I had such a great experience at Pollete Amsterdam! Inés is not only an expert but also incredibly wise and kind. I came in to change my glasses from two years ago and get a new pair. Even though my old ones couldn’t be fixed, she set me up with a provisional pair so I could use them while waiting for the new ones. How cool is that? Exceptional service, highly recommend!

They are the best. I'm buying their glasses since 2013. I think i bought more than 10 and i've never have a problem. That's the best ratio quality/price. In addition to all this, they have an incredible customer relation support. Ronny was so helpful with me. Thanks a lot.

On my last order, it's was a mistake on my diopter when I received my new glasses.
after discussion with Ronny from the support team, they fix the problem and send me the good diopter some week later.

I had a great experience with Nicolas who came. As someone that has never worn glasses he bought a great collection and walked me through what would suit me while understanding what I would and wouldn’t like as we tried on different glasses.

Awful quality glasses and unhelpful customer service. I’ve had my glasses for just under a year and despite looking after them, they have started to oxidise on the bridge.
I wouldn’t care apart from the fact that the glasses are now completely unwearable due to them causing a horrible rash on my nose. I talked to customer service about this and they told me that the solution was to buy the frames again and replace the lenses…
So buy the poor quality frames again, the frames that didn’t even last an entire year and are now causing me a rash? No other solution
Just avoid, they are clearly cheap frames and the customer service is unhelpful when things go wrong

Bad Service When Things Go Wrong
I bought an expensive pair of glasses from Polette after emailing them to request that I wanted my glasses to have a tinted glass when inside the house and a darker tint whenever I went outside.
As soon as they arrived and I opened the box, I could see that the glasses had no tint at all. It was clear glass inside the house.
I made immediate contact to tell them of their mistake and have spoken to 4 different people in Customer Services via email with evidence of what I originally requested but first they are trying to blame me for confirming the order even though I explained that in good faith I believed that as they were the opticians that they had included this on the order because that was what I had requested.
Since then nothing has happened. They keep sending emails that is not acknowledging the actual problem despite me telling them several times and even sending a picture of my glasses as proof that they are NOT tinted when indoors. They are ignoring the actual issue.
I am very disappointed in their lack of response. When you purchase an item everything is OK then as soon as something goes wrong, they don't want to take any responsiblity.
I ask everyone to take heed as once you've paid they are finished with you.

Thank you for rethinking and removing your last statement regarding the GPDR - European Laws that I mentioned. Just in case, I've kept a copy of it.
As you already know exactly who I am, Ronnie, and the other 3 colleagues have not done anything to resolve this situation.
1. I've asked for a full refund but you haven't done this. If done the case is resolved.
2. You could order what I originally requested ie: glasses tinted when worn indoors and go dark when outside and once I receive my requested order and all is well, the case will be resolved.
3. Wait until the case is sorted out for you.

Tried on a pair of sunglasses at Paris location and then ordered them online. This is such a scam, not at all the same quality. The ones at the store were heavy and such good quality, but the ones I received were cheap and flimsy. When pointed out to costumer service they didn’t even try do defend themselves. Save your money and avoid Polette.

The frames I am reviewing were purchased only two months ago. I informed Polette the very next day, once I opened the package, about the issues with the frames and lenses. A horrible customer service experience, literally the worst I have EVER HAD. I repeatedly asked to return the glasses they sent, which were the completely wrong product, for which I had paid a considerable amount of extra money. The product was incorrectly sized, BROKEN and DEFECTIVE. They don't care at all - DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO BELIEVING ANYTHING THEY SAY TO YOU.

Elated to report I just received a parcel to replace an order that was missing from my mailbox...and in good time. My disappointment in the loss was over in the receipt of a great quality package of three frames and lens. Thanks for the nice white holders as well. I can never find the black holders in the bottom of my portfolio that I carry around. Will be back in Paris in November to treat myself for Xmas!

I discovered the Los Angeles showroom of Polette only recently, and am so glad I did. Obvious reasons are the price and so many good looking frames! but most importantly that I had interactions with three separate kind, helpful, and knowledgable folks working there. There was a slight glitch in my order, but the response and correction I received was simply top notch and happened with much ease and flow. Polette is my new destination for all my optical needs. I so appreciated the whole experience and thank you all for the kindness. oh! and the inscription on my frames "be the black sheep" fits me perfectly! cheers, addison

Absolutely fraud of a place. Put up a picture to be inexpensive but doesn’t pay their staff! I have not been paid for 3 months! They have been evicted from SOHO from the same reason. Stay away not worth the money you think you are saving if anything goes wrong
