Still going strong.
Was looking for info on the new Aura machine and ran into this review page and figured I would comment after seeing negative reviews.
I run my machine 4-5 a week 1-4 hours. My players love the machine and will even monopolize it when I'm practicing by myself and they happen to show outside of practice times.
Consistent feeds, customization, easy load, and battery lasts. I have the remote, but run it from my phone app, sometimes 2-3 courts away while working with other kids.
I've run groups of 4-6 and drill trimmers as high as 18 minutes with constant refilling while running. Even with that, it hasn't had any issues with heat, wind, and the AZ dust. I do have to tidy it up every use due to the dirt and debris the balls pick up and deposit in the machine, but nothing has bothered it yet.
Position sensors in smart mode allow for slower work on footwork, distancing, and return. My players each have their favorite trigger drills and match point levels. I personally, am still just scratching the surface of what this machine is capable of.
I was part of the early bird Kickstarter group and got my pro later than anticipated, but still early on and it has been worth it. I did have an issue early with the battery indicator failure and communication was difficult due to USA / Hong Kong time difference, but they responded and helped me as best they could. (Turned out to be light issue only and battery itself is still working fine.)
This machine will be with me for as long as I can take care of it. I have plans to buy again when this one fails as it has been a dream. I just wish there was a total ball counter as I believe I'm sitting at less than a penny per fed ball by now.
New Pace S Pro broken - no customer service
I waited a year (!) for my Pace S Pro. Of course, after waiting a year, I had to reinstall all the updates, which took quite a long time. After the whole process, I got error message 2008. I contacted customer service and Max gave me instructions on what to do. When that didn't work, he said that the motherboard was defective. He would send me a new one. I would then have to install it myself. He did not respond to my request to at least extend the warranty. I find it very strange that after waiting a year for an expensive tennis ball machine that is advertised as being high quality, I am not even given a warranty extension and have to replace the motherboard myself. Is it due to the poor quality of the machine or is customer service ‘just’ overwhelmed? To be continued.
No tech support, Warranty is a joke
I purchased PongBot Omni Pro for $1300. This little robot is incredibly customizable and easy to use, until it stops working after only 8 months of normal use. Then I discovered that the company doesn’t have proper after-sales support. They have no office locations in the U.S., and all communication has to go through someone oversea. That means you ask a question and get a reply a day later (if you’re lucky). If you ask a follow-up question, you wait yet another day. The process is ridiculously long and inefficient.
Although they claim the product has a 1-year warranty, they asked me to sent them numerous video clips showing that the robot doesn’t work properly, and I followed every troubleshooting step they asked of me. In the end, they wanted me to fix it myself by shipping me a part. The part arrived after 2 weeks, it is clearly a used part they disassembled from another robot. Right after it arrived, my husband and I spent 3 hours trying our best to do the repair followed their crappy instructions, but no luck. The robot reacted the same way. Nothing is working.
They finally agreed that I would have to pack the robot myself and ship it to their overseas location, but they have been extremely slow in arranging the shipping. I even paid $65 to have a packing company box it up with padding, and this giant box has been sitting in my living room since mid-September with no instructions on how or where to ship it. It’s now been 6-7 weeks since the robot stopped working, and I don’t know how long it will take to get this process done. All their responses were “we have some issues with our repair warehouse, we will let you know when we confirm”, over and over, not helpful at all.
This has been a such frustrating experience. I regret getting this $1300 robot in the first place.
I suggest you really need to think through before you purchase it.
By far the best AI tennis training tool!
I am a tennis coach, and I have used the PongBot Pace S Pro for over 5 months. I can say it is by far the most advanced AI training tool.
Many features make this tennis robot stand out; however, my favorite ones are:
1) Custom Drills
This feature allows me to create the drills that my students need. It can add up to 40 balls per sequence, which is amazing.
I can pre-program the drills in the PongBot app and have them available whenever my students need. I can even share the drills I create with the PongBot community or download other players' drills.
2) Recovery Trigger
With this feature, the machine can track when you move to a certain spot and feed only then. This means if you get tired, the machine will wait for you until you get to the specific spot. That's because the PongBot robot comes with sensors that you place on the net, and one on you (hat, clothes), which allows the machine to track where you are on the court.
In this way, the machine adapts to you, not the other way around.
3) Adaptive Rally
It is another AI feature that PongBot offers. Through its sensors, it tracks the player's position on the court and feeds to that spot. Which means the player doesn't have to rush quickly to a particular place after hitting the ball. The player can practice hitting from various parts of the court - best for beginner players, but not only.
There are many other features, like the NTRP training, the adjustable speed, spin, and placement of the ball. Plus, the fact that the battery lasts forever... well, not quite, but 8 hours is more than plenty.
Overall, the PongBot Pace S Pro is by far the most advanced tennis robot I've played with, and I've been using ball machines for more than 20 years.
I am glad I finally found one where I can put my creativity to the test. :)
Waiting over a year
I ordered my product for delivery to the US well over a year ago through Kickstarter, essentially helping fund their business. Still no product, missed deadlines, promises of shipping dates (never met) and as of late no responses to email. Very disappointing and $2k USD gone...
Ordered in November, still have not received in July
The product may be good, or may not. I don't know because I still haven't received it. I ordered their tennis machine and it still hasn't come nearly a year later. I've ordered off kickstarter before, but this is by far the worst experience. They don't reply to comments on there like other brands do and when you email them you get slow, vague, inaccurate replies. Even giving the leniency that it was a kickstarter campaign, it is completely unacceptable.
Do not order anything, service is terrible.
Taking money but do not deliver and worst of all... Permanently telling lies and now since a month no communication at all. Thx for nothing.
My order was placed and paid in November but until now (March) not delivered and no info if and when they ever plan to deliver.
After 6 months coaching my students…
After 6 months coaching my students with the Nova S Pro, I continue learning to improve my skills as a coach. The Nova S Pro has an enormous amount of possible combinations. It has being a great tool to help my students and allow me to be closer to check their techniques. I am coaching most of the time foundational techniques 80% and 20 % tactic drills and receives. Pretty soon I will expand and buy the Omni Pro for more advanced players. Even for my ON_Line Coaching it is the best cost benefit you can get in whole market.
PONGBOT Omni S Pro
This table tennis robot is truly incredible, and the absolute best value you can get for a table tennis robot.
I’ve used flagship robots from other top table tennis manufacturers and I can honestly say that the Omni S is the superior robot in many ways. The Omni-S head moves and rotates automatically to create a TRUE side spin (or any other spin you want) on the ball, and is able to land in any place on the table.
The robot comes with pre loaded drills, but the real benefit of this robot is that you can create your own custom drills to practice any shot or game situation you desire. Within hours, I was able to program over 20 custom drills, including short pendulum serves (underpin with left spin) to my backhand, short tomohawk serve (under spin with right spin) to my forehand. Long serves for both tomohawk and pendulum. Half long backspin balls. The faulkenberg drill, short under spin to forehand + long underspin to backhand, underspin to forehand + topspin to forehand and so many more!
The spin goes up to 10, but honestly I haven’t used more than 6 for topspin shots and they are KILLER! I am a club level player rated 1700 USATT and I firmly believe this robot will serve my training needs all the way until I am past 2000.
If you have any questions - reach out to Pongbot’s customer service team. They respond quickly and they are very helpful. They recently reached out to me with a customer survey and I gave them a list of ideas that I believe would improve the user experience and they said many of those things are already in the works, so it’s nice to know they still want to improve their already excellent product.
If you want a great practice partner, buy the Omni S pro!
Very fast shipping
Very fast shipping considering it came from China to the UK

Nova S Pro APP working correctly now
Nova S Pro APP working correctly now
Kyle has done a great job dealing with the various issues that need to be addressed, and his software team was able to fix all the bugs that were holding back the product from being 5/5. Now all is working as expected. In conclusion the Nova S Pro is an excellent robot, great for beginners as well as advanced intermediate players.
NOVA S Pro training robot review
I bought a NOVA S Pro training robot about 3 months ago. I play doubles socially and have found that the Nova S Pro has greatly assisted my playing, providing an opportunity to refine different shots and techniques with its ease of use, portability and selection of drills via the app. It has cost less than hiring a coach and combined with the training videos on the pingskills.com website. (Bit of a plug for Alois and Geoff here, can't thank them enough for the free lessons they provide! :) provides me with first class training sessions suitable to hold my own in social games. People now comment favourably that I've been practicing! :)
I have used PONGBOT robot
I have used PONGBOT robot, the robot is of very good quality and has outstanding features, I think PONGBOT is the leading table tennis robot brand today.
Great robot
Super fast shipping. Great communication and customer service. I am a beginner ping pong player and the nova s pro is helping me improve my skills. It's super portable and easy to carry which is needed because I don't have a table at home.
I was looking for an affordable robot…
I was looking for an affordable robot for table tennis to train my son and get some practices for myself. I'm a quite advanced player, I'm very surprised how the pongbot could drain your energy in minutes:) highly recommend not just for beginners, but for the players with advanced skills too
Wonderful product
Wonderful product, light weight design with great versatility (with a nice carrying bag) for convenient handling.
The APP is also great with nice training programs suited for all levels, and highly customisable for more advanced players.
Overall customer support is excellent, especially Kyle who has been super helpful and prompt in responses.
Thank you and well done!
PongBot Has Been Awesome
PongBot customer service is awesome. They made sure all my questions were answered (especially Kyle!) and were super easy to talk with. Also, the robot I got from them (Omni S Pro) is one of the best I’ve ever used. Feels very high tech and the digital tablet you get (or mobile app) were both great to use. Robot is VERY quiet, which I didn’t realized I needed in my garage where everything echoes. Used it about 2 weeks now and found many built in drills I’m enjoying and they work great.
I'm impressed with Pongbot's customer…
