you place 18 windows with this…

We replaced 18 windows with this company because of the warranty they offered. Currently we need to replace two because the seal has broken and they are foggy. The company is now saying that they don't have that manufacturer anymore and want to charge us for some of the cost. Unacceptable! When asked about the rest of our windows being covered due to change of manufacturer they stated that they were not covered! This company sucks don't buy into their bullshit

Warranty Service horribly slow

I purchased a front door and it was installed on april 14, 2026. I have a sealing problem where light leaks through the seal. I called for warranty service on July 9, 2026. I was told that the earliest appointment was September 15, 2026.
After receiving a call today July 22, 2026 from a Power representative to check on my satisfaction and I told him about the issue and he said he doesn't have access to the service calendar and I should call service again to see if there is a sooner date.
I called service today, July 22,2026 and was told the earliest is still September 15th.
Be aware that Power Home Remodeling warranty service is terrible. You shouldn't have to wait 60 days for service.

Customer disrespect

I used them on my prior home and day of service was great however, follow up for parts needing to be replaced was hit or miss and never resolved. For my new home I have scheduled them three times and each time they schedule a same day appointment and cancel at last minute. I may not go with them this time.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We sincerely apologize if you felt our in-home estimate lasted longer than expected. Our intention is never to overstay our welcome, but to ensure every aspect of your project is carefully reviewed before any work begins. During the estimate, we inspect the home, review product styles and options, and discuss realistic expectations so homeowners have the information they need to make a confident, informed decision.

With more than 30 years of experience and over one million installations, we've found that investing additional time upfront often helps prevent misunderstandings, unexpected changes, and costly issues later in the project.

Gross sales tactics, and too much energy spent there

The contractors this company sent did good work and, at least within the first year, the products installed seem to be high quality - I had my gutters and all my windows replaced (two separate projects) - but their sales approach is atrocious. They call repeatedly and incessantly, although they seem unable to get the quote they claim to have on file to post to my account. They did replace a damaged window that the installer discovered and reported, so I haven't observed a failure to meet their contractual obligations; however, having the bandwidth to call me several times a week but not being able to actually deliver on something so trivial is not a good look.

Their door-to-door teams (everyone I've worked with, actually) are very personable, but the company as a whole cannot get the message to stop harassing me. Every time I tell them no, I have to say it more than once, and the sales tactics are unequivocally high-pressure and manipulative. The supposed "quality check" they did after my first installation was actually just another sales pitch in disguise. For one of their selling points being "we don't advertise," they could do a much better job of letting their products - and their customers - speak for themselves.

No respect for my time!

I scheduled an appointment for a free quote on window replacements and asked multiple times how long it was going to take. Never got a straight answer. It took over 2 hours to get a quote. The sales rep was nice but if you are going to take that much of a person’s time, offering them a free quote without disclosing that it takes that long is unprofessional. I found it very rude and makes me not want to do business with a company that doesn’t respect my time.

Response to Power reply: That long presentation gave me a headache! LOL

Awful follow up

First of all, the sales pitch was good, the manager was very clear in communications, the install team was fast. We had our siding and gutters replaced in January. Because of the snow, the install team only cleaned up so much and said for us to call them back when the snow cleared for the remaining cleanup. They damaged a few of our bushes, Japanese maple trees and plants but I let that go because it was winter and these plants will have time to recover. They had leftover material that they left on our lawn for weeks. We had to call multiple times for them to come pick it up. They also installed the house number above our garage and it was off center in which I complained about immediately and they said they would be back to fix it. Called again in March for final clean up and they came and did a pretty good job cleaning up even though I’m still finding nails. When they came, I addressed the off centered house numbers and all the guy did was try to bend the numbers (they’re raised). I told him I’m still not happy and that they need to come back out with a whole new piece to replace the one they’ve drilled into already and center the house numbers. Last week, a whole panel of siding fell off the house. My husband called and they said someone will call him back. He tried to put it back on but it has already fallen off again. Since then, we’ve had rain and humid weather and they were supposed to have someone out on 7/7. Complete no show. I called yesterday and complained about the siding, the off centered house numbers and now, the garage seal is bowing. I was told I would get a call back the same day and still no call. I called back today and was told I will get a call back. It’s only been 7 months and siding has fallen off. Yet, it has been 7 months and the house numbers are still not fixed. Absolutely disappointing considering we spent over $35K and keep getting the run around. I would not recommend. Take your money elsewhere because the customer service is all talk and any follow up is awful.

Update- I called Wednesday, Thursday and now Friday and still no call back. All I’m being told is that the field crew isn’t picking up. Just ridiculous

Power Did Sloppy Work On My Siding

Power did a VISUIALLY beautiful job on my new siding when seen from a distance and the tech, Marcus was prompt and performed his craft with pride. Power representatives taught me a lot about siding and Marcus explained many techniques as he worked. I am so excited about the way my house looks- from a distance, but there was a lot of damage done, wires strewn on the ground, still picking up nails the end of May right through July. There were some issues that needed to be fixed and Power sent a tech out who did a sloppy job of repairing the issues, which is a matter of the worker bringing personal biases, sizing me up and doing work accordingly. I had to call someone else again. This was in April and they made me wait until June to come out to make repairs. Meanwhile, I am paying the bill. Customer service gives cult-like answers and will not let me speak to a manager.. My window screen has holes in it and the tech said nothing, a section of my porch railing was cut out for the tech's convenience and put back in a makeshift manner with drywall screws and plastered with caulking. The top railing was separating from the spokes. My lights do not work in my screen room along with the security light and fan. All of the light outlets were put in upside down and the panel that operates the ceiling fan and lights was also put in upside down. My fireplace vent was completely sealed off; outside vents are there to prevent carbon monoxide from entering the house. My dryer vent was removed and completely sealed off and when Marcus came back to put it back, he put a frame on the outside, but did not put the pipe in or seal the open cavity in my home, which is a fire hazard safety violation that will be reported along with sealing off my fireplace vent. This was a serious safety violation and no one from the office gave a hoot. Now, I cannot hook up a dryer. there are ugly smeared caulking around my windows where they were encased. The outlet caps that I paid an electrician for were taken away and replaced with some cheap covers from Home Depot. They are crooked. and not flush with the wall. The front 2 covers don't even even match. One electrical outlet in the back I cannot open anymore and I paid an electrician for this work.
Just the week of May, I discovered a large gap in my screen room big enough for a snake to get through. When the tech leaves a gap, he knows it is there, but his biases kick in and tell him that he can get away with it here and he was justified by every manager that came to my house. Another problem I ran into this week is with my downspout which is leaking and is crookedly attached to the drain pipe. ' I just discovered unfinished siding in the front of my house and there is a crooked J channel over my garage door. the top J channel looks like pagodas because they were sloppily installed. I looked at the caulking around the garage door jambs and it is filthy; this is only 4 months in. It will be super filthy in 4 more months. I paid $800 to have my garage door jambs wrapped in October 2024 and they were perfect and clean because the correct caulking was used. Now Power contractor presented the same problem I got rid of. Power has taken so much from me. They took down my nice gutters that had a lifetime warranty and put some cheap gutters up just to give a contractor some work. Now my pipe is back up that was flowing nicely for the last 26 years. Some of the siding was cut too short and looks like .... My telephone jacks don't work anymore because the installer took the box off of the wall. When I called , I was told that they are told not to take the box off; now my jacks don't work anymore. Both the contractor and helper solicited me for work on day 1. The helper pissed out in my backyard and the F word was flying and I heard it several times and even to my face. At this point I am very disappointed with Power Home Remodeling, their customer service, and lack of care. The managers try to talk away any damage like the hole near the corner of the window J channel. Their slogan is, 'Our Work Shows, but what shows on my house is sloppy, makeshift, careless work.
while acting as an employee, the assistant solicited work for his illegal company on day one saying that he works with Power and they funnel work to him for his business building decks..

Don't stand behind their product!

Company installed what was supposed to be a bay window to replace my old one (old one never leaked, but lost its seal after 20 years). It looked great, but it wasn't a true bay window - just two replacement windows attached to a fixed one. Sis months after early fall install, we noticed the window was leaking - a lot. They did come back at least six times trying to fix the problem. After two years they finally admitted the window was faulty and would replace it - but only with a flat window, which is not what we had, or wanted. Their "lifetime" guarantee only exists if it suits them. I just finished paying off their window, and am having to pay someone else to install a good, real bay window. Probably going to try and take them to court to try and get reimbursed for at least part of the cost. I will not recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience after having my roof, windows, siding, and front door completed by Power Home Remodeling.

I recently looked out of my son’s window and noticed what appeared to be numerous nails scattered across the roof. To be clear, I do not know whether there is an actual issue with the roof, whether the nails came loose from something that was installed, or whether a box of nails was accidentally left behind and spilled. That is exactly why I contacted Power.

What I do know is that I should not be responsible for inspecting the roof, figuring out where the nails came from, or cleaning them up myself after such a major project.

After being disconnected on my first call, it took about 35 minutes to finally reach someone. Unfortunately, the representative showed very little empathy for the situation. I was told that, because I am not currently experiencing leaks or confirmed damage, the next available appointment may not be until October. She said she would leave a note to see if someone could possibly pass by sooner, but there was no real urgency or reassurance.

That response is extremely disappointing. I understand emergencies need to be prioritized, but nails left scattered across a roof after a major exterior project should not be treated like a minor inconvenience. At minimum, I expected Power to take ownership, send someone to inspect the situation, determine what happened, and safely remove the nails.

After trusting Power with multiple major projects on my home, this has left me very disappointed in the follow-up service and overall accountability.

Service Nightmares

Contracted for windows, gutters, siding & trim - $90,000 in CT. Zero stars - do not recommend. Absolutely NO service after sales unless you spend three months hounding them, hours making several calls per week for the same issue, and no calls returned when messages left. They refused to address service requests because 'their crew wasn't in the area.' Nowhere in the contract I signed does it say that service is predicated upon a crew being in the area.
