The worse ever.

The worse ever.
Tried to ID myself for an account opening in a bank using their third party system. So damn rude! I first tried in English but my call was never connected after waiting 45min. Then picked German as I understand a bit. The guy on the line was such a disgrace, yelling at me out of nowhere and being overall agressive for no reason. Then hung up on me! German customer service...which mean you are annoying them by just existing and wanting to use their service. I'm still in shock!

Very rude Postident agent

I decided to verify using Postident for my insurance application and guess what? I was treated impatiently and rudely by a chubby woman agent with a polish name! Upon her taking a screen shot of my passport info page, she insists that I do not pin my passport with my fingers although the pages are clapping close if I don’t!! I explained it is not possible to keep the pages opened if i don’t pin even just the edges with my fingers so I suggested that i could pin them instead with some pocketbooks or similar on the edges so the passport pages don’t clap close. She just said rudely that I try again next time and ended abruptly the video ID process!! My God these people should never do these jobs if they hate it!! Do something else not customer-relations related!!

I just tried per video call

I just tried per video call , to do my vertification, and i must say, that the gentleman on the otherside was very unpatient and irritated, his left was my right side, so it went a bit side ways, at the end he told me next time i should do this my own language,, ( GERMAN)???? FYI Sir, i was born in the UK, and german is a second language , and you didn`t have an easy accent to understand either. and then he just most rudely cut the line!
is this how we treat people?
well thanks for nothing, and i hope this is more than english enough for you to understand!

Absolutely horrible Raul Monceda

Absolutely horrible experience with a gentleman by the name of Raul Monceda (unsure about the last name), raising his voice to me that “we are the authority” and “we issue the ID cards”. Couldn’t find neither the crayons nor the time to explain to him that PostIdent doesn’t issue id cards nor are they any authority. What an absolute joke of a human being. Hung up and sent me to a physical office to get identified. Thanks to Teodora Frink for working it out immediately after.

Incredibly rude, refuse to use browser, don't accept ID forms listed

Incredibly rude. There are no customary introductions or pleasantries. They just go straight to giving attitude and even ridiculously aggressive facial expressions because, I guess, they can. We need them to identify us so we have to jump through these weird, nasty hoops.
Aside from the extremely unpleasant people, they say you can use your web browser for identification or the app. Well that's a lie. Once you get on the line, they refuse to even try if you're on the web. So why give that option?
They also say you can use multiple types of identification but then refuse to use anything but your passport. Again, if there is only one option to use, then don't say you can use others. Don't give the options.

Vorsprung Durk Teknic

Vorsprung Durk Teknic. Or whatever the correct term is. That’s a laugh. 2nd year I’ve tried to get on this app. You have to be a Philadelphia lawyer to understand the instructions. Speak English and Spanish. Can’t make head nor tail of it. What a disappointment.

The Worst service i have ever…

The Worst service i have ever experienced. The advisor on the phone was rude, abrupt and hung up because he could not read the passport numbers. If this is typical of German government applications, its a little wonder they are in the trouble they are in. Shockingly awful experience!

This is not customer service

This is not customer service. Unpolite, unhelpful. His only intention is NOT to do his job and sent you to a post office. I really do not understand how you can have people like Anton talking to customers.

Absolute disaster and customer scam. POSTIDENT lets people talk to you as if you are noth worth anything and they just hang up on you because they could not see the ID card properly. A man called ANTON BUCH was extremely rude, impatient and clearly did not want to do his job. I applied for an american express and had to identify myself but this company lets people basically treat you like a no-one and makes american express lose customers! No way to file complaints either.

Why is there no ZERO point for this…

Why is there no ZERO point for this service? The screen says 25 minutes, I’m sitting here over 1 HOUR, only to be disconnected after it says “Estimated period of waiting 3 minutes.” I did this TWICE! I’ve used other identification video service, my call was picked up after ONE SECOND, identification done in 2 minutes! Deutsche Post, shape up will you???

Worst attitude ever

Worst attitude ever even though I have been in Germany for 3 years and I have seen bad service. DeutschPost please do something otherwise just remove this option. No one needs such attitude or even a bad day from any unknown f*kers.

Horrible language competency

I've lived in Germany for 4 years and have used various Video Identification systems, such as IDnow, without any issue. PostIden surprised me in that the staff speaks horrible German with a thick foreign accent. The first agent, Lorna something, rudely refused to repeat her instruction and claiming that I wasted her time and hang up. The second agent, despite the accent, was nice enough to complete the verification successfully. Please make sure your staff is able to speak native-level German.
