The entire experience—from ordering to delivery—was outstanding. The website is easy to navigate, the pictures, description and dimensions are all very detailed. The chairs are beautifully crafted, made of solid wood- it's rare to find furniture of this quality these days.

Not only am I in love with the chairs, but the communication with this company is exceptional. Monica followed up with me regularly to keep me fully informed every step of the way. This made a big difference. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that values its customers and takes pride in their work. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

This handmade furniture is made with so much love. Their feeling for design, quality and detail is of the highest standards. The wood is really (!) as soft as the finest silk and all materials are very professionally selected. Last but not least: Pommier has very kind and helpful employees whom are very service oriented and very easy to get into contact with, for all of your questions. This makes buying and owning a Pommier piece of furniture a 10 out of 10 experience. One helpful remark for when you are buying from the Netherlands: make sure you calculate the customs fee in your total price because this is on top of the retail and shipment price

Really fine and sophisticated furniture (table Orel, Tea and Mosso chairs and Cotto seat) that looks great in my living room! The finish is very nice and you can see that a lot of attention has been paid to detail. It was absolutely worth waiting for some time!

I love the product, high quality work. The chair is a bit bigger than I thought but I found the right place for it. It took some time for it to be made and sent but the post sales service was very good and they kept me in loop with all the updates once the product was ready

We ordered four chairs, which arrived very well packaged and were of excellent quality.
We were even able to order additional backrests later on, which allowed us to upgrade the chairs for added comfort. Customer service is always attentive and responsive.

We ordered the Mosso chairs two months ago and received them on time. There are extremely comfortable and look even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Pommier furniture enough! The quality and style of the Otto chairs and Cotto armchairs are truly extraordinary.

Beyond the beautiful products, their customer service is exceptionally professional. I did encounter some issues upon delivery (a damaged frame on one Otto chair and a missing part for a Cotto armchair), but the team handled everything flawlessly. After reporting the issues and sending pictures, they immediately processed replacements.

While preparing the custom parts took longer then expected, the wait was absolutely worth it. Receiving a full, perfect replacement shows that Pommier stands behind their quality. Highly recommended for both style and their professional commitment to customer satisfaction.

Important Note for EU Buyers Regarding Shipping: European customers should be aware that the import and handling fees are significant. For instance, my armchair was shipped in two separate boxes, and each box required a payment for both the import tax and a postal handling fee. Even the replacement parts were taxed upon arrival. Factor this high import cost into your final budget.

I ordered four armchairs (mosso comfort in oak) and a Charlie Pommier shelf in August. I received the armchairs in November. Delivery took a long time, but it paid off. They're as beautiful as they are on the website. I'm very happy with the comfort. They're very comfortable and so simple and chic. The craftsmanship is a true masterpiece. The wood is so beautiful. It's very soft. The armchairs look so delicate. You can't see any screws. It's a great product. We purchased six chairs, a table, and a shelf, and the quality of the furniture is absolutely outstanding – we were truly impressed! The craftsmanship and materials exceeded our expectations.
The only challenge was the shipping process. The items were sent from outside the EU, which meant we had to pay import VAT. It would have been helpful to know this in advance (you can find it on the website but rather in the fineprint than in your purchase summary). Additionally, one chair arrived with a defect, but the company handled it exceptionally well. They responded immediately and resolved every issue without hesitation.
Overall, we are very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company for their high-quality products and excellent customer service.

We recently purchased a set of handmade wooden chairs and are very happy with them. Simonida took the time to help us choose the perfect model and fabric color, which made the whole process much easier.
The chairs are elegant, comfortable, and beautifully crafted with attention to detail. The wood feels sturdy and smooth to the touch, and the natural grain gives each chair a unique character. They’re also easy to clean and add wonderful warmth and charm to our dining area.
The delivery took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait.

I'm very satisfied with the chairs we just received. The whole process was simple and easy. The chairs arrived on time, they're beautiful and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this company.

The furniture piece is of absolutely perfect quality with well-packing (no doubts). The only pity is that since we ordered in May, it was delivered in October. I do hope that they can manage it to deliver sooner than that. Anyway, a satisfying shopping. I would like to order two more chairs in the future:)

This was not a straightforward import process and the overall cost to import to EU was significantly higher than the sale price. Furthermore, the quality of carpentry is not at the standard expected from the price point: inner and under-arm edges are not sanded smooth, non-visible joinery is not flush and more likely to come apart under load, stitching does not follow a straight line. Looks good from a distance but not worth the price.

Import process: the company sells you a chair (nowhere does it say you're paying for "digital services") and shows itemised shipping costs in the order confirmation, but it's the invoice you need for customs and there they send you split invoices for 'custom-made product' (~10% of cost) and 'personalized digital services' (vast majority of costs). These invoices total what you paid inclusive of shipping, but don't have shipping costs shown, which is important because they shouldn't be taxed.

But they don't supply both invoices together, only the smaller 'furniture product' invoice which customs office looks at and inevitably rejects as it does not reflect the real cost of the kind of wooden chair you'd bother to import. So then there's back and forth between customs and Pommier to get both invoices, which still don't evidence the shipping cost. So you're taxed on everything which means the cost can be around 30% higher. And you're taxed on shipping even when you shouldn't be.

Pommier knows exactly what it's doing here, and declare as much in their emails:

"Please note that, in line with international trade regulations and the European Union’s Union Customs Code, customs duties apply only to the physical goods being shipped."

But, in my case, the customs office was smart enough to question the declared cost of a wooden chair from a designer furniture company that ships in two large boxes. If your experience is like mine, it will be you who loses out from this 'clever' invoicing technique.
